Reminder of auto deletion?
With auto deletion, could you tick a box if you would like to be reminded of the deletion, confirming you are happy to delete? With an option to extend the deletion date?
We would find this beneficial, as we set our files at a year from when the project ended, however sometimes our projects go longer. A reminder would be helpful to triple check we are happy with deleting.

Add ability to add symbols or words on different parts of the post-its on canvas
We're using the canvas to plan project activities and sequence them using a pull planning methodology. It would be helpful if we could edit the top part or bottom part of the note that is currently unused margin to add comments.
We'd like to add durations like 2w, 1d, etc or a symbol that means something in one corner or a champion in another. Sort of like headers and footers on a word document but for the notes.5 votes -
Box Sign - Update default folder that contracts are assigned to on a 1-by-1 basis, group, or company-wide basis
Box Sign - Update default folder that contracts are assigned to on a 1-by-1 basis, group, or company-wide basis.
E.g. I want my default folder to be called "[FIRSTNAME] [LASTNAME] Sign Requests" or "[GROUPNAME] Sign Requests" so that Box Relays are easy to configure.
Rather than every single folder that triggers a workflow being called "My Sign Requests," which makes it impossible to configure Relay Workflows from an Admin level.

Option to remove visible file version tag
We'd like the ability to hide the file version tag both from the list view and preview. The box version does not match up with our own versioning thus creating confusion for end users

Box Report file management improvement
Currently every generated report goes into Box Reports folder, making it rather difficult to neatly manage large number of report files.
If it could be set to automatically sort report files into certain designated subfolders, etc., it would be convenient.

Improvements should be made so that folders with CAN VIEW PATH enabled can be selected when selecting folders in Box Relay.
When selecting folders in Box Relay, folders below the folders for which CAN VIEW PATH is enabled cannot be selected.
The only current workaround is to disable CAN VIEW PATH or search for lower level folders in the folder search, which is inconvenient because many similar folders are picked up and it is necessary to open each folder one by one, so we would like to see an improvement so that lower level folders can be selected even from folders with CAN VIEW PATH enabled.＜CAN VIEW PATHを有効化しているフォルダをBox Relayのフォルダを選択する際に選択できるように改善してほしい＞

Retention Policy blocking trash
Currently end users can move contents to trash even if it is under retention policy, I would like retention policy to also block users to send content to trash.

Display folder path under file/folder listings
For example, for a folder "Project 1" several levels down in the Box hierarchy, display the folder path under the folder name:
Project 1
All Files > Level 1 > Level 2 > Level 3 > Level 4The folder path would be in a font smaller than the folder name and a slightly muted colour compared to the folder name

Box Sign HIPAA compliance
I would like to use Box Sign for patients of a medical practice to complete and sign certain medical intake forms. In theory, Box Sign would be HIPAA compliant if not for one significant flaw that should be simple to fix.
Here's the issue...
When the document is completed and signed, the signer (medical patient in this case) gets an unencrypted email with a link to the signed document. Anyone with the link can view and download the document. If the unencrypted email is intercepted or hacked, the patient's protected healthcare information would be at risk.

Increase metadata field API limit from 3 fields to 5+ or more
Currently, when searching for content using the API, you aren't able to receive results for more than 3 specified metadata fields in the query. If you search for content with fields A, B, C, D, you will only see results for A, B, C. This scale limitation impacts organizations that heavily rely on metadata for use cases at scale.

Box Drive Moving a Folder Off of Drive Fully Deletes it From Box for Mac FPE Users, Folder Lock API Enhancements
For PC Users on Drive (and historically for Mac users), when you move a folder from Box Drive onto your Desktop, it simply makes a copy of that folder and leaves the original in Box.
However, for Mac Users on the new FPE version of Box Drive, if they move a folder from Drive onto the Desktop, it fully deletes the folder from Box.

Folder-level "custom terms of service"
Is it possible to only setup "Custom Terms of service" on specific sub-folders for external collaborators? Or is this setting only account-wide??
Use case:
We have a dataroom set up, and some external collaborators have problems accessing the "login custom terms of service" NDA and logging into Box. The notification emails from the system are often sent to their spam folder.
We can send an NDA via the "e-sign" feature, but don't want our external collaborators to then have to accept it a 2nd time when they come to a (separate, for NDA e-signers) dataroom folders.

External files are displayed in Content Manager
The External Collaboration Report outputs folders and files that are invited from outside as "external folder" and "external file".
The Content Manager only displays external folders, which is not consistent.
Therefore, we would like the external folders to be displayed in the Content Manager as well.5 votes -
Box Image Previews Now Crop the Preview in Grid View
Box Preview now crops the images show in Grid View previews so the user is now unable to see the full image unless clicking in.
The previous Grid View previews were the full image size, which allowed for faster reviews of multiple assets. Clicking into each size now adds a great deal of time to the file review process.
Please consider changing back to the old Grid View preview system. Thank you!

Use Metadata Fields to Rename Files
In Relay, under the Rename outcome, I would like to be able to use fields from a metadata template as pieces to rename the file (and have (2) etc. added to the end of a file name in the case that duplicate names are generated like Windows does).
If a metadata template is part of a file request for a given folder, then I would like the option to use its fields to rename files through a workflow that is trigged when a file is uploaded. For example, when file is uploaded, rename uploaded file to "Submission by 'metadata-first-name' 'metadata-email-address'".

Better alignment options for multiple Box Sign fields
We could use better alignment tools for aligning multiple fields in Box Sign. We would like to be able multiple fields and have an option to align them all together to the left, right or center.
For example, if we have a document requiring 5 signatures, we would like to be able to select all 5 of those signatures fields and have them all aligned to the left so they are exactly one underneath each other.

Add new options for "file event" when creating a relay workflow
Please add the option "New version or Updated" when creating a workflow for a "file event". The new upload option doesn't work if we're simply making an update/edit to an existing document.
