view group members without having other permissions
Need the ability to let users view the members of a group without being able to add the group to folders. We have several requests to do this, but changing the View permission from Admin only needs to be separate from 'sharing'.

Metadata field for a user name - ability to @mention or tie a metadata field to a specific user
Similar to comments or tasks, it would be helpful to be able to autofill and insert a user's name in a metadata field.
There are a lot of use cases here, e.g. establishing the content owner since oftentimes that is different from the folder owner and not easily discernible or searchable.
Current workaround would be to use the text metadata field, which leaves room for user error, typos, or using different variations on people's names. A dropdown list helps with that but isn't a feasible option if you're choosing from a large set of users.

Today, I can transfer ownership of a single workflow or re-assign a single task from one person to another, but if someone goes on vacation, is sick, or leaves the company and they own multiple workflows or have multiple tasks assigned to them, then today we cannot group these together and transfer them all at once. Instead, we have to transfer workflow ownership and re-assign tasks one-by-one-by-one-by-one-by-one......

Allow email notifications for users within a Group
Enable email notifications for users within a group, specifically when they're invited to a folder. Right now, no email is sent as the invitation is automatically accepted. We would like the users to know when they've been added to a new folder

Relay：Users who have already been invited in a group will not be invited with "Invite assignees as Viewers/Editors"
[Background]
A new feature has been added to Relay called "Invite assignees as Virwers/Editors".
"Invite assignees as Virwers/Editors" are sent to users who have already been invited in the group.
This is confusing because additional invitations are carried out to users who have already been invited.
Furthermore, operationally, this requires the collaboration to be removed from the relevant file each time.
*As a company rule, we are not allowed to collaborate with individuals individually, except in groups to which they have been previously invited by Admin.[Request]

Customize mobile usage by group
Actually it is just possible to customize usage of mobile devices for the complete enterprise. But different group may have different needs (e.g. Sales may use mobile applications, while R&D may not use any mobile device at all).

We released an improvement to the Groups UI to allow the full group and folder names to be displayed. Long group and folder names will now wrap to subsequent lines so you will not have to hover over each group or folder name to view the full name.

Would be great to be able to add a group of collaborators “Add Collaborator” outcome. Right now only single users are accepted as input.

add the dependencies of a shared folder/file to a group
When U share a file/folder with a group in the group sharing management into the admin console, You don't watch the dependencies and that may become a problem when you share a folder which is named as an existing one.
To better undertand the situation:
Imagine U have a template for a project. Every time You create a new project, You going to use the same template with the same structure. So, every time U share a folder with a group for a new project (i.e PURCHASE), U will watch a list of PURCHASE folders but no information from which…2 votes -
add dynamically a folder to a group
When a structure of folders is created as a template, it would be cool when this template is copied and if a at least one group is affected to automatically add this new folder to the group.
Now you have to go to the admin console to manually add it and it's wasted time and not very efficient. Maybe also get the possibility to do it through relay.1 vote -
All Managed Users Group - Making Sharing with the Company Easy
We have multiple folders (employee resources) we share with everyone in the Company (all managed users). It would be great if there was a way to share the folder with all managed users, whether this is accomplished from an "all managed users" group or if there was another way to share with everyone within the company (all managed users).
With the introduction of Box Hubs, we have multiple hubs we would like to share with all managed users. Hubs is the perfect forum for sharing HR, company documents, technical resources, and other information the entire company needs to access.

Ability to add a group of users to feed
We cannot add a group of users to the list of authorized users for Feed.

Unable to see folders users have access to through Group invitations
A group is given access to a folder on Box (ie Project A). When the admin views what folders a specific user in Project A has access to, it does not show the collaborated folder for Project A

Add description field to defaul group view
I would like an more user friendly way to determine the identity of a synced group from Entra. I am wary of renaming them, as my guess is they are being matched with the Entra directory using the value in name field. I have no easy way of choosing a group to work on without opening them from the top until I see the added info in the description column. It would be nice to see that on the default list view.

Allow group administrators of SSO-enabled tenants to change the email addresses of group members

Group and filter migration jobs
Currently it's possible to sort migration jobs and filter by status, but it'd be helpful to be able to group jobs and filter by other criteria.
This would be specially useful for larger migrations with dozens of jobs and could avoid mistakes when using the UI (e.g., starting/stopping a job by mistake because the list is too long).1 vote
