2. A feature that suggests prompts related to search results

   We want a feature that suggests prompts that make it easier to find search results based on the inputted words.
   We are considering leveraging Box Hubs and AI to use as an FAQ for end users,
   but there are many cases where it is difficult to input specific prompts when asking the AI questions.
   As a result, even though we actually have enough materials to get the desired answers,
   the AI returns a message saying "No related content found,"
   which leads end users to mistakenly believe there are no materials available, preventing them from reaching the necessary answers.
   Example：
   When searching on Google, suggestions appear below the search terms and related keywords are displayed on the right side of the screen. We would like something like this to be displayed.

4. Enhancing MIP Integration: Applying DLP Policy Controls to Box Drive Access

   We use Microsoft's MIP integration (DLP policy application).
   Currently, DLP policy controls are not applied when opening from Box Drive.
   This makes MIP integration pointless and poses security problems.
   It is desirable for DLP policy controls to be applied even when opening from Box Drive.

6. Add PKCE Support for OAuth2 Applications

   Currently, Box requires developers to use a client secret for OAuth 2.0 apps, which in turn requires standing up and maintaining a backend service just to exchange authorization codes securely.

   While this is secure, it creates a huge amount of friction for developers who want to build modern, client-side applications such as single-page apps (SPAs) or mobile apps. In many cases, the only reason a backend exists is to hold a secret, nothing else.

   If Box supported PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange), developers could authenticate directly from the client without needing a backend at all, just as they can with platforms like Microsoft Entra, Google Identity, and Okta.

   This would dramatically reduce time to market, lower costs for developers, and make Box much easier to integrate into modern front-end-first workflows.

   Example Scenario

   A developer wants to build a React-based file manager using Box APIs.
   Under the current model, they must:

   1. Deploy a backend to safely store the client secret.
   2. Manage hosting, scaling, and security for that backend.
   3. Build and maintain the OAuth exchange logic.

   With PKCE, none of that is necessary. The developer could securely authenticate directly from the browser, accelerating development and reducing costs.

7. Enable vertical resizing of the prompt input field (keep the default single-line view)

   Editing long prompts is cumbersome when the input area can’t expand; many of us draft in an external editor and paste the text back. Keeping the default single-line view is fine, but please allow vertical resizing of the input field as needed.

   This change would:
   • Preserve the current UI
   • Significantly improve readability and efficiency for long-prompt editing
   • Increase overall product value by boosting user satisfaction and retention

8. Customizing Sender in Ready Sign Link

   When Box Sign is initiated via Ready Sign Link, the Template Creator currently becomes the Sender of the sign request.

   However, depending on the document or process, we may want the user who initiates the Ready Sign Link to be the Sender. To address this, it would be helpful if the Sender could be customizable when generating the Ready Sign Link (e.g., choose either the Template Creator or the Ready Sign Link Initiator as the Sender).

   As a workaround, we are currently using a Service Account user to create the template, so the Sender appears as something like "ACME Sign Admin."

   When Box Sign is initiated via Ready Sign Link, the Template Creator currently becomes the Sender of the sign request.

   However, depending on the document or process, we may want the user who initiates the Ready Sign Link to be the Sender. To address this, it would be helpful if the Sender could be customizable when generating the Ready Sign Link (e.g., choose either the Template Creator or the Ready Sign Link Initiator as the Sender).

9. Ability to show or hide specific metadata templates for specific users and groups only.

   As the number of metadata templates increases, selecting metadata when creating file request links or Relay workflows can become complicated and lead to mistakes.
   By setting metadata templates that you want to use only for specific users/groups, you can reduce mistakes like this and improve the usability of Box, so We would like to see it implemented.

10. Tasks are visually cluttered by the bolded, capitalized document names. The task should be bolded and capitalized, not the document.

    The document from which the task arises is bolded and in all caps while the task itself is in normal, non-bolded font. This should be flip-flopped so the eye is drawn to the task, not the document.

11. number of files in a folder

    It would be great if, as soon as I upload files to a folder and exit the folder, I could see the number of files I uploaded. Instead, most of the time I need to let a few minutes go by and refresh the page a few times before the number of files is displayed. In the first line of the screenshot, for example, I just uploaded 60 files, but that is not showing yet.

12. view multiple files offline with ios and ipados

    Surely the team is aware of this: when an iPad or iPhone is offline (e.g. in airplane mode), attempting to view a file (e.g. a pdf) downlooaded via "make available offline" hangs indefinitely. If the file is opened while online, and then the device becomes offline, no problem. This means that only one file can be accessed for the duration of the offline period.

    Please raise the priority for fixing this.

16. API to execute and export Box report or notification services to receive alarts when usage is approaching or exceeding the allocated limit.

    We would like to better monitor and manage the number of chargeable API calls, but without relying on manual checks via the Insights dashboard or executing and reviewing the Platform Activity Report (PAR). Instead, we seek a more automated and efficient solution.

    Specifically, we request that Box either:

    Provide a public API to retrieve relevant usage reports, or

    Enhance the existing reporting functionality to allow administrators or designated users to receive alerts when usage is approaching or exceeding the allocated limit.

    This would help ensure appropriate and proactive API usage management.

    Egnyte, one of Box's competitors, gives users the ability to select multiple documents in file explorer to then generate their respective shared links all at once. These links (and the document titles) are then copied to the clipboard and can thus be easily distributed.

18. Support Document Tabs in Google Docs.

    I am a heavy user of Document Tabs [1] to help with my productivity and organization when using Google Docs.

    However, if I create a Google Doc from Box or if I save my Google Doc from Google Drive into Box, the document tabs that I use are removed and the document tab feature is disabled. Because I don't have this feature, I am avoiding the creation of my Google Docs and storing my Google Docs in Box because it is causing a major disruption to my productivity.

19. Box Relay

    Box Relay needs to be able to create a work flow for a parent folder and have it work for all child folders. A user is setting up a simple notification (upload, download) and then sends a notification to a set of users with a message. The user currently has to replicate or create a new Relay for each child folder. Very, very silly to have to waist so much time.
