Better workflows for organizing content
A colleague of mine works in an a department we'll call "DepartmentX" in a larger organization. Within other departments in the org they create a "DepartmentX" folder and share that to my colleage's box account.
My colleague now has several "DepartmentX" folders and cannot at a glance see where they are from.
In the initial view in Box and even on BoxDrive the "root" is polluted with other people's stuff and it is not possible to organize that into sub folders that are meaningful.

I would like to see the "running application" pop-up automatically removed after the application is opened.
When you open a native Office application in Box Edit, Box displays the message "Running application".
The above message remains even after the file is opened, but it's hard to tell if the file is open or not, so can you change the function so that it disappears automatically after the application is launched in Office?

Customize group admin access, Just to handle folder addition
Currently, Group admins have more privileges over on box groups, In our environment, we have 0 group admins for all the groups we manage.
Trying to see if we can have more customization on the roles been defined for a group admin.
A role where they can just manage content access will really help us bring down admin control on group access.

Awful UI problem when adding collaborators
Please fix this awful UI problem: I tried to invite collaborators to a folder, and send a message. I hoped to include my contact info so it would show up in the email. Apparently any sort of URL is not supported in this message box. Ok, fine. But instead of giving me an error message and allowing me to save the last 15 minutes I spent compiling the list of collaborators and writing the message, the box disappeared and AFTERWARDS I got a red message box stating that URLs are not supported in this message box. I lost a lot…

Allow System Administrators to download pkgs/msi's for all OS without being redirected on your site.
Hello!
I am unable to download the regular box drive pkg on my m1 mac. I am a system administrator who needs to download all pkgs/msi in order to support the business. I shouldn't have to use an intel based m1 mac just to download a pkg to upload to jamf.https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696254-Large-Scale-Deployments-Box-Drive
My suggestion would be to put direct links to the intel mac pkg on this page and the m1 pkg as well.

enterprise - auto add invited collaborators, need that turned off
as an admin of our Enterprise Box account I would like the ability to turn off the function that automatically adds an invited collaborator who has the same domain. We are part of the state where our domain is the same throughout the state but our Enterprise is only for a small agency. If our members invite another state agency employee to collaborate the system automatically adds them to our Enterprise. Surely there is a way to turn off that function, allow it to be a yes/no toggle even.

Allow AppUser in developer sandbox to use API to invite groups to folders in production.
User groups belong to the production, and production-ready applications are not supported.

Auto-notify collaborators when a file is uploaded to a folder
The folder owner should be able to create an email notification for all subscribers to the folder to receive a notification when a new file is uploaded to Box.
The email would be sent to the user's email on file for that Box folder. The user would not have to update his/her own settings. The folder owner would set notifications, and the user would have to turn them off if too frequent.
The scenario is that a shared Box folder with <10 users. The users are generally infrequent users of Box, so do not proactively check on the folder frequently.…

Uploaded images may be upside down or sideways. Please have a rotate function in Box.
We are using Box.com to obtain tax documents. Some of the images are coming upside down or sideways. We need a rotate feature in Box.

The option to cascade Relay triggers to subfolders for all triggers
Box needs to add the cascade option to all Relay triggers to catch activity in underlying subfolders. The legacy automations feature that Box had did this by default. Now, the alternative is having to create several relay workflows that is too cumbersome to manage and doesn't scale.

Collaborator Restriction to a folder.
We need the ability to decide which subfolders a specific collaborator can access. Specifically, we need to restrict access of one collaborator to a subfolder (and all of its contents/subfolders). I was told this is not something Box cannot do. This is an issue. We need to set up an ethical wall in the firm. This associate needs to retain access to everything he currently can access, but legally we need to restrict his access to this matter (folder) and all it's contents.

More Options menu floats upwards
Make the More Options menu self-conscious so it knows whether it's entirely visible. I wanted to download the first file and when I clicked on More Options in List View, the Download option was too high up, under the browser menu, where I couldn't access it. I have a screen print but your feedback doesn't allow it to be included (more room for improvement!).

Detailed List of Managed Users in Tenant
We would like the option to view a detailed list of managed users in tenant that has all the information of the following that is provided in the Admin Console's Users & Groups":
- User Account Details
- User Access Permission
In the case of a large enterprise with many users registered,
this would greatly help check and sort through each user's permissions conveniently without having to click each user's profile.(Currently, neither "List enterprise users" API nor "User Details" report provide for this use case.)

To be able to lock down folders so they won't be accidentally moved or deleted
With many people working together, sometimes folders can be accidentally dragged off. It would be safer if the basic folder structure be locked down so to avoid accidental deletion and relocation but still allow users to create additional subfolders.
Also, in order to prevent random placement of files, folders/subfolders might also be locked to prevent files from being saved at a certain level.
