  1. Preview embedded links and files in .pptx in the WebApp

    We would like files embedded into .pptx documents to be previewable in the WebApp so we do not have to download them first to see the embedded files.

  2. Previous versions on Folders as opposed to just files

    We would like to be able to see Previous versions on Folder level items as opposed to just individual files. This would help if a folder was overwritten.

  3. Workflow to delete all files in a folder on a schedule

    We have setup request folders we send to external users to upload files. Currently we need to manually review the contents of each folder and remove any uploaded files before sharing.
    We would like a modification to the delete workflow that would allow us to delete the contents of a folder. That way we can setup a scheduled workflow to remove all files in a folder at the start of each week. This way we can reuse the request links and know the contents will be deleted after a week.

  5. Enable Web App to display the SHA-1 checksum for an object

    We work with multiple large files and would like to be able to view the SHA-1 checksum that is stored in Box from the Web App in order to validate file transfer integrity as necessary.

    This is a very acute use case that isn’t in line with what we’re currently investing in for Web App. We will re-evaluate with additional customer demand.

  8. Multiple-Use Refresh Token

    The single-use refresh token for authentication has made integrating our web app with Box far more complicated than for other file-sharing platforms. A way for approved developers to obtain a multiple-use refresh token would be of great value.

  9. Support for PDF files based on vector graphics, vectorial

    Bonjour / Hello,

    In our business, we manipulate PDF files based on vector graphics. Box Sign currently does not support these types of files. Even in the case of Box preview, it does not handle the preview very well (on Chrome, the browser tends to freeze when a zoom of 70% is applied). Would it be possible to support these fairly large files (more than A0)?

    In the user details report, there is an item for storage used, but
    There is no item for the number of files owned.
    Please add a field for the number of files owned.

  11. Exclude file movement in Box Drive from Box shield's anomalous download detection

    When I move a folder with multiple files stored in Box Drive, Box Shield's anomalous download detection works.
    Since the purpose of the detection of anomalous download is to detect downloads that are taken out of the system, this specification is not the behavior we are looking for.
    Therefore, I would like to see Box Shield exclude moving files in Box Drive from the detection of anomalous download.

    In Japanese：
    Box Driveで複数ファイルが格納されているフォルダを移動すると、Box Shieldの「異常なダウンロード」検知が動作してしまいます。
    異常なダウンロード検知の目的は、ダウンロードによる持ち出しの検知なので、この仕様は求めている動作ではないです。
    そのため、Box Driveの移動はBox Shieldの異常なダウンロード検知の対象外にしてほしいです。

  12. HTML files should also be supported by Box AI

    Currently, HTML files are not supported by Box AI.
    As we move forward with the use of Box AI, we have a department that frequently uses HTML files, and that department requested that we use Box AI to obtain information from HTML files.
    As such, we would like you to improve this so that HTML files are also supported by Box AI.

  15. Report on downloaded files across several folders

    We would like to generate a report which shows how many files were downloaded across several folders within Box. We have a team that is looking to monitor the usage of certain files which are saved in Box across a number of individual client folders. We can see the downloads of individual reports through Box online, but there are a few hundred folders and that would be too time consuming to go through individually.

  16. Reminder to migrate files PSU Box when a faculty leaves PSU

    I created and uploaded some vmware images to PSU Boxes. And I shared several links to files at PSU Box. When I leaved PSU, I forget to migrate my files to our file hosting platform. Therefore, all my files are deleted and lost.

    Thank you for your feedback! You should be able to upload from the Office apps. Otherwise, this is an iOS limitation.

    I can't drag and drop to move a file as easily as on google drive
    The all files folder should automatically expand when I plan to drop a file to move it to.
