  1. Box Relay Send Notification Outcome Tied to a File

    The current "Send Notification" outcome is only capable of sending general notification according to the message set at Box Relay. Can we also tie it with a file similar to the "Assign Task" outcome? Thank you.

  2. Turn off document update and refresh notification

    When a document is uploaded, a semi-permanent notification box appears in Box, preventing me from opening another document or doing anything else in Box. My only options are to click the options in the notification or to use one of my browser's navigation options (back, refresh, etc.). The extra clicks really slows down my workflow when I am updating and working on multiple documents in one folder.

    Please allow us to turn off these updated document notifications.

  3. Open the linked file in the notification email in Box Drive.

    When we receive a notification about a folder or file, click on the link in the email and we will be redirected to your browser.
    For users who mainly use Box Drive, being able to transition only to the Web is an added hassle.
    We would like to be able to open files linked to in the notification email in Box Drive as well.

    Box Driveを主に使っているユーザーにとってはWebにしか遷移できないないのは手間が増えます。

  5. Send notification after approved/rejected status change

    To improve the real-time collaboration (Task activity) within each team and the team members. Automated notifications sent out to team members indicating the APPROVED/REJECTED status would help). Presently the Team leader and members use the COMMENT feature to keep the team informed. I want more automated notifications as changes occur.

  9. Ability to add reminder notification function for folders and files

    I want you to apply the remind notification function for folders and files

    Currently Box Relay cannot send reminders for folders and files.
    I want you to apply the function to send notifications with a custom date and interval for each folder and file.
    With this function, it is possible to prevent oversight of work that has a deadline, and it is possible to carry out work efficiently.

    Assigned Task>approval Task>Assignee(s)
    Can be assign "any group.

    on the other hand,
    If the task is rejected >Send a notification
    Recipients :can not be Assign group.

    for example, a group members include over 50 person, it hard to assigned one by one. So it happy to assign group on send a notification recipients field.

  12. WoW Storage Usage Metric

    I'd need week over week total space used report that can be exported for the past several years. (ideally 7 years, same as other reports)

    Part of this data is currently available in Insights (Admin Console), but it only displays for the past 30 days and doesn't have ability to export in CSV or Excel.

    Background:
    To calculate our ROI on Box and to report to our executive, we'd need a way to find out the historical data and its increase rate.

    Admin/ Co-admin to send notification email
    to multiple email addresses.
    Currently, Alternate notification emails can be set 1 email address. Would like admin to set multiple addresses to receive help desk accounts.

  16. Dynamic notification feature in Relay

    In Relay notifications, it's currently only possible to include a pre-set static message. We'd like to have the ability to include dynamic settings that incorporate pre-trigger information such as the target file name.

  17. More possibilities regarding session timeout

    We find that the session timeout possibilities are somewhat limited. The jump from 2 days to 14 days is quite big - 2 days would log everyone out during each weekend, and would result in support tickets and 14 days are quite many. Something like 4 days inbetween would be great.

  18. Box should send a notification when the comment of a task is modified

    When a task is assigned, the assignee receives an email notification that a task has been assigned to them to complete. If the task assigner modifies the comment or text for the task, before the task is complete, the assignee is not notified. Many organization who must comply with 17a-4 FINRA compliance will need to capture these communications in Box. If a notification is not sent due to a modified task, the organization may be at risk of being out of compliance. A second notification should be sent for modified tasks.

  19. Ability to customize the notification emails sent from Relay

    We would like to incorporate this into Relay as a review and tracing task by forcing notifications to specific people or groups.

    It is difficult to do the above with the current e-mails being sent.
    It can't be reached with a single click because there is no file name or link to the trigger folder in the email only.
    Therefore, we would like to see the following improvements.

  20. Contact information options for outage notification

    During the recent outage, a notification was provided with the email address of our primary admin, which is a service account. This should instead default to our support contact information, as defined under Custom Setup. We currently have no option to change this behaviour.
