Permanently purge files with the Shiled label
Business activities sometimes require customers to permanently purge confidential information.
However, many Box tenants have the problem of too many items in the Recycle Bin, making selective permanent purging of files impossible!We would like to apply the Shield label to the lifecycle of such sensitive information.
Please consider adding the behavior of permanent purging from the Recycle Bin after a certain period of time for files with the Shield label.Supporting permanent purging by label would provide complete lifecycle management of sensitive information.

Set Classification at a folder level and have files inherit that Classification
Folder level Classification - ability to assign a classification at the folder level so that any file that hits the folder or sub-folders will inherit that classification.

Ability to preview previously cached files by using spacebar in mac finder
When navigating through files in Mac Finder, if you select a file and hit spacebar it will pop open a preview.
Since Box Sync supports this one would think if a file has been previously opened and cached locally by Box Drive, it would also be supported but it doesn't

Folder Tree View in WebApp (Windows Explorer/Finder, eBuilder)
I noticed that Box does not have a high-level folder tree view, except in the 'All Files' page (you click on the arrow next to "All Files"). Many Box folders in my company's folder structure take a very long time to load - however the folder tree view on the 'All Files' page loads quicker, but still not as fast as another application like eBuilder. Having a permanent option on the web application would be very efficient when tracking down files, and load times won't be as cumbersome. Currently, having to click through multiple folders in…

I want to be able to generate a report of folders and files including the file type for example video, word, excel , ppt...

Unable to move Box files to new hard drive
I added a larger, secondary drive to my computer, and I'd like to move the Box Drive and off line files to this second drive. This is because the C-drive is 90% full while the new terabyte drive is almost empty. I need to free up space on the C-drive. I was told "customizing the Box Drive folder does not change where Box Drive stores its app data or cached files, including items marked for offline use, so customizing the folder will not save disk space if you relocate the folder to another drive".

Now it appears that recovery of files that were deleted in a shared Duke Box Toolkit folder can only be recovered by the individual that deleted the file (not the co-owner or admin without the assistance of the individual that performed the deletion). Don't files separately from directories.
Currently a click on the "Updated" column will sort the contents of a directory by the updated date, except all folders are listed first followed by files, rather than a complete sort of both. This is frustrating and unexpected. Please just sort the entries, regardless of file or folder, so items show up where they are expected and are easier to find.

Box AI Q/A on a folder
Currently, if you want to use Q/A on multiple files, you need to be able to select each file or put the content in a hub. It would be good if we were able to use Box AI with a selected folder(s) as context instead of just files.

Make admin console reports (Folders & Files, Collaborations, Shared Links) run at scale
I saw on the Community site that there is a 10 million item limit, but my company has way more items than that. It is important for us to have these reports for security audits.

Count previewing large Video files as "preview" in User Statistics Report.
Sometimes previewing large Video files is not counted as "preview" in User Statistics Report.
It should be counted.

Add searchability for .R files
Users that only work with R files have no reason to use Box

Open files from favorites
I'd like to be able to open a file directly from the favorites. That way, I avoid a preview (and its access stats by the way). If the file is not locked then it is opened in my local app. That would be really helpful.
