Control when/how Box Drive updates are deployed
End users don't have local admin rights, so IT has to frequently add the new installers to JAMF and SCCM policies

DLP
When copying content from Box Drive to an external volume, Sophos DLP is unable to capture information about this event.
According to the Sophos team, this is a result of Box Drive relying on a legacy file system filter driver, CBFS.
It is suggested that Box update Box Drive to work with Windows file system minifilter drivers as opposed to CBFS. That way DLP could monitor and capture these events.

This is not planned.
We don’t see enough customer demand for this yet, and supporting every additional content type takes a significant amount of engineering time and effort.

Check prerequisite before installation
When running Box Drive without installing Universal CRT, Drive would show an error message "Failed to execute script bfd_main" which is difficult to understand what went wrong.

Integrate Box for Office with Box Edit
Integrate use of Box Edit (Open files from Box.com, edit, and save back) with Box for Office (Create new files in Word, Excel, etc. and save to Box.com folders).
For example - I frequently generate a series of documents that originate in Box.com, but I want to use the Box SAVE AS command to save them back to the same Box.com folder (or one adjacent to it in the file structure) with a new name. Automatically upload iPhone photos to Box
Please provide the functionality of automatically syncing iPhone photos from camera roll to box drive through the iPhone mobile app itself.

Identify locally any failed uploads
Hi, we have had users send entire folders with dozens if not hundreds of subfolders up to Box via Box Drive. In some cases, since they aren't reviewing all of the content they are uploading, there are some failures (inappropriate file or folders names, unsupported file types, etc). Box Drive names the failed uploads but offers no way to identify them in the Box Drive folder structure on the local machine. File name for Box Drive files is NOT displayed fully in File Explorer
In order to expose the full file name the user must manually extend the file explorer in width.

Enhance error messages when storage exceeded to identify which account is over storage
When a user uploads an item to a folder that would exceed the quota, it says "Account storage limit reached." This is misleading if the folder is owned by another user. Users ask for more quota, but it's a different account that has the problem. Please identify the folder owner of the folder that's over quota in the error message.
This applies both to Web UI and Box Drive error messages.

be able to see dropbox folders in my box account
i have clients using Dropbox/Google Drive/One Drive
i want to be able to login in to box.com and be able to see the folders they have authorized me to in these other services. the company i work for does not allow me to login to these other services. im at a loss on how to communicate with my clients using other services.thanks

file transfer status
One of our users recently asked the following:
"The Transfers pane in the Box drive alert window rarely shows any file
names, even when files are actively being transferred. Please change the
Transfers window so that it shows a rolling list of all transferring and
recently transferred files and a time remaining estimate. The list
should be rolling and not clear when the transfers are done. It should
always be possible to see the last 5-10 files that Box Drive has
transferred."I'm not sure if this is a reasonable request, but thought I'd share it here.

Box Drive 'locked file' icon on Windows PC is gray, while the icon is red on Mac OS X
The gray icon is hard to see on PCs due to the size and color. It would be great to improve parity between environments, and have the lock icon be red on both Mac and PCs.

"Box Problem Items" error dialog is useless
I received "file path is invalid on this system" errors from Box Drive through a "Box Problem Items" dialog. This window is useless! All it lists is the problem folder names. I can't simply rename the problem folder from this window; I can't click the folder icon and navigate to the problem folder in my file structure; I can't even swipe the file name and copy it into the search bar so I can find the problem folder on my own. Such a garbage error report! Please make this dialog actually useful
