1. Create Shortcuts to Other Folders within Box

   We would love to be able to create shortcuts to other related files within files in Box on the web. For an example, in windows file explorer, you can create a shortcut from someone's individual file and someone's business file.

2. Singapore Zones

   We would like to have Singapore Zones as a main storage country.
   Currently you can select Singapore as a back up of Japan but not as a main country.
   We would need this to implement Box to South East Asian countries.

3. Ability to delete folders in the new Content Manager

   In the previous Content Manager, you could delete both folders and files, but in the new Content Manager, you can only delete files.

   Especially in controlled tenants, administrators may want to delete user-owned folders after a free account is rolled up to the tenant.
   It has become very inconvenient because it is no longer possible to delete folders, which was previously possible from the Content Manager.

   We would like the functionality to be improved so that folders can be deleted just like in the previous Content Manager.

   従来できていた管理者による削除が出来ないためとても不便です。

   旧UIと同様フォルダの削除もできるよう機能改善を要望します。

5. Box AI Limitations in Hubs

   We use Hubs to organize our monthly reporting packages. Some information in the packages are stored in tables. Box AI does not accurately return this information when prompted. Box AI works well for this information outside of Hubs. We need this "known issue" to be resolved so we can confidently use Box Hubs to curate our reporting packages.

6. AI returning inaccurate information from tables

   We keep monthly reporting packages in a Hub for each office. Some information in the reports is stored are in tables. We need box AI to accurately retrieve this information from the documents in the Hub, when prompted. AI works well for this outside a Hub. This is a known issue but makes Box AI much less useful for us.

7. MSP access

   We use a managed service provider for help desk support. It would be useful to be able to add management with limited access to set permissions and to reset passwords and 2fa. We don't want to use full Box license or permit access to company data

8. auto classification policies/engine to apply scanning of files within a compressed file

   Extend auto classification policies to compressed files (content within the zip) as well and have shield policies be able to enforce rules established for certain classifications. If something inside the unprotected compressed file is detected according to the auto classification policies, apply the same classification to the compressed file so the shield policies are adhered to.

   Without this, shield policies can be bypassed by simply zipping a file that would have triggered shield policy as the scan doesn't currently scan files within the compressed file.

9. Want to be able to specify the number of times each user uses BoxAI

   Want to be able to specify the number of times each user uses BoxAI

   Box AI can currently limit the number of users who use it, but it is not possible to limit the number of times it can be used.
   This is very inconvenient. I would like to be able to specify users who can only use Box AI up to 20 times, or specify users who can use Box AI more than 20 times.

10. Password protected folders - systems allows setting password not meeting log-in criteria

    When I set shared link with customer, I generate password for him and send it to him so he can access the folder. System allows me to create password which is not accepted by the system when the customer wants to sign in! That is very embarrasing.
    For example today I created shared folder, made a password (long enough, but containg only one number) and sent it to the customer to cooperate. System allowed me to set the password, but when the customer wanted to access the folder, he had to use the password but it was not accepted because system told him that the password must contain at least 2 number. So I had to change the password adding another number.
    It would be great if the system would check the password criteria also during setting one.

11. Make file versioning the default behavior for Box CLI "box files:upload" command

    if file versioning is the default behavior when uploading files in the URL Box web page; Why isn't that exactly the same behavior when uploading files thru the "box files:upload /path-to-file/filename.ext --parent-id FolderID" box CLI command?

    The logic is straight forward:

    1) If the file does not exist in the box folder, then create the file

    2) If the file DOES exist in the box folder, then instead of displaying that horrible warning message "409 Conflict, the file already exists", please update the content of the file and increase the FILE version number.

12. Better audio functions

    I would like it to hold my spot in an audio file when I flip to other apps and back. When I come back it starts over. It would be especially helpful if I paused for a week, and came back, the audio file I was working with was still holding the place where I left off. Also, would be great to have a 15-second back and 30 30-second forward like podcasts. All of this would make transcribing easier.

15. Request to change token_type content when obtaining access token with API

    When obtaining an access token for the Box API, the specification returns the value "bearer" with the first "B" in lowercase as the tokentype parameter, but if you set "bearer ${accesstoken}" to the value of the authorization header and execute the Box API, a 400 Bad Request will be returned. If "bearer" is changed to "Bearer", it will be processed correctly.
    I would like the obtained token_type value to be "Bearer", which can be processed normally by Box API.

    Box APIのアクセストークン取得時、tokentypeパラメータとして先頭の"B"が小文字で"bearer"という値が返却される仕様だが、authorizationヘッダーの値に"bearer ${accesstoken}"をセットしてBox APIを実行すると400 Bad Requestとなる。"bearer"を"Bearer"とすると正常に処理される。
    取得されるtoken_typeの値を、Box APIで正常処理できる"Bearer"にしてもらいたい。

16. Time added to file names moved by Box Relay

    When moving a Box Sign file in Relay, if the same file is in the folder, the file will be saved with an additional date and time.
    The time added is PST, so if you use it in a country with a time difference from PST, it will be a different time, so it is confusing because it is not clear when it was created.
    To avoid confusion, change this time to the time zone of the Relay owner.

18. Need to have ADDITIONAL sort options in Trash / Bin

    In NEW CONTENT MANAGER, when viewing any Trash, it is important to be able to SORT columns, not only by UPDATED column, but ALSO by ORIGINAL FOLDER LOCATION, so that content may selectively restored

    OR Make the Filter for FOLDER so that users may enter a text string (with " ") to identify and display results for the BINNED folder name

    ALSO display the binned folder and file IDs so that these can be selected in folder filter

20. Sort or Organize Box AI Agents in the List

    Currently the agents are displayed in the order in which they were created. It makes it really mess for users. It should be alphabetical or allow an admin to sort the display order.
