Increase maximum image size for branding a File Request to above 1 MB
Upload limit for Box File Request Company Logo Branding is only 1 MB. This is way too small when the average file size of a smartphone mobile phone camera picture is about 3MB, LinkedIn allows 8 MB and Google allows 5 MB.

On a 409 Name Conflict exception, the response does not contain the ID of the group in conflict, requiring the use of another API call to get the ID of the group with that name. Typically we recommend trying to find the group first, if the group is likely to have been created, but in the instance it is not, then 2 calls are, once again, necessary.
We have also seen instances where the group name search is not returning a valid result, and the logic can never find, nor create the group, causing a critical failure in the logic.

Invite Collaborators Pop-Up: Add Optional 'Automatically Remove Collaborator on X Date' Field
Right now, auto-expiration for collaborators is only provided as an option from within the Admin Console.
REQUEST: Add a 'automatically remove this/these collaborator(s) on X date' checkbox to the Invite Collabs Pop-Up, with the default being to have it unchecked, of course.
We have API endpoints already to add an expiration to an individual collaboration (https://docs.box.com/v2.0/reference#edit-a-collaboration), meaning admins can do this on our own via API. We would like the same type of option/functionality natively in the webapp UI as well.

Add a Folder Viewer role
Along with the current 7 access levels, adding the “folder viewer”level which the user can see ancestral folders(with no access to those folders).
If a collaborator is invited from 2 different sub-folders with the same name, the folder name on the invitee’s first level shows the same. This can confuse users and might cause uploading/editing contents at the wrong destination.
Once this access level is deployed, the collaborator can clarify the root folder without having to confirm its contents.

Download notification when opening a file
Currently. Download notification. Opening a file through Drive, which downloads the file on demand, and does not trigger this notification. For example, user A download a file through Drive, Folder owner B doesn't receive download notification although the folderset download notification in Folder settings. More option for IP whitelisting
Currently, there are 2 options for IP whitelisting which are "webapp only" and "all endpoints". Is it possible to switch "API" as new option? I think "webapp only", "webapp+API", and "all endpoints" are enough options.
There are many enterprises using cloud-based IDP like Azure AD, Okta and Centrify which can implement Auto Provisioning/De-Provisioning using Box API. When "all endpoints" is set, IdP's Auto Provisioning/De-Provisioning fails because they use Box API. Some enterprises are choosing "all endpoint" in Japan for their security reason, so I would appreciate if you could consider this request seriously.

Add toggling of comment and annotation creation
Users want the ability to highlight text and copy-to-clipboard while in Preview mode.
Currently, clicking and dragging results in entering comment-generation mode.
The only workarounds:
1. Enter editing mode (but this may not be possible with all roles, and may risk making unintended changes)
2. View the document full-screen (this is not intuitive).Solution: add a one-click toggle, perhaps on the comment/annotation floating panel, that enables click-and-drag commenting OR disables it so highlight-and-copy can be used.

Box CLI Email Notifications and Folder Settings
We would like to enable upload notifications for select folders, on particular users or groups.
Currently users need to go into each folder's settings to then check the box for upload notifications, or they can select upload notifications in their user settings.
The first option is very time consuming, we have about 140 folders that we would like to target and it is hard to force employee's to complete this.

BoxDrive-like UI for web apps
I want you to change the UI of the web application like Windows Explorer or BoxDrive.
Specifically, I would like the content list screen to be split into two, with the folder list displayed on the left and the contents of the folder displayed on the right.

Cursor leaves folder name field after creating new folder
I've found two bugs in the we-based box app. These have both been happening for a while now... several months at least.
First, when you create a new folder, you can no longer just start typing the name, as the cursor leaves the Folder Name field upon creation of a new folder. Having to click back in the field is a bit of a pain.

Auto sync of Email folders and attachments from Outlook in Box.
It would be nice to have two sync options to store data. 1) the current desktop system is fine and works well but ideally 2) you could have a synch to mirror Outlook email folders and attachments . In both cases the user should be allowed to select which folders would be sync'd. PLEASE HELP. !!! Our company is now moving emails over 6 months old into archive and anything over 1 year old is being deleted . NetSuite - More information on 'Box Record Folder' custom record
In the NetSuite-Box integration (v2) there is a custom record type (Box Record Folder). A record is created for each folder created in Box for each NetSuite record. This record currently contains the following information: NetSuite Record ID, Box Record Folder ID, and NetSuite Record Type. I would like to see more information on this record that would allow useful searches of Box information (via this custom record) without having to create additional Box integrations or scripting inside NetSuite. We have confirmed that when collaborating as a group rather than as a direct collaborator, the content card behaves differently than described in the article.

Push the recommended Hub
In Box Hubs, we would like to have the ability to push high priority Hubs from the admin side.
Currently, users have to click on the "Box Hubs" tab from the left side of the screen to get to each Hub.
The name "Box Hubs" is not intuitive to the average user, so they almost never access it.

Make the Web App WCAG2 Level AA Compliant (eliminate need for a.box separate site)
The current Box Web is not WCAG 2.0 Level AAA compliant currently, meaning users who require accessibility support need to use a.box. This is a subpar solution given that a.box is based on m.box which is missing large amounts of functionality that the full Web App provides.

Google Doc "share" from google.
When using V2 of the box integration with google docs, apparently the ability to "share" the document from google itself, was apparently removed (it shows as available at 1:05 of this box video https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696854-Inviting-Collaborators )
Removing this functionality is not only cumbersome, it creates HUGE potential security issues.

Geographic activity report needs some serious geolocation / ISP attention
For organizations that actually care about their security, they probably find value in the reports Box can generate related to user activity, which includes the useful geographic activity report among others. I had high hopes the geographic activity report would make for a very easy way to screen out a ton of valid activity, leaving just things to investigate. Unfortunately there's several issues I've run into that make it difficult to impossible to easily screen out what is actually valid activity:

When going through pdf files. I don't want to have to always close the fact that the pdf is on two or more pages.
