1. Add Signature field to Box Forms

   It would be helpful to be able to include a signature field for a Box form submission. In cases where a user submits a purchase request form, we'd like to also show that they have signed/approved the information being passed (which is something we currently do when a user fills out the form and signs before submission to the procurement team). Being able to include a signature field in the form would save users multiple steps and closely approximate the experience of filling out a form and signing it.

2. We want to use "YYYY MM DD" format for Box Relay date variables

   When entering dates as variables in Box Relay, it is inconvenient that the only formats available are "MM YYYY" or "MM DD YYYY".
   We would like to be able to enter the date in the "YYYY MM DD" format.

3. Custom Shared Link Control by User Type

   Admin ability to set global shared link settings by user type - such as no ability for a managed user to set a shared link to "anyone with the link" -- but admins and/or co-admins could set a shared link to be public (in the case of surfacing documentation externally). This could look like, under "Default access for shared links" setting in Admin Console, a new dropdown to allow for an override for co-admins or above, OR the ability to add specific users to an allowlist.

4. Box for Mobile - Media Auto-Player

   It would be beneficial if there was a “music player” type feature of Box that would play through a folder with music / media tracks, as opposed to having to preview and play these one-by-one.

5. Enable longer retention policies (Specifically 150 yr policy option)

   At USAA life Insurance we have many documents that need a longer retention policy of 150yrs and the longest you have available is 50 yrs. We have 2 million documents that we cannot apply a policy to because of this issue.

6. I would love to be able to direct Box Drive to any drive connected to my computer.

   Have the option to choose where Box Drive syncs from not just where it is installed. Instead of the startup drive as default Box Drive location, having the option to choose any drive internal or external drive would be great.

7. Open read-only in BoxDrive

   Users with viewer privileges are not allowed to update files, but in the case of files that are updated simply by opening them, such as .xls files, an error will occur each time the file is opened in BoxDrive.
   Is it possible to open files from BoxDrive in read-only mode?

   Box Drive doesn’t currently provide a built-in “read-only open” option. Instead, whether a file opens in read-only mode depends on the application (Excel, Word, etc.) and the operating system.

   Here are a few possible workarounds:

   • Download a local copy and open it outside of Box Drive.
   • Use Box Preview in the web app, which always opens in read-only mode.
   • Adjust application settings (e.g., in Excel you can configure certain files to always open as read-only).

8. Shield - Download and Navigate to a file directly from a Malicious Content Shield Alert

   For the Malicious Content rule, it should be possible to download a malicious file directly from a Shield Alert for sandboxing without having to search for it.

   Also, an admin who has Content Manager access should be able to click a button within the alert and navigate to the file in the Content Manager to manage it.

9. Feature Request to Hide/Show Default BoxNotes Sidebar

   Content: When opening BoxNotes for the first time, the sidebar is displayed and open.
   　　　　Users who are not familiar with Box operations do not know how to hide the sidebar, which narrows the screen and makes it difficult to grasp the overall structure of the note, reducing work efficiency.
   　　　　We would like to request the implementation of a feature that allows the tenant side to set the default sidebar to show/hide.

10. Increased file limit for Box AI for Hubs

    Currently, Box AI for Hubs is limited to 10,000 files per hub and 1,000,000 files combined across all hubs in an tenant.
    For use cases such as distributing hubs on a departmental basis, this number is low, so we would like the limit to be relaxed.

11. Allow users to save column width settings in folder view (Box Web and Box Drive)

    Description:
    Currently, when viewing folders in Box (both Web and Box Drive), the default column widths for fields like "Name" and "Modified Date" are too narrow. Users must manually adjust the column widths every time they open a folder. However, these adjustments are not saved, and the view resets to the default narrow widths.
    This causes inconvenience and reduces productivity, especially for users who frequently work with long file names or need to sort by date.
    Feature Request:

    Enable users to save their preferred column widths in folder views.
    Apply saved settings persistently across sessions and folders.
    Optionally allow administrators to set default column widths for their organization.

    This feature would greatly improve usability and efficiency for many Box users.

12. Add Categories or Tags to Organize AI Agents in Box AI Studio

    The ability to create AI agents in Box AI Studio is extremely useful. However, as the number of AI agents increases, it becomes increasingly difficult to find the right agent when using Box AI.

    I would like to request a feature that allows users to better organize and find their AI agents. Possible solutions could be:
    - Allowing users to assign categories to AI agents, which could also be arranged in a hierarchical structure
    - Enabling the addition of multiple tags to each AI agent, along with the ability to filter or search by these tags

    In short, I hope you can provide an efficient way to categorize, tag, or otherwise manage AI agents, so that they can be easily found, especially as their number grows.

13. Cannot select text in Box preview screen

    When previewing a file, attempting to select text within the file results in a state where a yellow frame is being specified instead, making it impossible to select the text. I would like this to be fixed so that text selection is possible.

14. Regarding Preview of msg Files Stored on Box

    I would like to request a fix for the issue where, when an msg file is stored, the preview continues to display the initially uploaded content even after the file's content has been updated.

17. Request to add a function to select target items for output in the Shared Link Report

    In the current Shared Link Report filters, it is not possible to specify the targets of the output items, such as files, folders, or Hubs.
    Since all shared link information is output, there are many items, and extracting the necessary information takes a significant amount of time.

    To reduce operational workload when performing an inventory of Box Hub shared links, we would like the ability to limit the output items to Hubs only.
    Therefore, we request the addition of a feature in the Shared Link Report filters that allows users to select the target types of items to be included in the output.

19. Add Date Field to Box Forms

    We would like a date field type with a date picker added to box forms. We are currently using the "Number" field type for dates, but are getting formatting discrepancies. There are times we input information using a form that was from a different day so being able to select the correct day and controlling formatting is important. Thank you.

20. Box File Request - no longer on brand for us - we would like to be able to change the picture or leave as a solid color

    We utilize the File Request links regularly for our clients. Recently, there has been a change to the cover picture, and now our clients can't easily identify that it is, in fact, our branding and under our purview. We would like to go back to having a solid color that we can customize/match to the rest of our Box site or be able to customize the picture choice.
