1. Add description field to defaul group view

   I would like an more user friendly way to determine the identity of a synced group from Entra. I am wary of renaming them, as my guess is they are being matched with the Entra directory using the value in name field. I have no easy way of choosing a group to work on without opening them from the top until I see the added info in the description column. It would be nice to see that on the default list view.

2. Box Sign change Current Date timezone to PT upon conversion vs. UTC timezone for signatures

   Hi,
   we use macro fields (current date) in some of our word files.
   If we want to have this signed, it can happen that the date in the document changes under box sign. The reason is that the conversion of the file happens on servers that use PT as a time zone (we have MEZ) .
   The signatures themselves receive UTC as the time zone.
   Can this be standardized and perhaps ideally adapted to the transmitter's box zone?

4. Please remove the feature that hiding files/folders in Box Drive.

   I work at Box's help desk. Since most users aren't fully proficient with Box, hiding files/folders　causes confusion.

5. Please make it possible to choose both .msi and .exe installers for Box Drive.

   The reason is that administrator privileges are required during uninstallation, and end users cannot reinstall Box Drive when issues occur.

6. For the love of all that is holy. Please add the ability to pause and cancel specific offline items from syncing in the transfer window.

   On a slower wifi connection users need a way to control syncing. The ability to pause, or even cancel offline file from syncing is essential. Dropbox has this functionality. Please catch up.

7. We would like to customize and set the default values for digital watermarks.

   Currently, in the admin console, you can only choose to enable or disable the digital watermark feature, and customization has to be done by users for each file or folder.
   If we could set a predetermined digital watermark for the organization, it would be convenient as users wouldn't have to spend time on it, and administrators wouldn't need to check for compliance with the rules.
   We would like to request the implementation of a feature that allows administrators to customize the default values for digital watermarks.

9. File Status now showing in Windows File Explorer

   The problem shows up after installing the box app on my Windows pc. In my Windows file explorer, I cannot see the status of my files. I cannot know if the document is already available or needs to be downloaded first before use. And I cannot clear local downloaded file caches to release some space. How can I know the file status?

10. Make Banner Icon Editable within Box Hubs

    There is a small square icon that appears in the banner at the top of Box Hubs, this is the same icon shown on the list view before entering the Hub itself. The customer would like to be able to edit this icon, and remove it. Visually, its redundant and takes up space, and they don't have a good image to input into that space, for each specific hub. They use the banner for this purpose.

12. Restricted export of content insight reports by non-administrative users.

    There is a function to export Content Insights access statistics, but if you restrict content creation and prohibit the creation of first-level folders, you will not be able to export it.

13. Add Integration by App ID/Client ID for Shield Access Policy Integration Restriction

    When creating a Security Rule for a Shield Access Policy, when setting an Integration Restriction, you can only add the integration by name, and not by client ID or app ID. We have many apps with similar names, so using the client ID or app ID would help us restrict the correct app.

14. Open Microsoft Office in embedded Office app by default

    If I have, say, an Excel file in my Box account, I can right-click on it, choose Open with..., then choose Excel Online, and it'll open up in the embedded version of Excel. That's wonderful! However, since I almost always want to open my Excel files that way, I'd really like an option to have that happen automatically when I open the file without right-clicking on it. This would save me a bunch of clicks over time.

    (Closely related, I'd also like to get rid of the "will open in Microsoft Excel Online in a new browser window" alert, but there's a separate request for that for which I've already voted.)

15. Improve visibility and speed of LFOs within Box

    I’d like to share some feedback about the lack of visibility and the slow speed of Large File Operations (LFOs) in Box, particularly when moving large folders or performing ownership changes.

    These actions cause unavoidable downtime, but there’s no clear timeframe provided, and all items under the affected folders become inaccessible until the process finishes. This is creating significant headaches for our IT operations, especially as we’re working through major corporate restructuring. We’re forced to schedule these migrations on weekends to minimize disruption and open support tickets as a safety net in case the operations extend into the workweek and require follow-up.

    It feels like much of this pain could be avoided with improvements to how Box handles backend database updates and by providing better progress tracking and time estimates for LFOs. More transparency and predictability would make a huge difference for teams managing large-scale changes.

    I would like to add the global IP address that the client connects to as a target in the device trust requirements of the policies that can be set in the Enterprise settings for device protection. Currently, it is possible to apply for allowed IP addresses individually on a tenant basis, but it is not feasible to respond appropriately each time. By making it possible to set this as an item in this function, it will be possible to respond quickly and control the target in a limited manner, thereby improving operational management convenience and enhancing security. 17. Improvement of search within the Hub

    We would like to search for information within texts in the Hub, not only from files and folders in the Hub.
    Currently, to enable information search within the Hub, we compile all information in Box Notes and add it to the Hub. However, this results in longer access times for users. We would like to improve the issue where supplementary texts written within pages are not searchable.

    By carefully selecting only the minimum amount of information required to be output in a report, you can reduce the time it takes to output the report.

19. I would love if we could Embed AI Agents, and assign specific AI Agents to specific Hubs.

    Hi there! I'm trying to make the power of Box AI accessible to my users. Right now the best thing would be to give them a chatbot to read HR documents, on our Intranet in Sharepoint.

    I would love to be able to embed ONLY the Agent into Sharepoint, but so far we can only embed the Box Hub. Therefore if my user wants to ask about their HR benifits, my user has to:
    1. Go to the HR Sharepoint Site (where they normally find info on employee benefits, etc.)
    2. Unlock the blue/white Box Cloud image (see: "RC HR Screenshot 0 - Embedded into Sharepoint.png")
    3. Read my instructions on the hub, ignore the folders in the hub, and click the Box AI button (see: "RC HR Screenshot 1 - user reads instructions.png")
    4. Change the Default AI Agent (see: "RC HR Screenshot 2 - default AI Agent.png")
    5. The user has to somehow know that they're using the default AI agent, and they need to use the dropdown to the proper HR Agent "HeberBot" (see: RC HR Screenshot 3 - Dropdown to proper Agent.png)
    6. then finally type their question.

    I would love for this to be simplified somehow. Can you suggest other ways, or let me know if there's something that box has planned to simplify this? The best outcome would be: I would love for my user to go to the HR site, and type questions to the correct AI Agent.

    So I guess this request can be broken down to 2 technical asks:
    1. Embed Box AI Agents/chatboxes directly into sharepoint.
    2. Allow admins to assign specific AI Agents to specific Box Hubs. ( For example, my HR agent to my HR document hub. And inherantly disallow the default Box AI agent, or other AI Agents)
