Generic Box AI for Box employees
Can we have an employee version of the Box AI that has access to all generic Box notes for employees and Confluence pages. This will speed up the process of getting answers to internal employee questions.

We would like to have a setting to control the ability to create shared links in Box Drive.
Currently, users can right-click on content in Box Drive and generate a shared link from the "Share" menu. We need a way to disable this functionality through administrative settings.
When creating a shared link from the web, it is possible to confirm that the shared link has been created by an icon,, however, when creating a shared link from BoxDrive, no icon is displayed, making it impossible to know whether a shared link has been created. Therefore, we want to prohibit creating shared links from BoxDrive.

Box for Office and co-authoring
Co-authoring and Box for Office each create "places" in Office applications, which is confusing to the end user. Per Box Support, files opened via the Box For Office integration cannot be co-authored.
The Box for Office integration includes Office ribbon icons, more intuitive file open/save workflows, and has been part of the Box integration environment for years. Consider either improving the UI of the "Place" created by the co-authoring integration or allowing co-authoring on content opened via the Box for Office integration.

Box Note Unlimited Page Width
Right now, the box notes page width is fixed. This is particularly frustrating when creating tables in a box note that needs more than a few columns.

3 votesHi there – Although we understand the need for unlimited page width, we do not plan to extend our existing full width experience. We will reconsider this experience once we have additional feedback and use cases.

Insert date and time fields in Box Notes
My office would like to use Box notes to log certain informal client interactions. We would like to create a customized Box note template for this, and we need it to include automatic current date and time field in the note header (i.e. individual note creation date and time) -- similar to the generic stock template provided by Box. However, there is currently no way to insert automatic creation date and time fields in a custom Box note template header. This should be an easy and useful enhancement.”

Box-Netsuite Bundle
For the Netsuite/Box bundle, it would be better to not require the user to choose whether to create a Box folder or use the default on each folder. This should be a setting that the administrator can choose.

- Currently, the size of PDF files obtained when we scan a document via the Box mobile app, is very large.

Are you kindly considering adding a feature to skip / ignore certain paths (directories, files) stored on local machine from syncing? Some examples of situations where inability to exclude files from backup causes undesired issues: 1) There are programs which store temporary files among synced folders. These temporary files frequently change and are deleted on program exit, which results into frequent unnecessary synchronization and deletion of files in cloud, therefore waste of computing resources and bandwidth. 2) Specific program creates empty file "running" to indicate it's in running state. Ability to select BoxEdit even when Box for Microsoft Office co-editing is enabled.
When Box for Microsoft Office co-editing is enabled, microsoft office files cannot be edited in Box Edit.
However, there are use cases where we may not want to co-edit.
Even if the Box for Microsoft Office co-editing feature is enabled, we want to choose whether or not we want to edit in Box Edit.

Ability to invite external unmanaged users into Box Apps
We are requesting a new feature that allows external (unmanaged) users to be invited into Box Apps.
Use Case Example:
A law firm wants to share categorized legal documents with their clients through Box. Currently, Box Apps enable internal users to view and manage files with rich metadata, making it easy to organize and automate workflows. However, clients cannot access these metadata views directly. Customers should have the ability to view this structure and even work with it to launch automations and processes, as well as search their documents more easily.11 votes -
Folder Tree View in WebApp (Windows Explorer/Finder, eBuilder)
I noticed that Box does not have a high-level folder tree view, except in the 'All Files' page (you click on the arrow next to "All Files"). Many Box folders in my company's folder structure take a very long time to load - however the folder tree view on the 'All Files' page loads quicker, but still not as fast as another application like eBuilder. Ability to re-arrange All Files page on Drive, including external folders, for organizational purposes.
We would like to be able to move non-owned and external folders around for organizational purposes on their private Drive, without impacting the actual external/owner of the folder. For example: Company X shared Folder A with me at Company Y. I would like to move Folder A to my Company X folder in Drive so it's not clogging my All Files page (without this impacting Company X's folder).

Improve Box notes sharing and Home page
Box @ IBM is easily my most used and least liked product at work. The link sharing is a horrible experience. Everyone in the company disses Box's link protection. Enabling Link Expiration by default on the shared links is the worst idea and the product manager that approved this feature should dogfood features before subjecting customers to its horrid UX. In the Box Web browser, I can confirm that the new mention is on the left side menu "notifications" with red ● when new notifications appear. We'd like to have those notifications within Box for EMM too.

Merge PDFs generated when uploading with Box Sign
Every time you upload a file to Box Sign, a PDF file is generated, which can make the data cluttered.
Is it possible to make it so that only the final combined data is generated as a PDF file?
