Open Microsoft Office in embedded Office app by default
If I have, say, an Excel file in my Box account, I can right-click on it, choose Open with..., then choose Excel Online, and it'll open up in the embedded version of Excel. That's wonderful! However, since I almost always want to open my Excel files that way, I'd really like an option to have that happen automatically when I open the file without right-clicking on it. This would save me a bunch of clicks over time.

In the Enterprise settings for device protection, add the global IP address used during client connection to the device trust requirements.
I would like to add the global IP address that the client connects to as a target in the device trust requirements of the policies that can be set in the Enterprise settings for device protection. Currently, it is possible to apply for allowed IP addresses individually on a tenant basis, but it is not feasible to respond appropriately each time. By making it possible to set this as an item in this function, it will be possible to respond quickly and control the target in a limited manner, thereby improving operational management convenience and enhancing security. I would love if we could Embed AI Agents, and assign specific AI Agents to specific Hubs.
Hi there! I'm trying to make the power of Box AI accessible to my users. Right now the best thing would be to give them a chatbot to read HR documents, on our Intranet in Sharepoint.
I would love to be able to embed ONLY the Agent into Sharepoint, but so far we can only embed the Box Hub. Therefore if my user wants to ask about their HR benifits, my user has to:
1. Go to the HR Sharepoint Site (where they normally find info on employee benefits, etc.)

Expand Column for Files and Folders Report
Sometimes I have users who ask for a files and folder report on a particular folder. After I receive the report I have to create an additional column for a link to the file/folder. I just use the existing information in the report, replace all F with f in the Item Type Column, and concatenate function in excel to create this. Would just like this to be a native addition for the report.

Box Relay auto-populates metadata text field with destination folder name
It would be useful to have a feature where when a file is uploaded, the destination folder name is automatically entered into the metadata text field.
Specifically, when uploading experimental data from an experiment called "A" to Box, if we upload a file to a folder named "A", we would like a system where "A" is automatically entered into the "Experiment content" field of the metadata.

See folder structure
Display the folder structure in BoxDrive instead of presenting isolated folders without context.
For example, if the folder structure is:

|- Zand our access is limited to folder Z, it would be much more intuitive for the interface to display folder X as the main folder, with only folder Z visible inside it.

It's soooo bad that my boss will not use drive, reverted to and will only use sync do to the lack of search capability in windows explorer. He threatens frequently to move us to a different platform because of it. Grammarly in Box for Google
We'd like to be able to use Grammarly in the google docs, sheets, and slides that we store and access on Box. Currently, the Grammarly extension for Google Chrome (our typical browser) works fine on other sites, but not within Box.

We would like the option to change the time zone used in Box Shuttle job reports.
Box Shuttle is an excellent tool for migrating large amounts of data.However, the job reports always show timestamps in UTC, which means we need to manually convert them to our local time zone (e.g., JST) every time.
It would be very helpful if the timestamps in the reports—such as Creation Time, Source Last Modification Time, Target Last Modification Time, Last Access Time, Start Time, and Transfer Time—could be displayed based on the user’s default time zone and language settings.

Enhance Task Management for High-Volume Users
My team relies heavily on Box tasks, and we’ve found that the current functionality lacks robust filtering and sorting options. Beyond the basic status categories—In Progress, Completed, Approved, or Rejected—there are no meaningful ways to organize or prioritize tasks. This becomes especially challenging when managing a high volume of tasks. For example, our HR teammate regularly handles 50 to 100 active tasks at a time, and navigating them efficiently in Box can be clunky and time-consuming. Box Hubs: Allow search functionality within Box Hubs for users without Box accounts
Current functionality: If a user without a Box account access a Box Hub through a shared link, they do not see the search bar
Desired functionality: A user without a Box account accessing a Box Hub will still be able to use the search bar
Use Case: Using Box as a marketing DAM housing photos. A hub could be used to provide access to approved photos so that non-Box users can search for approved photos they need.

Enable More than 2 Simultaneous Legal Hold Exports / Add Export Queue Management
Box currently limits legal hold exports to only two concurrent exports per account, which becomes a bottleneck when managing multiple cases, custodians, or data sets. There is no queueing mechanism or ability to start additional exports while the limit is reached—exports must be retried manually after completion. This slows down compliance workflows and creates operational friction for high-volume teams.
