Native Picture Storage - No More 'Box Notes Images' Folder
Adding a photo to a Box note currently creates a 'Box Notes Images' folder in the parent folder where the Box Note is located. This seems somewhat odd and unintuitive, especially with the shared link permission quirks with the photos.
To resolve this, Box Notes should natively 'store' the pictures within the Box Note itself and not as part of a separate 'Box Notes Images' folder.

starts with, ends with, contains in metadata search
We have quite a large number of folders and files for a specific application in Box. To filter results, we'd like toi be able to use "Contains", "starts with" or "ends with" in the metadata search fields

Add "SSO Discovery Service Page" as a standard feature in Box login flow
We have 5 ID Providers. Box proposed "SSO Discovery Service" to connect 5-IdPs and a Box tenant. But "Discovery Service" needs to build a public web site. We cannot build that site because of their security policy. Please prepare discovery page as a standard feature in Box login flow.
72 votesNot planned for now. When we update admin login flow in FY20 H2, this will be under consideration.

User-Level Option to Default to 'In This Folder' Search
Currently, 'in this folder' searching is an opt-in for each search that a user performs. Some users, however, would like webapp search to mirror the experience we already provide on mobile, aka always defaulting to doing an 'in this folder' search.
REQUEST: Add a user-level setting (within a user's Account Settings) that allows them to opt-in to always defaulting to 'in this folder' searching (meaning the 'in this folder' checkbox in the quicksearch filter will always be checked unless the user manually unchecks it for a specific search).
72 votesDue to other higher priorities, we are not considering this item at this time.

Last Activity - Add 'Last Activity' Info & Sort Option to Managed Users Page
We currently do not expose the 'Last Activity' field for Managed Users anywhere in the Admin Console.
This is a very helpful piece of information for admins to have easy access to in order to get a good idea, quickly, whether a user has recently been active in Box or not.
REQUEST:
--Add a 'Last Activity' field/value for each user in the list of users on the Managed User page
--Add 'Sort By: Last Active Date' to the Managed Users page so that admins can easily see who is recently (or not recently active)71 votes -
Folder path under Trash
Under Trash, please add "folder path". If there was a bulk delete of many files in a folder, we want to confirm the file belongs in the folder path, before we restore the files.

Relay lite: allow admin to change the workflow owner
Box Relay creates a workflow (Folder creates a task that requests invoice processing and is used to manage outstanding tasks) that enables clerical employees to process invoices more efficiently. However, when the employee is transferred, the workflow that has been created is not transferred to the next person in charge. If a useful workflow can be managed as a company, not as an individual (Change the workflow owner for contact changes), it will be very useful for business efficiency.
69 votesEnterprise, Enterprise +, and grandfathered Relay full users are now able to transfer workflows

3D/CAD File preview zoom function
<improvement>
Improve zoom/enlargement in 3D file preview functionWith the current 3D file preview function of Box, the display of the 3D model is small, and there is a limit to the distance that can be brought close to the 3D model even when zooming, so I would like to improve.
<Use case>
- BIM/CIM-based 3D CAD data can be easily displayed on a browser, which can be expected to improve communication with relevant parties and productivity.
- The viewer of a CAD maker has high performance and high affinity with CAD data, but it has a large burden such…68 votes -
Box Relay variable support
Could we have a variable for approvers Instead of harcoding them to a relay?
For example, if a document contained a metadata field for approver and it was populated with a user, could we use that metadata as a variable for the approval step of the relay workflow?

Folder level comments and tasks
Being able to comment or assign a task on an entire folder would be easier than @mentioning a user on one file and referencing 3 or 4 other ones. It would be helpful to assign a task to someone on an entire folder (and not leave that sort of information in the folder description).
67 votesWe understand the request, but unfortunately this is not on the near-term roadmap. We will be exploring improvements and enhancements to Tasks in the next 1-2 years and will take this into consideration when we do.

Shared link to open file directly in Box Drive
Instead of opening in Web App, we should click a shared link to open in Drive.

Remember sort order for a folder
Remember the sort order chosen for a folder, whether by date or by name. Some folders will always need to be sorted one way or the other - currently have to re-sort multiple times a day when going back and forth between folders.

Enable Tasks in Box Notes
Client is a heavy user of Box Notes (for project plans, team meetings, checklists, lists and other). They'd like to be able to assign tasks related to those lists/activities/other from the Box Note to collabs.
66 votesThank you for the feedback. Adding Tasks to Box Notes is functionality that we are actively researching, but is not currently on the roadmap. Please continue to submit feedback and use cases, and we’ll update if and when this becomes a priority.

Indicators / Progress Bar for Large Folder Operations (Moves, Ownership Transfers, Delete, Copy)
When doing a move of a large folder or changing the owner of a large folder, users often receive a 'this may take some time' banner notification in the webapp, but that quickly disappears and the user is left wondering... "so...has it finished fully yet?"
REQUEST: Have more indicators (progress bar, e-mail updates, etc.) of progress in the operation, especially for folder moves/ownership transfers.
Example: In our mobile apps, we provide a 'job manager' that shows the user progress when they're performing various actions.

Allow bulk actions to be interrupted (such as copy/move/restore/delete)
When users copy / move / restore / delete a large number of items, we want them to be able to cancel if they notice a mistake along the way.
Currently, when processing a large number of items in Box, we need to wait until the process is completed even if we notice a mistake.
When processing large numbers of items, processing may require several days.
During that time, folders and files are locked.
Please make it possible to interrupt the process on the way.64 votesDue to higher priority initiatives, this has been deprioritized.
