Enable option for non-Admins to be notified about Box Shield Threat Detection.
E.g. Owner of folder is also notified. Today, only Co-Admins can get Box Shield Threat Detection notifications.

Shorten/Remove "Copy Link" Delay
There is often a delay when copying links to multiple files/folders in Box. As a result, one link may not be successfully copied even after the green "Copied" notification appears.

Dashboards - Enhanced (and Exportable) Dashboards in Admin Console
This request is for enhanced dashboards inside the Admin Console, specifically:
1. Exportable dashboards
2. Customizable - add options to choose custom date ranges, etc.
3. Allow for a 'double click' into the charts to see far more information - for example, don't just show me the top 5 users by storage total (like we do now) -- also allow me to 'double click' on that chart to see my top 100 or 500 even.1 voteWe intend to improve the Insights dashboard to provide more interactivity and customization. We will be working on the prerequisites to enable those improvements this year and will revisit these suggestions once they have been completed.

RELAY Notifications
Relay can alert on new collaborators to a folder. Relay cannot distinguish external vs managed user. It would be a plus if on certain folders you can choose to ignore if the collaborator is a managed user. So only alerts for external collaborators get sent.

We have 700+ users. There should be an easy way that an admin or co-admin can notify everyone.
Example: say we need to do some maintenance and would like to notify all of our users. Right now I was told the only way to do this is to email everyone or share a link with everyone. With over 700+ users that would be a LOT of emailing or sharing. Can you please create a way we can send out a notification to our whole enterprise?

Using Box for Salesforce on Salesforce Knowledge
Salesforce Knowledge is useful for service organizations for keeping internal and external customers up-to-date on the latest support items.
Box for Salesforce is a great way to manage assets related to specific Salesforce records and keep things organized.
Making Box for Salesforce available on Salesforce Knowledge would save space, apply the same asset organization and save on Salesforce storage space.
This would be different than the Box Community app which allows you to preview a specific Box file on a page.

Install Box Sync on PC using existing Box Sync folder
You have a published workaround here:
This only describes how to download the Box Sync data all over again. I do not have high-speed internet, so this would take weeks to do.
All I did was change out my storage drive. All of the Box Sync data was copied exactly, so all 50GB of data is still there. I just need to have it see that the files in the current folder are the same (you can use the filename, location, and file size). Box for Microsoft Office co-authoring permissions per folder
I propose the ability to change the setting for each folder regarding whether or not Box co-authorship is enabled.
With the current Box for office co-authoring feature, all folders have the coauthoring feature turned on.

Enable Fast Push Notifications for Metadata Changes.
Nationwide is a platform customer who is customizing Box’s UI elements to support a new version of their Claim Center application. One of their usecases requires nearly instantaneous notification for metadata updates. The Event Stream is not an appropriate source because of the delay associated in parsing.
This functionality would 100% be used by Nationwide.

DLP
When copying content from Box Drive to an external volume, Sophos DLP is unable to capture information about this event.
According to the Sophos team, this is a result of Box Drive relying on a legacy file system filter driver, CBFS.
It is suggested that Box update Box Drive to work with Windows file system minifilter drivers as opposed to CBFS. That way DLP could monitor and capture these events.

Prevent duplicate compliance emails
The ability to archive compliance emails helps us comply with our company's email archiving policy.
However, due to known issues with Box's notification service, compliance emails often arrive in duplicate or never arrive.
This issue will be resolved when the Box notification service is migrated to a new one, but compliance emails are more important than other notifications and waiting for the notification service to migrate would take too long and have too great a business impact.
Please fix this issue as soon as possible in order to ensure governance.（In Japanese）

Request to suppress collaborator invitation emails.
When needing to invite a single user into multiple files and subfolders within a given folder, but not into all files in that specific folder, we'd like to see a way to suppress the email notifications that are automatically sent to that user each time the collaborator invitation is sent.
Currently there is no way to choose to not have the email notifications go out and then it inundates the user's inbox.

Inserting metadata tags for subject line and message fields within Relay
Within Relay, being able to dynamically populate the metadata fields within the email notifications.
An example use case is for lease renewal. We have a metadata template for the leases. One of the metadata fields is property name. One of the steps in the workflow would be to assign a task to execute the lease renewal for a specific property which is triggered by lease renewal date. Bounceback sent to admin when they send an email to noreply@box.com
When a comment is added to a file in Box a notification is sent to an end user from the email "noreply@box.com" If that recipient then replied to the email would the bounce back of being "undelivered" be controlled by Box or the admins email?
End users are currently not receiving a bounce back email and therefore unaware their comments are not being delivered so our admin is missing out on comments.

Folders to which only managed users can be invited

Regarding the "Restrict collaboration to within {OrganizationName}" setting in the folder settings,
I would like the definition of users recognized as users in the organization to be selectable from the following two options
・Users who have same domains OR Managed Users (Same as current specifications)
・Only Managed Users【Current specifications ＆ Issues】

Users don't get email notifications for assigned tasks unless they're in the folder
Users don't get email notifications for tasks in Relay unless they're collaborators in that folder. It doesn't always make sense for the users to be collaborators and this can add clicks to the Relay experience. Because of this, users that rely on Box Drive don't get notified that tasks have been assigned to them unless they log into the web app to check.
Can users get email notifications when they've been assigned a task in a workflow regardless of whether they're collaborators in the folder?

Admin Insight User Activity of Hubs
We strongly request the addition of admin insights regarding user activity in the hubs. While we can see the number of people viewing each hub in the gallery, we lack detailed information about their engagement.
Content insights(the contents in each hub) provide us with information about activities, but they are insufficient because not everyone who opens a hub previews each file.1 vote
