Granular Security Controls on the Box API
We wish to implement fine-grained security controls on the API which is integrating with our SSPM – at the moment the permissions are Manage and for integration to our SaaS Security Posture Management service we just require Read.
Request is to allow the following the ability to toggle to Read only

IP address restriction setting in admin console
We would like to be able to configure IP address restriction setting in admin console.
It cannot be set up IP address restriction without a service request to product support.

Allow Co-Amins viewer access to claimed domains
Allow Co-Admins the ability to at the very least have viewer access in Enterprise Settings to see the claimed domains on their account. Currently our company has hundreds of domains, and having to ask the Admin to verify which domains have been claimed in our account is very frustrating and time consuming.

Prompt to Setup Biometrics when a Passcode is Set
When a passcode is set, Box Mobile should automatically ask the user if they want to use biometrics to unlock Box. Most applications already do this and most users will never go into settings and enable biometrics because they don't realize that is an option.

Merging Content of two Folders with Same Name and Same files
Merging the Content of two Folders with the same name and the same files gives the option of overwriting the destination or not. This will be very useful if you have duplicate content and want to save time and storage.

Removing co-owners from view of external clients
Removing co-owners from view of external clients. Currently all owners & cowners will show under collaborators in BOX folders - meaning external clients can see all who is listed and will email all individuals, including executives. There is a feature to hide this from anyone who is not an owner, but that would mean that managed users/internal staff would also not see these.

Compress to zip format on Box web
To compress a file or folder on Box, you must download it first.
I wish there was a way to compress files directly from Box Web without having to download them.(in Japanese)

Exclude file movement in Box Drive from Box shield's anomalous download detection
When I move a folder with multiple files stored in Box Drive, Box Shield's anomalous download detection works.
Since the purpose of the detection of anomalous download is to detect downloads that are taken out of the system, this specification is not the behavior we are looking for.
Therefore, I would like to see Box Shield exclude moving files in Box Drive from the detection of anomalous download.In Japanese：

Improve Confirm Box Move prompt text to clarify
When a large folder operation is triffered (eg when a box folder with large number of subfolders and documents is moved or copied), a popup appears as follows:
Title: Confirm Bulk Move; Box logo; text: "You moved 'folder-name' with 'number' items to the 'folder-name' . Due to the large volume of items this will take several hours to sync to Box. Allow Admins to Recover Deleted Users Directly
Occasionally, Admins can delete a user (or large group of users) for one reason or another (license re-allocation, deleting users based off of perceived inactivity, etc.). Sometimes these users need to be recovered quickly to give users access to their Box account once again if this was done by mistake. Removing "Required" setting from File Request
I’d like to remove the “required” setting from File Requests.
For example, suppose a File Request has two upload links, A and B.
Documents need to be uploaded to A and B at different times.
However, the current setup requires at least one upload link to be mandatory, which prevents uploading to A and B at separate times.
While creating separate File Requests for A and B would solve this issue, if the number of documents increases (e.g., A, B, C, D, E...), it could confuse the uploader. That’s why I’d prefer to consolidate everything into a single File Request.

Allow us to put some sort of "Official" Badge on Hubs
Admins should be able to mark official company Hubs to distinguish them from Hubs that organically appear due to team needs. While the latter is great, it would be nice to be able to pin/mark Leadership or HR hubs, for example, to the top of the gallery.

Currently Box Hubs(beta version) doesnot support Box Drive, hopefully support Box Drive as well.

Report export function for active/inactive status of file request links
File request links, when created, edited, or deleted, appear in the user activity report, but not in the active or inactive status.
We are considering asking users to deactivate them for security integrity or to force deactivation of those that have been inactive for a period of time.
However, we cannot determine from the list of file requests in the management console whether all the information is visible.
Without an export function, some links will remain inactive for long periods of time.

Keyboard navigation between tools
It would be great if the user could switch between tools with the press of a single key on their keyboard.
Some tools like excalidraw / figma implement this navigation in such a way that you can select Pen, Line or Arrow by simply typing their first letter. This helps a lot to speed up the drawing process4 votes -
Inline comments as Trigger in BOX relay workflow
Currently there is no BOX Relay template to start the workflow with Inline comments as File event. It would be great if there is a template for it or if there is an Inline comment option as File Event in BOX Relay workflow.

View Folder structure
Currently, BOX admins can view the Folder structure in user's account with new Content manager. It will be better if End user can also see their Folder structure in BOX Webapp.

Pop-up feature to prevent conflicts when editing files
When multiple people modify a file using BoxEdit, conflicts can create multiple files with the same content, each with a file name like (1), making it difficult to determine which file contains the correct and latest information.
We understand that using the lock function can prevent this, but many users have difficulty using the lock function.
I would like a pop-up that says “Someone is editing the file, would you like to edit it? If you continue to edit the file, it may cause inconsistencies in the file” pop-up, and I would like to be able to edit the file…1 vote
