Using folder hierarchy to reduce number of shared folders
It would be great if Box could group by the parent folder if a user is shared more folders from the same parent folder example if i had the following folders
- Projects -> Project A -> Project B -> Project C
If I shared Project A and Project C with a user, it would be better if they saw the following
- Projects -> Project A -> Project C
However if i just share Project A then they would only see this.
This would save having a huge number of folders in the Root of each users account.

Admin Messaging to all Users
Currently, there is no way to send a mass message to all users in an enterprise. It will be great to be able to send a message about an upcoming maintenance or upcoming feature users can look forward to or certain changes that may be coming directly from Box.

Trigger E-mail notification for annotation comments
Currently, Box does not send E-mail notifications when a reviewer uses Annotation tools such as Markup, Comment on Region, and Highlight and Comment options, unless our name is mentioned. It would be beneficial if Box could send E-mail notifications even when our names are not mentioned in annotations.
While Annotations are excellent for adding comments, not receiving e-mail notifications for these comments is a drawback. Please consider implementing this feature.4 votes -
Allow Excel to open "Export Users" report (csv) without worrying about garbled characters
Admin Console > Users&Groups > Managed Users > Export Users
Please change "Export Users" report to the format of the UTF8 csv file with BOM
The format of the "Export Users" report has been changed to csv.
Therefore, when you import it into Excel as it is, the characters will be garbled.The workaround now:
We change it to csv file with UTF8 BOM in a text editor now before importing it into Excel.However, this workaround would required few extra steps before importing it into Excel.

bulk edit
I would like you to add the "Notification Email" item to "Bulk Edit".
It would be very helpful to add "Notification Email" to the items in Bulk edit in "Admin Console> Users & Groups> Bulk edit".
If the administrator can register the settings of the notification e-mails of the managed users by bulk editing, the efficiency of the administrator will increase, and the security of the

Allow api.box.com in Box Connectors for HTTPS Request steps in Automate workflows
Please allow the HTTPS Request step in Box Automate to make requests to the Box API (api.box.com).
There are many things not currently supported natively by Box Automate steps which could be solved if the HTTPS Request step/outcome were allowed to consume the Box API.
For example:
- generate Box access tokens
- get file EXIF data from Box representations API
- lock files
- create shared links
- get number of files in a folder
- get file path
- create shared link passwords
- applying metadata cascade policies

Is there a way to make comments on MBox folders private/directed toward specific individuals in an MBox group without seen by others?
I am part of a team that uses MBox to securely upload and view videos of infants who are identified at risk of adverse neurodevelopmental conditions to conduct a standardized assessment on each infant. Typically, when team members upload videos of their patients, we have to send multiple emails in order to a) notify the team that a new video has been uploaded and b) respond to the individual who uploaded the video to offer feedback/scoring. Integration with Shutterfly: Ability to send photos of build progression to Shutterfly
I work for a swimming pool company. We are taking pictures as the pool is being built. Once the pool is completed, we would like to send 20 to 40 pictures, as a group, to Shutterfly to have them create a picture book for our customers.

Enable Admins to Recover Deleted Users Without Submitting Support Tickets
Occasionally, Admins can delete a user (or large group of users) for one reason or another (license re-allocation, deleting users based off of perceived inactivity, etc.). Sometimes these users need to be recovered quickly to give users access to their Box account once again if this was done by mistake. Candidate destinations are not displayed when inviting files to collaborate(Box for iOS)
Box for iPhone/iPad and Box for EMM don't offer suggested recipients when you invite collaborators to a file.
When inviting a collaboration to a folder, a list of possible recipients is displayed. Please do the same in the mentioned app.

Support mapping a single Microsoft Entra ID tenant to multiple Box enterprises (MPIP–Box Shield label integration)
Request: Allow a single Microsoft Entra ID tenant to be connected to multiple Box enterprises, so that MPIP sensitivity labels can be mapped to Box Shield classifications in each of them.
Background：Currently, the MPIP sensitivity label to Box Shield classification integration can only be established between one Microsoft Entra ID tenant and one Box enterprise (1:1).

Add length of field to API documentation
It would be nice to explicitly mention the length of some of the fields. In our enterprise account all the users had 10-digit UIDs, so I thought that was the standard length, but we had some users with preexisting lite accounts rolled in and a few of them had 8-digit or 9-digit UIDs. I see now that the example UID provided had 9 digits, so my bad there, but I initially just looked at the 'id' attribute under 'user object' to try and find the length and it would be nice I think to have something like 'id / string…
1 voteThanks for the suggestion. We generally don’t provide lengths for fields unless there is a concious decision to define a specific length or range as a contract. Given that the type of field for user id is a string, the fact that user id values ranged from 8-10 digits is an implementation detail, not a guarantee.

Add Bulk Files to a Hub
Currently, adding files to a Hub requires each file to be selected individually. Being able to drag a group of files from Box Drive would be really helpful, or some sort of a "Select All" button so that all files within a Box folder could be selected simultaneously.

Full path to the file in notification e-mails
I'd like to ask for adding full path to the file (especialy first level) in notification e-mails to use Outlook rules. Starting this year everybody is a member of many BOX groups - less or more important. It would be very usefull to split the notifications into folders.

The ability to control deletion and restoration from the Recycle Bin.
I would like to see the ability to control the deletion and restoration of items from the Recycle Bin by user/group in the Enterprise Settings for Content and Sharing.
Currently, when a free user is added to a tenant, the user added can delete and restore items that they own.
If this feature is added, we would be able to control the deletion and restoration of items by the user in question on a per-user basis.Enterprise設定のコンテンツと共有に、ユーザー/グループ指定でごみ箱からの削除、復元が制御できる機能を追加してほしいです。
