   Custom Columns (with sort) for Users and Groups

   The current Admin console defaults to the below columns with no way to customize for better productivity:
   Name
   Email
   User ID
   Role
   Status
   Storage Used

   This request would allow the Main admin account to customize which columns are displayed while looking at your Users and Groups page. These custom column choices can be chosen from the custom Tags (which are already a feature). Allowing important information to be seen at a glance rather than having to go into each user to get additional pertinent information.
   Some examples of custom columns may be:
   - Cost Center
   - Legal Hold
   - VIP

2. approve TOS via Salesfotce integration

   you cant approve TOS through the SF integration. you get the notification, they you click agree, then there is a white screen and nothing happens.... then you need to approve again.
   looks like a bug.
   you can only approve via webapp.
   very frustratins

   you should have same capabilities via the SF integration as we get on webapp.

3. Allow resizeable/full-screen file search form

   Actually the file search UX in Windows has a design giving priority to form over function, with a concept half-way resembling a tray application notification.

   The problem with that is that the ridiculous window size most of the time trims relatively long file paths to the point of having on-screen indistinguishable search results for different files, if they are at somewhat deepth in the file tree. The smallnes brings also unnecesary scroll, and forces the pains of a self imposed real-state screen-space shortage, more proper of mobile devices but undesirable in desktop.

   Let file search have the first class interface power users demand to handle huge collections of files of tens of gigabytes.

4. Let sender sign documents created with Ready-Sign Links

   Ready-sign links are a great feature, but we need the ability for senders be able to also sign a document that is created with a Ready-Sign link.

   For example, if I have a Mutual NDA setup in a Ready-Sign link, I want others to be able to quickly sign this. BUT I also need to sign it myself as the sender.

   This would ideally be accomplished by letting me "sign" the document at the time I create it. Or alternatively when someone signs the NDA at the Ready-Sign link, then I am emailed a notification that is ready for me to sign/execute.

   Ready-sign links are a great feature, but we need the ability for senders be able to also sign a document that is created with a Ready-Sign link.

5. File Request Notifications when the folder owner is the admin on silent mode

   We are aware that users can get notifications for uploads done via File Request Link - However, these notifications are based off the folder owner.

   Some enterprises have silent mode enabled on the admin, which suppresses the admin activity. If the admin is the owner of the folder, no notifications will be sent for these file request uploads.

   We would like to request a way or setting for the uploads done via file request link, to send a notification - regardless of silent mode.

   We released a new outcome called “Send notifications” which solves for this request.

6. Enable File Upload Notifications Programmatically

   Ability to turn on File Upload Notifications when programmatically creating a File Request. https://developer.box.com/reference/resources/file-request/

   This update allows users to do this manually but the API cannot turn on these notifications.

7. Streamline process of adding collaborators to content

   Our users often create their own personal folders and then attempt to share them with their colleagues via shared links. If their colleague has not been added to the file/folder as a collaborator, they will hit a page that says "This shared file or folder has been removed or is unavailable to you." They will then email/message the content owner to request access and/or ask if they have the wrong link. This creates a lot of ad-hoc messages and emails.

   It would be great if there was some kind of real-time notification process wherein the content owner was prompted to extend access to the user who was attempting to access the file (ideally, via pop-up). Or, a button for the user to proactively request access to the content, which would trigger an in-app notification for the content owner.

8. View Owner/Creator of Files in Box Drive

   We would like the ability to display accurate information about the Owner/creator of files within Box Drive for Windows. The Owner column in Windows was used prior to our migration to Box to show who originally created the file for a folder all in a single glance. Although Box.com shows the upload history of individual files, it's a manual process of viewing each file-- a pain point-- compared to the table view of File Explorer with the Owner column displaying. Currently, within Box Drive/File Explorer, the Owner column is empty. This would be useful for the users to know who to contact regarding the files.

   (Side note: Our migration to Box from file shares has modified the Owner of files to be 'Box Admin', altering the accuracy of what the users want to see -- the original creator of the file. The last Uploader in Box.com is the closest thing to what the users want to see but it is not exactly the same. )

9. Setting to be notified when a specific file, folder, or note is modified.

   We have a team that needs to be notified when a Note is modified. They are using comments to achieve this. It would be a great setting option to receive notifications on modifications to a specific file, folder or note.
   Please let me know if there is a solution for this that I am not aware of.

10. Access Box AI via search bar. Generate Box AI insights from ALL internal Box content that I have permission to, not just individual files

    E.g. we have years of contracts and legal research on a variety of different issues - articles, contract templates, white papers, screenshots, etc.

    We would like to have Box AI trained on our own research and contracts, that can help generate contract clauses - like, "based on our own data, generate a warranty provision for a client that operates a SaaS data storage service" with a result that provides suggestions and Box links back to the documents where it found those suggestions.

    I believe there are legal tech companies rushing to create these kinds of legal tools, but we wanted to explore if Box AI would satisfy that basic scenario right from the source.

11. Upon folder upload via web or Drive, if any files fail due to file/path name limit, provide a list of those files

    When a file path exceeds 255 characters, the file would in some circumstances (e.g on Windows), fail from upload. When an entire folder is moved, there is no way of knowing if or how many files may have failed to upload. This is due to OS limitation, but a Box notification or a report could at least allow a manual transfer or shortening the names of the impacted files.

12. Error notification of Box Drive should be restricted only be related to files which the user has accessed or edited before.

13. Notifications of login activity sent by email should state the timezone used

    Emails with login activity sent by Box are not in the local time and the actual timezone is not stated. I have been advised by Box these notifications are in Pacific Time. It would be useful if timezones could be identified in emails sent by Box - when trying to determine if there have been illegitimate logins, knowing the correct time is critical.

15. Add New Trigger under Signing Events for "Reassign Request"

    There are times when our users would like a recipient, who is not part of the signing chain, added as a CC if a document is reassigned to a different signer. It would be nice to have a new trigger option under Relay/Workflow /Signing Events for "Reassign Request" where, if a document is reassigned, we could add an Outcome that would Send a Notification to a particular acct.

16. Request File Marked Malicious Error in Box Web App UI and api

    Constant monitoring the "enterprise events adminlogs" for FILEMARKEDMALICIOUS events is not feasible for our application. Request is to add filemarkedmalicious error, similar to filesizelimitexceeded error, so that the user the can be instantly notified of potential problem at file upload time for best user experience.

    Instant notification is available today in our application, without this ability our users would see a degradation in their app experience.

19. SSO multi-zone assignment through Box Drive log in

    We have an enterprise initiative to start leveraging Box drive through our file share migration to Box. The usage is expected to be high within our enterprise since we are working towards enabling Box as an enterprise level application. Since we are a global company, we have requirements regarding data residency and data location within Box. While Zones provide that functionality, through our testing we found the Zone assignment doesn't change when the login is initiated from Box Drive, it only changes when you log through Web UI.
    Although the workaround is pretty obvious and have people log in through the web UI once the location will be set but when we scale that into a large subset of users, the management overhead to make sure everyone is assigned correctly Zone, will be considerably high.

    A simple way to accomplish this is to add the functionality of allowing Multi-Zones assignments to be driven from Box Drive log in as well as through the Web UI log in.
