Allow users to suppress problem items they do not have permissions to fix
For example, you are a Viewer Uploader on a folder that contains restricted Windows characters.
As a Viewer Uploader, you do not have permissions to rename the folder.
Now, your BFD client will forever complain about this folder.
5 votesWe currently do not have this planned on our roadmap.
We will be suppressing server-side problem item (files that cannot sync to Box Drive from Box.com) notifications starting in Box Drive v2.4 in an effort to reduce the noise while we work towards solving this problem in a better way.

Allow Auto-Provisioning from Box for Desktop
Our current desktop apps (Sync, Box for Office) do not support allowing a user to auto-provision their account during the login process.
3 votesWe currently do not have this planned on our roadmap. Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

Make Box Sync test proxy configuration using the domain that failed the request
Currently if Box Sync fails a network call, it will check if it should be using a proxy by making requests to https://www.box.com and http://www.box.com regardless of the domain that failed the call.
This is problematic for customers who have different proxy rules/servers setup for different Box domains.
For example, if Box Sync is failing to download a new version from e3.boxcdn.net, it needs to check what proxy it should use for boxcdn.net and not box.com.

Ability to Suppress Login Screen from Popping Up
Often times customers want to deploy the Box desktop apps, including Box Sync, prior to users actually being able to log in and create their accounts. Currently, Box Sync auto-starts upon startup to a user's computer, which causes the Box Sync login window to constantly appear.
This request is to provide a simple way for admins deploying the apps to suppress that login page until a later point in time.
4 votesWe’ll look to improve this behavior in Box Drive. No changes planned to Box Sync.

Unified Desktop Apps Installer (for Box Sync, Notes, Tools/Edit)
For companies who prefer users to 'opt in' to using Box apps instead of push installation, they would like to have a single 'app bundle' that users can download and install multiple Box applications at once.
1 voteThe installers will be separate for the foreseeable future. Share comments below.

Opt in feature that will trigger an alert to user if their Box Sync hasn't successfully synced in a certain time frame
This could be 24-48 hours. It could also be 30 days. The goal is to alert an admin or an end-user that sync is not working.

Toggle between read-only / edit
Because edit right is given on first-in basis, people who actually need edit write will open the file in read-only mode unless they open the file immediately.
It would be great if the maximum number of concurrent users can be increased. But if it is something that takes time it would be convenient to get a read-only / edit toggle button so user can choose.

New 'Limited' Content Manager Permission - No ability to preview or download files/folders
A new co-admin option that's more even more restrictive than the current 'View users' content' Content Manager role with the following abilities:
--View users (like currently possible)
--Browse user folder trees (like currently possible)
--View file properties (uploaded, version #, modified, name, description, etc.)
--View collaborators on folders and add new collaborators to folders
--NO ability to preview or download files or folders (this is the critical item that's missing currently for Coke as even the 'view' Content Manager role currently allows the co-admin to preview and download files/folders)This could possibly also be solved by breaking up the Content…
4 votesWe may tackle this as we look at a broader re-work of Content Manager.

Bulk Edit - Add Email Alias Column(s) to Bulk Edit Spreadsheet
Currently there's no way for an admin to manage/edit email aliases for their users in bulk via the Admin Console (they must develop custom scripting to do so).
REQUEST: Add the ability to edit/add email aliases for users when using the Bulk Edit feature (meaning add an alias column to the spreadsheet that allows the user to enter multiple aliases in one cell, separated by a delimeter like a semicolon - exactly what we already have for the Groups column of the spreadsheet).

The User Filter is built to only look at the list of current, managed users, so it would be quite difficult to include deleted users.

F&F Tree report
Adding the possibility to run the report for internal folders where you are not invited to.
