Display of account name when approval task or Box Relay creator user is deleted
After an account is deleted, the user who created an approval task is displayed as "Previous Collaborator," making it impossible to verify the approval status at that time. Please change this so that the username from that time continues to be displayed even after the account is deleted.

Add date and time of application of classification labels to the Classification Report
The current classification report lists which content is assigned which classification label, but does not show the date and time the label was applied or the user who applied the label.
The date of application and the user who applied the label are displayed in the folder/file details, but this is only the case when the classification label is applied manually.We would like to add an item to the classification report because it is expected to take time to investigate the cause when a classification label is unintentionally changed, and there is a security risk such as information leakage…

Add configuration option to hide the right-hand sidebar automatically
When a file is opened, the right-hand sidebar is open by default. My preference is to have it closed, so I must close it each time. Please add a configuration option that would allow for users to set that sidebar closed at startup by default.

Ability to disable the feature to send shared link by email.
When the customer send email to external user, it is necessary to put superiors in CC according to their company rules.

Currently, the Details section is tucked away, and it is not intuitive.

login page Customization
The login page is very confusing for our external collaborators. Despite the creation of "How to log on to Box" with pictures, external collaborators still click on the wrong link as the "Continue" button (for our managed users) is very large compare to the small font link for the external collaborators. The natural instinct is to click on "Continue" which gives the external collaborator an error since they are not part of the "managed users" and will not be able to SSO to our Box. Our staff is having to help our external customer on regular basis.

Suppression List Query & Management
The new tool in the admin prompt to release users from the suppression list is half a solution. We need the ability to query for any of our users on the list. It would also be great if we got a notification when a user with our domain showed up on the list so that we could know to go in and remove them before they end up getting angry at Box for "not working."

Please relax the recommended number of collaboration users per item
We would like the recommended number of collaboration users per item to be relaxed.

I would like to exempt BOX Service Account user from password reset
Box will disconnect from Salesforce if the password is not reset which creates a problem when we have an automated email drop into box from Salesforce.

User Accessible Content Reporting
Create reports that are accessible to end users without co-admin permissions. Customer suggested reports include: Expired Shared Links or Shared Links that have not been accessed for a specified period of time (Stale Shared Links); Documents that have not been updated, previewed, or downloaded for a specified period of time (Stale Content).

Expose EXIF Metadata in the Box Drive when Media (Photo, etc.) is Uploaded via Box Drive or Web App
We sort hundreds of thousands of photos taken by our users. We need to be able to sort within Box Drive in a Windows Explorer view, and one of the ways they sort is via the Date Taken attribute.

Shield Alert - mark as resolved
On the dashboard for Shield, you see a list of alerts generated through threat detection policies. We'd like to see the functionality where end users could mark an alert as seen and/or resolved so everyone who monitors the Shield alerts would know whether it's been resolved or open. This is similar to a ticketing system, but a simple notes body on the alert where someone could put an explanation of their response to the alert would greatly enhance visibility and drive better usability. Change the wording in the log in / Homepage
Could the wording on the home page be changed to read "Employee of..." instead of "Part of ...."? We share Box with external users and the wording is confusing as they are part of the company but do not work for it.

Notify user when moving a folder breaks collaborator permissions
When moving a folder that has inherited permissions from a higher folder, the webapp should recognize that it will lose those collaborations. It would also be great if it then asked the user if it is ok, if they would like to cancel the move, or if they would like to invite the collaborators on the folder in its new location.

I would like to be able to change the position and size of items pre-set at the time of Box Sign request by the user who requested the sign.
When a signature is made using a stamp in its current state, when the completed data is checked, the signature is leaning to the left and cannot be signed in the correct position.

Box Drive Sync Delay Indicator
Box Drive is supposed to mirror the files on the server. But we experience delays of five minutes to over an hour between when we complete an upload to Box and when other users can see the file in Box Drive. We end up having to use the web portal more frequently to download files rather than waiting for them to appear, which creates version issues and nullifies the most attractive feature of Box Drive. The old Box Sync software used red or green dots to indicate if a file had synced. Is there a way to add such…
45 votesThanks for the suggestion. Typically updates between box.com and Box Drive should happen very quickly. If they are not, we’d recommend filing a support ticket in case there is an issue.

Shield Dashboard to search files
I would like to have a feature in Shield Dashboard to search files to malware deep scan result. This is because the admin receive feedback about a specific file from end users and so the admin would like to check that file easily from the dashboard.

Relay Lite for multiple users
Relay Lite has a limitation that would work only for a home user. Any business organization would have a primary and backup user monitoring work items, so the ability to list multiple people on the workflow notifications and having only one complete it is essential. We can list multiple recipients in other areas of your product, and should be able to do so in Relay-Lite, rather than being restricted to a single radio button choice.
