Governance Download Policy settings to be conditional upon defined working hours.
Only > 3 standard deviations notifications during working hours (i.e. >37 downloads in 1 hour, therefore a high setting for low sensitivity)
Anything >1 standard deviation during non-working hours (i.e. a low setting, or high sensitivity)

BCC E-mail to Archive is Insufficient as an eDiscovery feature
The BCC E-mail to Archive feature cannot be used for eDiscovery if users disable their e-mail notifications, as the feature only works if an email is sent to users.
As a result, this control cannot be relied upon by organizations and introduces a gap in control.
We require this functionality for our compliance/legal requirements.

Detection and blocking of distribution lists
We use many distribution lists to communicate.
Technically, Box does not stop you from adding a distribution list email as a collaborator to a folder. All members of the list get email notifications but access to the folder is not granted to anyone on the list. This is expected.
This suggestion is merely a protection measure that can be addressed by user education, so it may have a low impact.
0 votesThis is an interesting request and likely something we should look into for future improvements to how we handle distribution lists.
Because there’s a workaround and we have higher impact requests, we will table this suggestion for now.

Web App: Grey-out "Allow users to join as" setting when blocked via admin console.
We have many users who have opened up tickets or ask questions in regards to the folder setting “Allow anyone who can access this folder from a shared link to join as a collaborator. Allow users to join as.”
This option is disabled, yet unlike the other options which are disabled, this is not greyed out. It throws a non-descript error of “Sorry, there was a problem saving the settings for this folder” which leads users to believe there is an issue with their access level, rather than this is not current functionality. Can we please have this option greyed…
