Vision Pro
Boxer posting on behalf of a customer:
Box for Apple Vision Pro is not using the same API as the iPad app and doesn't show up in the 'Files' browser.
Because of this oversight none of the Apple apps can use files in the box browser the way they do on iPadOS. No collaboration or work on files in box is possible.
Not sure why you would bother making a Vision Pro app, is it only to view files?

Option to overwrite metadata values when moving file
We would like the option for a metadata attribute to be overwritten automatically when moved to a folder with cascading metadata enabled for the same metadata template.
Here's our use case:
Some of our organization content currently sits in user folders. People accessing that content have no way of knowing where it sits, and therefore can't take action to move it to the desired location. Applying a metadata template indicating if content sits within a user or an organizational folder would be a great way to make this visible to users. Box Drive Apple Finder notification and not just small amber sign for sync failure.
Users are regularly experiencing issues with multiple file not syncing (incorrect naming or spaces etc) but the only notification to them is a small amber sign on the files syncing which they miss. Please can we have a larger warning in Apples notifications or Finder window similar to a local server error?

Auto-Save All Zoom Recordings to Box
We need a setting at the account level that allows us to enable all recordings to automatically be saved to Box (regardless of which type of Zoom plan we have). Being required to manually toggle on the save function during each individual meeting leaves too much room for error (so easy to forget - especially because the toggle isn't on the main zoom screen). [Support preview of ".xct" files] Support preview of ".xct" files
We use DocuWorks for our business.
At this time, the Box preview supports ".xdw" and ".xbd", but unfortunately ".xct" is not yet supported.A similar request was submitted on the following BoxPulse, which was "Delivered" as of 09/2022, but only the ".xct" is still not in preview.

Password reset is so laborioius
You need to vastly improve the password reset experience. It takes me several minutes to set up a new password and I have to do this on multiple computers. For one thing, DON'T expire passwords. It doesn't improve security at all. Second, if you have to expire them, send me a warning a few days ahead of time. Don't just shut down my Box drive app. Third, I should be able to log in with my old PW and just reset there, maybe with a 2nd factor authentication, like a text message. Make MPIP and Shield Classification Labels Bidirectional
This make require partnership with Microsoft, but it would be ideal if the MPIP integration was bidirectional. For example, if a file in Box doesn't have an MPIP label, but a Shield classification label is applied, the document would have an MPIP label applied based on the mapping table

I want to be able to create a universal wiki that I can embed Sonar (for Salesforce) data dictionary views into, embed LucidChart and LucidSpark documents, and create general dictionaries, protocols, procedures and knowledge for the organization, department, and teams. User Interface Experience in Reporting.
- When generating a report through Admin Console, you have to manually search for the folder list and often get too many queries and takes too long. It would be a better experience to be prompted with the root directory that you can just drill down to which folder you want to report on in addition to the search functionality.

Request to improve the behavior of files with "Download and Print Restrictions" set on Box Drive
In Shield > Access Policy, we are creating a classification label for the policy that has "Restrict downloading and printing" set as the security control.
Depending on when you set this label classification, Box Drive may not have the limitations you expect.
I would like to see an improvement so that files with "Download and Print Restrictions" set cannot be opened or copied in Box Drive from the moment the settings are set.The specific steps and events are as follows.

The ability to change the format of metadata templates once set
The format of a metadata template cannot be changed after it has been set.
In this case, once a numerical value has been set for the format, only numerical values are available afterwards. This is less convenient and makes information collection more difficult.
If new metadata is added, I have to reconfigure non-target items as well, and since metadata is deployed company-wide, the number of target files is too large and the workload is too high.
Also, to set it via API I have to create a programme, which increases the number of API calls and increases costs.

Allow reporting of user search activity.
We would like to get statistics on how many times a day users search on Box.
And what searched. who was search.
This is currently not available in the User Activity Report.that research for user's searching demand is an important knowledge data for admin and usage development.
