Remove shares no longer available after the owner was deactivated
We deactivated one user who retired. The folders he owned disappeared in Box Web for the shared users but they didn't disappear in Box drive, so users could still create files which were not saved in Box.
Could deactivated shares be updated very quickly in Box Drive to avoid that behavior please?4 votes -
Box Drive uses all upload bandwidth when sync
Set an option to limit the upload (optional and the download) bandwidth when sync is in progress or upload large files, because when devices are connected to slow internet lines, it consumes the entire bandwidth and cannot work properly.
Note that this is a standad feature of other similar tools.1 vote -

SQ1
I purchased a new Microsoft Surface Pro X and it uses a Microsoft SQ1 processor. Box Drive currently does not work with this processor. As we are rolling out these Surface Pro X's with our company it would be great to get box drive to work with the new SQ1 processor.

Allow Box Drive to be hidden if the computer is being accessed by someone who is not the user (remote login)
Currently, when an IT admin remotely logs into a user's computer, they can access Box Drive (and therefore all of Box) regardless of permissions, and can even download content to their own desktop. This presents a security risk for companies who allow their IT admins to access users' desktops.

Improve way to update lock status of a file
When a file is locked by a user in Box Drive, users who are looking at the same file at that time via web browser will not noticed the file is locked until they refresh the page. We would like to have the lock status updated in a more dynamic manner without the need for a page refresh

Provide direct links for files listed in Problem Items window to the actual files in Box Drive.
When users have a large number of Problem Items (> 10) it can be a pain to find exactly where these Problem Items are. The search function doesn't work well for these files and you can't even copy the name of these files. A direct link to them would be most convenient.

Ability to see who locked a file
identify who locked a file within Box Drive. If there is a file locked, it would be helpful to show the collaborator who has locked the file.

offline files and selective sync
I would like to see the ability to mark files and folders for local or offline storage. Currently box drive allows for only the folder to be marked offline or downloaded locally. When I don't need to have a file downloaded anymore there is not a way for me to mark them offline. I have tried marking the folder offline but that doesn't work to make the files I want offline. Allow Marking Folders as "Move Locked" To Prevent Users From Moving Certain Folders Regardless Of Permissions
Our admins are constantly dealing with users who accidentally drag and drop folders into other folders. This can have a big impact across our org, especially when a high level folder that's shared across the company is moved. Here's a common use case:
We have a top level Projects folder. That folder contains a subfolder for every organization we do business with. Those Organization folders then contain subfolders for individual projects. We do not have a feature on our roadmap to expose this functionality from Box Drive. We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.

Native searching in Box on Windows 10
Previously, you were able to search natively using Box Drive and Box Sync on Windows 7. Windows 10 has been out for a good amount of time now and since Box had an update that removed Box Sync in favor of the Box Drive application, it has become much more difficult to search through thousands of files using the Ctrl+Shift+Alt+B shortcut as this panel does not show as many results as compared to previous versions of Box. I would like to see a feature in Box that will let me search through all my files in Box through File Explorer.

I request that an automatic version update stop function be added.

I'm on a corporate plan with my company. Why does Box keep showing this pop-up message everyday suggesting me to buy more storage?
