Box Note Unlimited Page Width
Right now, the box notes page width is fixed. This is particularly frustrating when creating tables in a box note that needs more than a few columns.
It would be amazing to have the width of the box notes to be unlimited to allow for tables to have many columns

- Currently, the size of PDF files obtained when we scan a document via the Box mobile app, is very large.

Limit the amount of data a user can delete
There have been repeated incidents where users accidentally delete large amounts of data from Box Drive. Each time, administrators are required to restore the data.
However, administrators cannot restore the data until the deletion process is fully completed, and even then, the restoration takes as much time as the deletion, which disrupts business operations.We would like to set an upper limit on the amount of data that users (other than Box administrators and co-administrators) can delete at one time, in order to prevent users from accidentally deleting large amounts of data.

Ability to re-arrange All Files page on Drive, including external folders, for organizational purposes.
We would like to be able to move non-owned and external folders around for organizational purposes on their private Drive, without impacting the actual external/owner of the folder. For example: Company X shared Folder A with me at Company Y. I would like to move Folder A to my Company X folder in Drive so it's not clogging my All Files page (without this impacting Company X's folder).

box sync ignore files
Are you kindly considering adding a feature to skip / ignore certain paths (directories, files) stored on local machine from syncing? Some examples of situations where inability to exclude files from backup causes undesired issues: 1) There are programs which store temporary files among synced folders. These temporary files frequently change and are deleted on program exit, which results into frequent unnecessary synchronization and deletion of files in cloud, therefore waste of computing resources and bandwidth. 2) Specific program creates empty file "running" to indicate it's in running state. Owner off documents/folder can set it to be edited with online apps only
Allow anyone who creates a folder or document (not just the company/enterprise) to set if a document can be downloaded, or if it is editable only in the online version (ie: Microsoft office online). Being able to download, edit, and save causes a lot of problems with different versions coming into existence! We have box drive, box edit, box for outlook, etc enabled, and it's causing problems for multi-user documents.

Allow One-Off Reissue of Custom Terms of Service in Box
If a user ever rejects a custom terms of service, they are not able to access Box or attempt to connect via the collaboration link. It seems that they could try again in 30 days (we have not tested, this is way too long to wait for a time-out).
The only resolution to allow the single external collaborator to "reset" the ToS and accept them to sign in is to disable and re-enable custom ToS for all users.
This is a major problem - we should not have to revalidate all ToS for EVERY user to resolve an issue for…

Insert date and time fields in Box Notes
My office would like to use Box notes to log certain informal client interactions. We would like to create a customized Box note template for this, and we need it to include automatic current date and time field in the note header (i.e. individual note creation date and time) -- similar to the generic stock template provided by Box. However, there is currently no way to insert automatic creation date and time fields in a custom Box note template header. This should be an easy and useful enhancement.”

Enhance Custom Applications for large enterprises
Concerning "Custom Applications" (Admin Console-->Enterprise Settings-->Apps-->Custom Applications), the limits enforced by Box are entirely too low for a large enterprise.
--The dashboard for Custom Applications shows "22 of 25 App User licenses used". However, I only see 10 listed on the page. When I click the arrow icon to advance to page 2, I then see two more. So I can only view 12 of the 22 apps.
--When I click the 3-dot icon to the right of one of the apps to view the menu of actions, then click one of the actions, the view re-positions to the Box…

Reflect Power Point page number settings in Box preview
When page numbers are inserted in Power Point starting from the slide following the cover page and the slide start number is set to 0, there is a difference in the page numbers when viewed from the Power Point desktop application and when previewed in Box.
In the Power Point app, the slide on the page following the cover page has a page number of 1, but in the Box preview screen it is 2.There is no workaround for users invited with previewer or shared via a view-only shared link, as they cannot edit or download.

BoxDrive app for Windows better error messages visible to users
We are trying to troubleshoot BoxDrive connectivity issues and the only error it generates now is "Verify that you are connected to the internet and restart Box Drive". This error is not specific enough to start the troubleshooting process. BoxDrive for Windows needs to have a better error messages shown to the users if it's an issue with network connectivity, user authentication or any other issue.

Feature to Search Including Past Versions with Box AI
Box AI for Document can only provide answers from the latest version of the stored content.
For example, if someone other than yourself updates a document you created the previous day, you would need to manually open each version of the file and visually check for changes, which is time-consuming and may lead to missing unnoticed changes. It would be convenient if Box AI could extract only the sections with changes by comparing with past versions.We would like to see an enhancement in the AI's capabilities to retrieve data from past histories and provide answers.

In the Box Web browser, I can confirm that the new mention is on the left side menu "notifications" with red ● when new notifications appear. We'd like to have those notifications within Box for EMM too.

Ability to select BoxEdit even when Box for Microsoft Office co-editing is enabled.
When Box for Microsoft Office co-editing is enabled, microsoft office files cannot be edited in Box Edit.
However, there are use cases where we may not want to co-edit.
Even if the Box for Microsoft Office co-editing feature is enabled, we want to choose whether or not we want to edit in Box Edit.

Use Box Group as a Signer of Box Sign and only one user from it needs to sign
I would like to use Box Group as a signer of Box Sign.
In addition, I only need one user from that group to sign it.The use case we have is when someone from a specific department needs to approve the document but it can be approved by anyone from that department.

Box Shield threat detection email alerts to include complete details
Include complete incident information with the thread detection email alerts. This will make it easy to share the information with others who do not have access to Box Shield admin portal, and will also eliminate an extra step of logging into admin portal for those receiving and triaging the alerts.
Use case: infosec team receives a Box Shield malicious content alert, identifies it as needing action, and passes it to the endpoint management team for mitigation.19 votes -

Box-Netsuite Bundle
For the Netsuite/Box bundle, it would be better to not require the user to choose whether to create a Box folder or use the default on each folder. This should be a setting that the administrator can choose.

Syncing calendar to box
We have an outlook account and a work calendar that I schedule weeks in advance. It would be great to have a way that I can link the calendar to box so that all in the company can have access to the calendar at any given moment
