Sometimes previewing large Video files is not counted as "preview" in User Statistics Report.
It should be counted.

Number of files in folder not correctly shown
All the folders in the Box I'm using show "Size" as "0 Files", when in fact each folder contains several files. It would have been useful for this feature to work correctly. Instead, I'm manually opening each folder to check their contents. In the alternative, an option to click an arrow to go to the contents of the next folder in the file list would be helpful to save a click navigating back to the main page.

Set Classification at a folder level and have files inherit that Classification
Folder level Classification - ability to assign a classification at the folder level so that any file that hits the folder or sub-folders will inherit that classification.

Unable to move Box files to new hard drive
I added a larger, secondary drive to my computer, and I'd like to move the Box Drive and off line files to this second drive. This is because the C-drive is 90% full while the new terabyte drive is almost empty. I need to free up space on the C-drive. I was told "customizing the Box Drive folder does not change where Box Drive stores its app data or cached files, including items marked for offline use, so customizing the folder will not save disk space if you relocate the folder to another drive".

Make admin console reports (Folders & Files, Collaborations, Shared Links) run at scale
I saw on the Community site that there is a 10 million item limit, but my company has way more items than that. It is important for us to have these reports for security audits.

Bulk change link permissions for subfolders and files
As it stands if you create a folder with shared link permissions to be invited people only and then you add files and subfolders, if you change the permissions of the parent folder to change to anyone in your company, they don't propagate, nor do files added after inherit the parent folders permissions which were changed previously. It would be good if when making a change that you are prompted to allow waterfall permissions to subfolders and files or to not. We would like the ability to print a Box Note from their mobile device.
We have this capability in Box Notes on desktop but not on the mobile application.

Expand Column for Files and Folders Report
Sometimes I have users who ask for a files and folder report on a particular folder. After I receive the report I have to create an additional column for a link to the file/folder. I just use the existing information in the report, replace all F with f in the Item Type Column, and concatenate function in excel to create this. Would just like this to be a native addition for the report.

Upon folder upload via web or Drive, if any files fail due to file/path name limit, provide a list of those files
When a file path exceeds 255 characters, the file would in some circumstances (e.g on Windows), fail from upload. When an entire folder is moved, there is no way of knowing if or how many files may have failed to upload. This is due to OS limitation, but a Box notification or a report could at least allow a manual transfer or shortening the names of the impacted files.

We had spotty internet connection at one time, and I was unable to go online for access to the files for the company I don't have synced.

Now it appears that recovery of files that were deleted in a shared Duke Box Toolkit folder can only be recovered by the individual that deleted the file (not the co-owner or admin without the assistance of the individual that performed the deletion). Collaborator files from Box Drive not showing up on Box.com
Ever since we updated our systems to macOS Ventura we've encountered many issues with Box Drive, now we are not seeing files from other collaborators that they report to have synced showing up on other peoples Drive or on Box.com at all. Box Drive has become unreliable lately, and users are being forced to manually upload files via desktop to ensure their files sync. Please fix!

Terrible Resolution when previewing illustrator files
Box online opens illustrator files which is great ! however they are terribly pixelated and are not usable for reading anything on the actual preview. for more info, images and screen recordings see case id 3364388

Update Box Sync to ignore temporary save files from Terramodel (*.~pr)
Trimble Terramodel is a CAD program similar to AutoCAD or BricsCAD and saves a copy of the main drawing file (PRO files in the case of Terramodel, DWG in the case of AutoCAD) and renames the extension ~PR (AutoCAD equivalent is BAK).
Box needs a simple way of toggling the option to ignore certain file types such as these to prevent syn errors and long scanning sessions during sync.

From Mobile apps, be able to stop autoread to next files
It is when we put several mp3 files into a box folder or share multiple files with others. Then, when accessed these through the box app on a phone .... If we play one, the phone doesn't stop at the end, but goes on to play the next mp3 in the folder or the list of files shared.

Ability to retrieve the number of files for each folder through API
The Box API allows users to get a list of the files contained in a folder, but it does not provide a direct way to get the number of files per folder, so we would like to provide a way to get the number of files.

Limit the number of files that can be uploaded in the Box Web App
The request is to include a setting within the Admin Console to limit the number of files that can be uploaded at one time through the Box Web App.
The customer is in insurance (ClaimsPro integration) and is trying to implement functionality to make a work item when someone uploads more documents for a claim than is allowed.
When users upload too many documents, the job will run multiple times while the documents are being uploaded, creating multiple work items. They are unable to reduce the run frequency of the job and are hoping to limit the amount of uploads…1 vote -
Subfolder Sync: Don't Sync the Files Located in the Parent Folder Path
One of the nuances of Box Sync 4.X's 'subfolder sync' feature is that files that are located in the folders of the parent path for the synced subfolder are also synced, which creates a weird, and unexpected, experience for end users.

REQUEST: Fix this behavior so that even when only a subfolder is marked for 'syncing', none of the files in the parent folders are also inadvertently synced, and instead only sync the parent folders to keep the path in tact.
