Improved project/task management
Will be great to have some of the Dropbox paper features in Box notes.
1. Improved checklists -- tagging people and having dates (must have)
2. Ability to tag people within the note (great to have)
3. Improved tables -- for ex sorting (nice to have)

If a user locks the file, it should be only unlockable by that user and an administrator, not other Editors
Other users unlocking defeats the purpose of locking in the first place.

Create a group of previously created groups aka nested groups
We have a group of providers that we would like to make a larger super-group of the nested smaller groups instead of adding each individual user

Major/minor flagging or differentiation in their version history.
It is important to be able to manage milestone updates to a single document that can be referred back to, both major and minor.
Some of this has been compounded by the additional versions created by autosave when using MS Office concurrent editing.

Enhanced Locking Experience on Sync (mimic file server experience) - Auto-Lock & Unlock
Adapt the Box Sync / Box for Desktop lock/unlock experience to mimic the standard locking UX that users are familiar with from Windows file servers.

User-Level Sharing Controls: Control sharing permissions at the User level
This request is specific to controlling external sharing permissions and defaults at the user level. For example, an admin should be able to permit whether a user can generate Open Shared Links (e.g., disable open links per user), invite external collaborators, and the default shared link permission that is generated by that user, even if those users are within a folder that has external sharing enabled.

To achieve granular sharing controls, you can explore using Box Shield to classify sensitive content and set access policies to that content.

Security Report: Include Changes to Any Setting from Enterprise Settings
Currently, the Security Report doesn't appear to capture quite a few settings changes that happen in Enterprise Settings in the Admin console, which is bad.
For example, if an admin is wanting to know who changed the 'save files to device' setting on the Admin Console -> Enterprise Settings -> Mobile tab, there's no in-product way currently to identify that. Also,
--All Notifications tab settings except for the Compliance Email Archive settings are missing
--ALL settings from the Apps tab are missing, meaning there are no filters/logs exposed currently for any changes to make apps available/disabled, disabling all published apps,…30 votes -
'Email Shared Link' - Add Reporting for the Recipient (Who the shared links were sent to)
When sending shared link emails (via the Shared Link modal -> Email Shared Link option) we do not report on who we sent the email to.
REQUEST: In the UI and Excel exports, add information on who the shared link email was sent to.

Admin-controlled AI model governance
Public sector and other regulated customers need stronger admin governance over Box AI model behavior. While admins can select a primary AI model today, they cannot control what happens if that model becomes unavailable. For FedRAMP, CJIS, and procurement-constrained environments, automatic failover to an unspecified model introduces compliance and risk concerns. Box should allow admins to select a primary (default) AI model, restrict usage to an approved model list, and explicitly define fallback behavior if the primary model goes down: either fail over to an admin-approved backup model or automatically disable Box AI. View suppression list
I should be able to view emails on my suppression list. I appreciate the ability to remove addresses from it myself, but not being able to see which email addresses you are blocking creates situations wherein I do not know someone isn't getting mail until after they have missed at least one message.

We want to enable a custom app partially by specifying users/groups
A feature has been released for integrated apps that allows you to partially enable them by specifying groups or users, but we would like a similar feature for custom apps.

Save Microsoft Teams Recordings to Box
When recording a call/meeting in Microsoft Teams, it defaults to using OneDrive as it's default storage. Currently the process of saving a recording is a manual process of downloading the recording, and uploading to Box. I'd like an option to default recording data to Box instead.

Ability to see deleted items only in the trash of the user who deleted them.
In the case that a user accidentally uploads a sensitive file to an invited folder and delete it to avoid the access of others, the folder collaborator with viewer-uploader or above access permission can find it by searching the trash and moreover he/she can restore it.
We need to limit the ability to see deleted items only in the trash of the user who deleted them.

We would like to be able to register a group in the Configure Relay even if the group's permission setting is not "Administrators only"
Currently, when we try to register a group in the Relay configuration, we can register the group if the group's permission setting is "Administrators only", but not if the group's permission setting is "Company" or "Group Members".
Registration location [Enterprise Settings > Content & Sharing > Configure Relay].
We are using "Company" and "Group Member" as the permission setting for groups to be able to respond to group invitations, etc. outside of the management console, so we would like these permission settings to be able to be registered in the Configure Relay.<グループの権限設定が「管理者のみ」以外の場合もBoxRelayの構成でグループを登録できるようにしてほしい>

Box Drive Warning When File Path is too Long
There is a known issue with Box Drive that if a file path is exceeds a character count limit, then the file cannot be opened on desktop, however it can be opened via Box on the web. The issue is, when a user has a file on their desktop, that has a current file path within the character count limits, then moves the file to Box Drive within Windows Explorer and the new path in box exceeds the character limits. Currently if favourites have long file names, the display is cut off. Having the ability to resize the left navigation pane/panel would increase usability.

Retain user name in comment/ task even after user is removed.
When user is removed, all comment/ previous will be display as "Anonymous User". For customer who rely on comment/ tasks it is confusing to keep track on which account posted what.
