2. Prevent users to change their own permission level

   Prevent users to cange their own permission level in order to avoid "downgrading" the permission from Co-Owner to Viewer (for example) just for yourself.

   Or not allowing a user to remove himself/herself from a folder.

3. Allow Admins to Recover Deleted Users Directly

   Occasionally, Admins can delete a user (or large group of users) for one reason or another (license re-allocation, deleting users based off of perceived inactivity, etc.). Sometimes these users need to be recovered quickly to give users access to their Box account once again if this was done by mistake. The ultimate goal would be to enable Admins who have the ability to manage users to recover deleted accounts on their own (whether through somewhere in the admin console and/or via the CLI or API) so that product support doesn't need to do so through a support ticket as a manual service request

4. Move/Copy Functionality Enhancement

   The Move / Copy function on Box currently does not let you replace an existing document with the same name in the same folder. It either adds a (#) to the end of the document name (via Copy) OR throws and error (via Move). I would like to be given the option to replace, or update via versioning, the existing document stored in the folder where I am uploading this document to.

5. Make login screen text easier to edit

   In the admin console, there's a "Login Page" section, where it's possible to set a message that appears for all users on the Box login page. Currently, editing/formatting that message requires both access to the admin console, a knowledge of HTML, and an understanding of which HTML tags are and are not valid in that message.

   As the information posted as a part of that message is often something that comes from communications staff, not technical staff, those barriers to editing it are significant. It would be nice if there was both a way to delegate the editing of that message to another user, as well as a WYSIWYG editor for it.

   As one idea, if there was a BoxNote that could be the source of that message, that would work well.

6. Disable email upload notification for users who are uploading the files

   We are using Box Email feature to collect all attachments from the important thread. Box sends notification after succesful upload for EACH file. Sometimes company logo in the signature is also treated as an attachment. The end result is too many emails from box.
   It will be better to turn off this feature at the folder level. If folder to which the attachments get delivered could select to turn off the notifications, it would be greatly appriciated.

7. Ability to run relay workflows as a group

   Relay workflows and approval tasks are started and sent as the user that created the relay. Ideally you want to get the box approval task that is sent to the users to approve to look like it is coming from the team that is requesting the approval.

   Example: Invoice approval
   When an invoice approval relay starts, pick dept. from metadata and start an approval process to the appropriate user as defined in the workflow. The user gets an email that says 'boxadmin' (in out case the user that created the relay) has sent you an approval task.

   It would be better to have a senario whereby you could select the 'from' of the approval task creation to be from one of the security 'Groups' in Box. Therefore you could then get an email to say.
   Finance Dept. has sent you a Approval Task

   We have delivered this functionality as part of Box Automate.

8. Metadata table(row: files, column: metadata keys)

   We are looking for a table type of view of files(row) and metadata keys(column), that allows us to be able to configure their own views of data in Box.

   It allows us to...
   - configure the view with applying metadata templates(can select the keys to show)
   - filter and sort the view
   - update metadata directly from this view
   - export the view of data to a csv file

   This sort of solution helps users to reduce the time spent for searching the content and updating the metadata values(and it would be competitive with SharePoint library view).

   A box-native metadata table is not currently on the roadmap, but we have launched our metadata query toolkit alongside a content-explorer element that can emulate the same experience.

9. Display folders owned by outbound collaborator when Admin instant login to managed user account

   When Administrator instant login to managed user's account, it is not possible to see the shared folder from outbound collaborator. It makes it difficult for Administrator to monitor activities on outbound collaborations.

   It is not required to allow Administrator seeing anything, but if they can at least see folder name and owner for outbound collaboration it could benefit Administrator

10. Shared Links Report

    It would be nice to have options rather than just export as is. Similar to User Activity, the ability to at a minimum choose a start and end date would be extremely helpful. Currently, our report is not working. Having worked with Box support, they believe it is due to the size of the export. If this is the case, being able to limit the report timeframe, will help with the size. Thank you.

11. Request for resolving the problem of retrieving group memberships

    I wish the following problem will be fixed :
    We are able to see the issue when retrieving group membership datas if the group have multiple users having the same name and get membership with multiple offset.
    For example, there are two users having the same name and both of users is a member of the group. If we request all of membership for the group with multiple offset, the endpoint of group may only include one of both, not include another user in the response.

    I have submitted this incident to Box support ticket(#2387523), and received an answer that the engineering team of Box do not believe the impact of this is significant enough to prioritize at this moment...

    I wish the following problem will be fixed :

    Allow a use to stop/pause syncing of files that are marked for offline access. We have multiple users who travel and are on metered connections but still need access to the internet and their offline files.

13. PDF & PNG Export for Canvas

    When finalizing a session using visual collaboration, it's often required to export the end product to be able to share with non-Box users, and possibly to upload as attachment to other applications. A PDF (possibly PNG) export feature would be great additions.

14. Change the Send From Email

    Have the ability to send from another email, so instead of sending a contract from a specific user, i can send from a company email instead. Additionally we have multiple emails we send contracts from so i would like to select which email to send as.

    These are branded so its important its coming from the correct brand.

16. Ability to specify items that have been moved to the recycle bin when outputting the user activity report.

    It seems that the specification is also intended to check the movement of items before and after they are moved to the recycle bin, but I would like you to be able to specify the items that have been moved to the recycle bin when outputting the report.

    Currently, it is a specification that can not be searched if it is moved to the trash box when the item name is surely grasped.
    Items cannot be specified in the target folder and file items.

    If it can be specified at the time of reporting even if it has been moved to the recycle bin, it will be an effective clue when conducting a survey.

17. Allow bulk actions to be interrupted (such as copy/move/restore/delete)

    When users copy / move / restore / delete a large number of items, we want them to be able to cancel if they notice a mistake along the way.
    Currently, when processing a large number of items in Box, we need to wait until the process is completed even if we notice a mistake.
    When processing large numbers of items, processing may require several days.
    During that time, folders and files are locked.
    Please make it possible to interrupt the process on the way.

18. Ability to distinguish logs with classification labels added or removed from the report.

    The logs of adding and deleting classification labels will be output from the User Activity Report as "Add Template" and "Delete Template".
    However, since the details are blank, it is not possible to determine from the user activity report whether the logs actually add or remove classification labels.
    Therefore, I would like to see the addition and deletion of classification labels added to the items as "Add Classification Label" and "Delete Classification Label" instead of "Add Template" and "Delete Template".
    If it is difficult, I would like to see it placed in the detail column so that we can distinguish whether the classification label was actually manipulated.
