Allowing Admins to Edit Multiple Users' Notification Settings at the Same Time
It would be great if we could change multiple External Users' email notification settings at the same time.

Action taken in Box to trigger notification to other programs
Outcomes that call out to other systems. E.g.: our marketing team would want a Slack notification every time something gets uploaded to their “review” Box folder and other similar things.

Storage and processing to be brought in region, specifically for the Australian region. This is a regulatory requirement for certain Government and Financial Services institutions.

Notification function when a conflict occurs when editing a file
Files are locked when edited from Box Drive by users who have co-authoring enabled.
However, it takes time for the lock to take effect, which can lead to file conflicts if another user edits the file first.BoxDrive and BoxEdit normally notify you when a file conflict occurs, but unfortunately users who have enabled the collaborative editing feature do not receive the notification that a conflict has occurred.

Email Notifications for Viewers
Users are able to set their email notification in the folder options. However, if you have "viewer" access, you are not able to select these notifications for uploads. You must have "editor" access to do so.
We have groups with "Viewer" access as they shouldn't need to edit files in the said directory, however they should be notified when a new file has been uploaded.
The only solution box support provided was to turn on the upload notification in the user settings for all of their files. This would be counterproductive as the clutter of notifications for all…

Trigger E-mail notification for annotation comments
Currently, Box does not send E-mail notifications when a reviewer uses Annotation tools such as Markup, Comment on Region, and Highlight and Comment options, unless our name is mentioned. It would be beneficial if Box could send E-mail notifications even when our names are not mentioned in annotations.
While Annotations are excellent for adding comments, not receiving e-mail notifications for these comments is a drawback. Please consider implementing this feature.4 votes -
Save Microsoft Teams Recordings to Box
When recording a call/meeting in Microsoft Teams, it defaults to using OneDrive as it's default storage. Currently the process of saving a recording is a manual process of downloading the recording, and uploading to Box. I'd like an option to default recording data to Box instead.

Update "Box login from..." email notification
When I access Box from a new browser or device, I get "Box Login from...." email notification from Box.
Within the email body, it said "You can manage your login activity list from the Security tab and your notifications from the Notifications tab of your Account Settings." but there is no "Notifications" tab under user Account settings.
Instead there is a "Sharing" tab under which there is a section for "General Emails and Notifications". Could you please fix the wording with in the email notification body to reflect the correct tab and section. It helps…

Display Notification for Blocked Uploads to Uploading User
When creating your own Content Security policies for uploads it would be really helpful to be able to create a notification that would be displayed to an uploading user. The notification would be able to be configured by an admin user to explain the reason for why a file upload was prevented.
Without these types of notifications we have users who may upload files and then needless work exists to find out which user uploaded a file type we do not accept to then notify the end user that the file type is not acceptable and then have the…

Customize Upload Policy Email Notifications
Ability to add customized logos, hyperlinks, and change the text of the notification email so it makes more sense for our organization.
As the notification stands now, it's generic and we want to make it more descriptive.

Show number of unread notification on left menu bar
In the past, users were given the number of unread notification they have on the left menu bar. This has now been replaced by a red badge. We would prefer to have the number display so it is more accessible.

Display more information in Upload Error message in Box Drive
It would be helpful to have more information shared in the Upload Error notification that’s displayed for admins when a user tries to upload content to a folder that has run out of storage. It would be helpful for the error message to display information such as account name, email, or login of the user. Currently, if an organization imposes storage quotas for their users, admins will receive this message anytime a user tries to upload content to a full folder. Please create navigation to split "shared with me" files and folders from my own files and folders, similar to OneDrive.
Please, please, create a separate view on the web to just showcase files and folders that are shared with me; rather than files/folders that are of my ownership. Similar to what other file storage providers offer, like OneDrive.

Email Notification for specific documents or tags
In the current version of the Box product, there is no feature available to notify a user or a user group for that matter, of any uploads of specific file types or specific tags on files.
We would like for our users to be able to be notified of uploads of specific files in a given folder instead of being inundated with notification emails for every upload done in a folder.

Notification on task assignment not supported in API
Currently there is no option to send a user an email notification when they are assigned a task via API. This is an unexpected gap, as an email will be sent when the task is assigned manually in the UI, and there are few indications that the same will not be true for programmatically assigned tasks.

If users log in from "Microsoft Edge", send them a notification saying “Box login from "Microsoft Edge".
Users receive the notification mail of login activity saying “Box login from "Windows Chrome" even though he login from “Microsoft Edge“. It should say "Box login from "Microsoft Edge"
