Data Exfiltration Notification, receive an email notification when a large download is initiated
Would like to received a notification when a user initiates a download. Set a specific threshold for total size or number of files downloaded, get notification if a user starts to download over the threshold.
Reason: Visibility on data exfiltration.

Box Shield label error notification
When there is an error to labelling Box Shield label there is no way for the user to know where there was an error or not unless looking at each content one by one.

Add “Specify when started” option in “Send a notification” outcome
There is an option “Specify when started” in “Assign a task” outcome. It would be convenient to have a similar option in “Send a notification” outcome, since the recipients might vary depending on who started the workflow.

Receive Email Notification if Report Times Out
Currently, reports initiated in Box can timeout or 10 million records or exceeds 12 hours to generate. The user does not receive any notification should this happen to know that report will not be received.
Enhancement request would be for the user to receive email notification that report timed out.

Enhance file storage location for Box Drive
Having files stored in a hidden user cache folder is a very bad design. Leave them in the folder where they "physically" are, instead, just as Box sync, Dropbox, Mega, and others do.
Plus, let me choose where the app installs in and which folders I want to keep synced. As is it now, Box Drive has a needlessly redundant mechanic, eats up space on the system drive, and give no control to users.
I uninstall the app until these problems are addressed.

Account based folder notification settings
We would like to allow each collaborator to configure their own folder notification settings for each folder. Currently, all collaborators must use the same email notification settings designated by an owner or co-owner.
Some collaborators may be waiting on file uploads or downloads and want an email notification, but other collaborators may not want the noise in their inbox. The "override defaults" option in folder settings should only apply to the currently logged in user account.

Fix the known notification issue immediately
Promptly fix the known issues with notifications listed in the following article
Due to this bug, there have been frequent incidents of not receiving notifications when documents are uploaded by clients.
This has significantly damaged the reliability of Box at our company, and there are calls for its use to be discontinued.16 votes -
Box Relay offer ability to send email and/or phone number notification as a Notification Outcome.
Box Relay required to validate email and/or phone number when triggering workflow (e.g. File Request) and offer ability to send email and/or phone number notification as a Notification Outcome.

Default email notification for a folder
Set a default notification setting for a folder (i.e. Every collaborator gets a notification email when a new file is uploaded), until the individual wants to change that and override it. This would be helpful in the case where we want to utilize Box to share files with external clients and avoid sending a separate email to them to let them know that we've uploaded a new file. It would be a hassle (and maybe not likely to happen) to rely on external clients to change their own personal notification settings.

Notification pop up to be constrained to its bounding box
The notification popup takes the entire width of the screen when it appears, stopping you from clicking the search box, this really needs to be constrained to the bounding box of the notification itself, rather than taking the entire width.

Notification about Update of File
If you share a link to a file or folder, is there a way for recipients on that file to be notified that the file has been updated or in the case of a folder that another file has been added?
For example, when they receive the link, could there be a message that says, if you'd like to get updated about this file/folder enter your e-mail. Then Box has a way of sending them the updates.

Include owner of the relevant file in the notification e-mail when the collaboration is terminated.
Currently, the following information is included in notification e-mails when a collaboration is canceled.
"There is one collaborator to be removed-[name] - [folder name] - [date to be removed]."The current notification email has no information about who the collaborator is.
Please include the owner's information in the notification email so that we can contact the owner.3 votes -
Admin/ Co-admin to receive notification email when managed user collaborate with external user
Admin/ Co-admin would be better informed if they have the option to receive notification whenever managed user invite external user for collaboration.

Notification(s) for Box Notes
In the "Inbox" of Box Notes, any Note that gets updated by someone is conveniently displayed at the top. While this feature is helpful, it can also be bothersome because Notes that I no longer need to see keep appearing at the top of my screen every time someone opens them. Additionally, I’d like to be able to turn off unread notifications for Notes that aren’t relevant to me.
It would be helpful to have a setting that allows users to turn update/unread notifications ON or OFF for each Note individually.

Update Notification in Box Hubs
We currently have a limitation with Box Hubs, where there is no feature to notify users about updates to content placed within each Hub. Presently, we rely on traditional portal sites such as SharePoint to accomplish this task.
To address this, it would be highly beneficial if the personnel responsible for uploading documents to each Hub could also post updates on a dedicated "Announcements Page." This page would be configured by administrators but managed by the respective Hub content owners, enabling employees to view the latest updates at the start of their workday. Notification that a file has entered workflow
When a file enters workflow it is moved, a notification (preferably to other users in the folder) that the file has been moved because it has entered a workflow is required.

Display warning notification (admin controls) for moving large files and folders.
We have large projects folders containing 5+ GB of data. Would like to have a warning notification similar to that of deleting a file, pop up when someone goes to move a file or folder.
Ideally this would have customizable parameters controlled by the admin such as warn users only when file contains over 100 mb or even a feature that requires admin approval over a certain amount.
We recently had one of our very large folders moved accidentally and it caused a huge bandwidth issue as well as displaced the many sub folders that various departments relied on.
