1. Add Categories or Tags to Organize AI Agents in Box AI Studio

   The ability to create AI agents in Box AI Studio is extremely useful. However, as the number of AI agents increases, it becomes increasingly difficult to find the right agent when using Box AI.

   I would like to request a feature that allows users to better organize and find their AI agents. Possible solutions could be:
   - Allowing users to assign categories to AI agents, which could also be arranged in a hierarchical structure
   - Enabling the addition of multiple tags to each AI agent, along with the ability to filter or search by these tags

2. I would like the restrictions on Box AI to be lifted or reduced.

   It's great that the Box AI query limit has been lifted.
   Next, we would like to see the following three limits lifted or reduced.
   ・Limited to 1,000 characters per question
   ・Text content size limit is 1MB, with larger files only processing the first 1MB of text
   ・Non-English languages may produce lower quality results

3. While in Outlook, the ability to drag & drop files directly into Box folders - not via the Box Web App, directly from Outlook

   Insurance companies still heavily rely on working with emails. The current Box for Outlook integration is one way, ie. you can share documents out from Outlook.
   Insurance companies require the ability to drag and drop files directly from Outlook into Box files without leveraging the Box Web App.

4. Cannot select text in Box preview screen

   When previewing a file, attempting to select text within the file results in a state where a yellow frame is being specified instead, making it impossible to select the text. I would like this to be fixed so that text selection is possible.

5. Allow folder recursion of checkbox unticking of "Only folder owners and co-owners can sent collabator invites"

   The behavior when unsetting the "Only folder owners and co-owners can sent collabator invites" is unpredictale. When unticking the checkbox at a high folder level, it may or may not propagate to enclosed folders in the so-called waterfall method like folder permissions do. Some folders will reflect the checkbox being unticked, while others will not. The only way to be sure currently is to manually traverse each subfolder and untick as needed.

6. Support for Pasting Multiple Email Addresses in Box Hubs and Box AI Features

   When selecting “Enable for selected users and groups,” I noticed that the text area for entering email addresses does not support pasting multiple email addresses at once. Currently, it requires entering each address individually, either by typing or pasting one by one, which is time-consuming when enabling the feature for multiple users.

   Would it be possible to enhance this functionality to allow pasting multiple email addresses at once, similar to how collaborators can be invited to folders?

7. Quota Storage reporting

   We have implemented Storage Quotas for our users and need a way to view if users are reaching their quotas. The only current way we have of doing this is doing a Users Details report and comparing the Storage Used and Storage Allocated fields. Have a dedicated Storage Quota report that shows percentage used and even projected dates for running out of space would be nice.

8. Box AI Q/A on a folder

   Currently, if you want to use Q/A on multiple files, you need to be able to select each file or put the content in a hub. It would be good if we were able to use Box AI with a selected folder(s) as context instead of just files.

9. Request to add a function to select target items for output in the Shared Link Report

   In the current Shared Link Report filters, it is not possible to specify the targets of the output items, such as files, folders, or Hubs.
   Since all shared link information is output, there are many items, and extracting the necessary information takes a significant amount of time.

   To reduce operational workload when performing an inventory of Box Hub shared links, we would like the ability to limit the output items to Hubs only.

10. Enable Cross‑Owner Folder Moves for Users with Sufficient Permissions (e.g., Editor)

    Even if a user is not an administrator or the folder owner, we would like them to be able to move folders across different owners when they have sufficient permissions (e.g., Editor) on the target folder.
    To allow administrators to control this behavior, please provide a setting like the following.
    Feature requested:
    Add a toggle (policy) in the Admin console or folder settings to allow / disallow “folder moves that involve a change of ownership.”

    We believe this will significantly improve end‑user convenience and operational efficiency, while allowing flexible control in accordance with each organization’s security policy.

    [Current status]
    Currently, folder moves that involve a change of ownership are allowed only for “administrators” or “folder owners.”
    However, in our company, folder ownership is distributed, and as a result there are many folders with different owners.
    End users often organize and move folders without being aware of the owner, which frequently results in errors such as “You cannot move this folder because it has a different owner.”

    [User impact]
    End users cannot flexibly organize the folder structure despite having permissions (e.g., Editor), which reduces operational efficiency.
    Every time an error occurs, they must request and coordinate with the owner or administrator, increasing operational overhead.
    It is difficult for users to understand “why the move cannot be completed,” which degrades the overall user experience.

11. Change the wording in the log in / Homepage

    Could the wording on the home page be changed to read "Employee of..." instead of "Part of ...."? We share Box with external users and the wording is confusing as they are part of the company but do not work for it.

12. Masking Sensitive Fields in a Box Form

    Posting a customer feature request:

    Box to mask the field while the person is filling out the Box form. (i.e. Right after the SSN field is inputted, the Form field automatically gets masked).

    Also requesting to have the fields masked in viewing a form submission within Box.

    Ideally when building out the form, we can have a checklist next to the field indicating "mask for sensitivity" or something like that.

13. Color annotations available when Offline on Mobile

    For use of Box document management functionality on mobile and tablet, we would like Box mobile to provide offline functionality, IE when the device goes offline, we would like a user to have the following capability
    - be able to view the document offline INCLUDING all the annotations that existed on it.
    
    - be able to create more annotations on the document WHILE offline
    - those annotations merged back to the online version when the device comes back online.

    Use Case: For field engineers that work in shifts in areas with limited and patchy internet access, they need to access a document (during their shift hours whether internet is availble or not) and all its annotations (notes and comments) from the previous engineer's shift. They also need to make their observations and comments on the document (even if offline), return to their office where the document annotations synch to the online version, for the next shift worker to take over and resume their work.

15. I would like you to add a feature that prohibits the creation of free accounts using company-owned domains.

    Based on the following circumstances, it is desirable for system administrators to manage accounts, including license management:
    ① Creating free accounts using a company-owned domain requires time to integrate them with managed users.
    ② Since SSO is used, even if a free account is created, it cannot actually be used to access Box.

16. Box File Request - no longer on brand for us - we would like to be able to change the picture or leave as a solid color

    We utilize the File Request links regularly for our clients. Recently, there has been a change to the cover picture, and now our clients can't easily identify that it is, in fact, our branding and under our purview. We would like to go back to having a solid color that we can customize/match to the rest of our Box site or be able to customize the picture choice.

18. Want to Restore Data Within a Specified Period

    Content: The current Box feature does not have the capability to restore data within a specified period.
    　　　　While you can check the deletion date within the trash, it takes time to verify if a large amount of content has been deleted, making immediate response difficult.

19. Right click on a piece of information displayed on an Apps view in order to be able to copy it directly

    It would be extremely helpful to be able to right click and copy information directly from a Box Apps grid view.

    This will help us to easily paste into an external system and also into the Box search app we have created to look for the actual documents being requested.

20. Export Relay Workflows as a JSON file, and use JSON file for updating workflows

    Some customers have a large number of Relay Workflows that can be cumbersome to edit or update if changes to internal processes are made that affect a large number of flows. Having the option to download the JSON and edit that file, then reupload the JSON can allow them an easier way to make changes to existing workflows with bulk edits.
