In Webapp Search filtering - add multi-select for file type filtering or add an option to exclude folders
During searches, returns can include both Files as well as Folders, which adds to the search return clutter. Customer would like a way to filter out all folders results.
This could be done through adding multi-select to file types filter or adding a folders type exclusion.2 votesHi, this feature was delivered earlier this calendar year. Flag mutliple folders for Offline User
Currently, in order to mark a folder/file for offline, you have to do it individually. It would be nice to have the ability to drag select folders/file and have the context menu provide the option to mark grouped items as available, as you might with any other native Windows function.

Shared link permissions enterprise default
A way to force reset everyone to the enterprise default for shared link permission level.

Set Classification at a folder level and have files inherit that Classification
Folder level Classification - ability to assign a classification at the folder level so that any file that hits the folder or sub-folders will inherit that classification.

Admin creates an order for the items in a certain folder and when that folder is shared it stays in that order!
When an admin (such as myself) creates an order for the items in a certain folder, and then that folder is shared, it should stay in that order! I have been coming into serious issues with this situation and I really would like box to be able to fix the glitch. It is very frustrating and I have called and emailed numerous amounts of times complaining about it and no one has done anything. Add "Copy file" and "Copy shared link" to the horizontal bar in Box preview
When I get shared links for which I want to reuse to create my own decks I have to download the file , make changes and upload it back. Would be convenient for the user to just "copy" the file because at that point they had download rights anyways
When I get shared links and I want to share the file further its not clear to me that I could copy the same url and send it ahead. Some users end up downloading the file in order to share further which leads to data fragmentation

Same as the title says: ability to 'select all' or 'multi-select' items for moving between folders. Why can't I select multiple files via a menu option, drag and drop, or any other method beside individually clicking every single item.

Filter folders by date modified when selecting "Move or Copy"
Would like to have the ability to filter folders by date modified when selecting "Move or Copy." Currently files are organized by alpha and I have to scroll through files to find the one I recently created.

Set Custom Time for File Request or Shared Link expiration
Have the ability to set an expiration time in the Web App on the Box File Request. The use case is a submission use case where the need is to have uploads shut off at 3pm vs the default of 11:59pm. The ability to set a different time can only be done at the API/CLI level for the Shared Link only and not the File Request. In addition, you can not set a time within the WebApp for either. This functionality could be extended to other use cases with collaborator access shut off at a specific time of day.

1 : Collaboration should included list of all collaborators irrespective if they are directly invited or added through waterfall;l permission model .
2: Collaborator report should include file level collaboration report as well .

Increase the maximum number of Shield Classifications beyond 25 so that we can classify each clients content to prevent mis-sharing
I would like to see the ability to add Shield Classifications per client - with the appropriate access policy (restricting to client email domain) we could avoid any possibility to overshare when inviting the wrong clients into a folder or sharing a shared link - There is a maximum number of classifications of 25 so could this be extended to facilitate this use case/control.

Date and time functions will not work correctly in shared Excel file
When an external collaborator opens a shared link of an Excel file (with 'People with the link' option selected) without logging into box, date and time functions will not work correctly.
This should be fixed, as it would easily bring about confusion.1 vote -
Warning when moving files into folders with different retention policies
Warn or prevent the user if they are moving a file from a folder with longer retention policy to a shorter retention policy that the longer retention will still hold

Add "Do not notify" to "Share this folder" dialog box
When inviting users to collaborate in a folder, it would be helpful to add a check box to Not Notify the users.
Larger folders can cause a lot of noise as users are added to a folder.
There are times the collaborators may need to be removed, then re-added to a folder - this generates confusing emails.7 votes -
Request for control over shared links for company users
In order to share content quickly and securely with certain company users, we would like to request the following features
・Allow passwords to be set on shared links even when they are addressed to company users.
・Allow tenant default values for shared link expiration to be configured specifically for “company users.”

Prevent Users from navigating to other folders when using Salesforce
Currently the Box for Salesforce integration utilizes a simple embed widget, which allows a user to navigate out of the associated Box folder to other areas of their Box account, all while still in the same Salesforce case. This is a security and use concern for some customers as files can be accidentally uploaded to folders not related to the current case. From a UI perspective, simply taking away the file path buttons would get the job done.

default file request webpage for child folders
We would like to create a default File Request Webpage Template that automatically applies to every folder we create under the parent folder rather than having to Copy the File Request Webpage.
We expect the root parent "Request File Webpage" to be the default for all child folders created new under the parent folder...
We want the exact same layout and fields on every "Request File Webpage" for every child folder under the parent.
Not the link, but the Webpage layout and fields.
