1. Box AI - Agent - Source Control Like Ability, Versioning?

   The prompts, models and other parts of the AI agent will be treated like code and any changes can impact a process or pipeline. It will be important to make it easy for firms to test new models before adopting them. Likewise, someone could easily make a prompt change and the old version would be gone. Either versioning, source control, especially recording which model was previously used will be helpful with extraction use cases.

2. Ability to rotate multi-page TIFF files in Box Preview

   For scanning use cases, Content is typically scanned into Box as a TIFF file that can have multiple pages. For review purposes, it would be great to have the ability to rotate individual apges of the TIFF file if they were scanned incorrectly. Otherwise, end users have to download the multi-page TIFF file to rotate files. For our use case, downloading files to local disk should be avoided because of the sensitivity of the files.

3. Support for Other Templates and Legacy File Formats

   Hi Team,

   We are looking for Box Drive and Box Web to support additional Word, Excel, and other office templates and file formats so we can save these into Box.

   Currently Box only supports a few modern formats like .docx and .xlsx for word and excel for example, but we are using several other templates and formats as you can see in the screenshot below.

   Please consider broader support for other types of files for office going forward.

4. Box version(s) report

   It would be nice to be able to generate a report that shows a file's number of versions.

   We'd like to change our versioning number at an Enterprise level, but we cannot see how many versions of a file any user has at a time.

   It would be nice to be able to pull a report on 'Versions' of a file so that we can see who has over X# of versions of one file and email them about the upcoming change. Currently, there doesn't seem to be a way to find this information.

5. Search within a folder using words from your search history

   When words used in a folder search are displayed as search history, clicking on the word will result in a global search.
   I would like to be able to search for words in the search history used in a folder search again within the same folder.

   A large enterprise customer is currently evaluating the effectiveness of Box's classification policies and need to audit their configurations to ensure they align with intended design and behavior. However, given current UI constraints that only show up to 100 folders listed under a classification policy (even though there are ~600 items under the policy), the only way to view or verify policy construction is to delete and rebuild these policies. Additionally, they noted the lack of ability to scope policies by user account or even root folders is a major hinderance in their testing and overall scalability of the solution. If they could scope policies by user or root folder, this policy would be well under the 100 item scale limitation

9. Display more info in "Groups" tab of "Users & Groups" menu and the link to the shared folders the group has access to

   It would be great to have more info in the group tab, like:
   * More columns: display "Permissions settings" and if it's synched from external or created locally on box.com
   * Also on the shared folder when we go to a group, need the lin to the folder, there's only the name and we need to go to different menu to try identify the good folder shared (there can be many with same name, need to find the good one shared to the group, often too difficult)

10. I am struggling with basic functionality of box i.e. sharing a folder with external users.

    I followed simple steps to use box application to share some business information with external stakeholder.
    1. Created a folder
    2. Uploaded my files
    3. Clicked on share button at the top right corner and added the email addresses of folks I want to share with
    4. Gave them viewer access

    Result:
    1. I can see in sharing panel these new users have pending requests
    2. The users get email notification to access the folder but when they click they get an error 403.

    It has happened multiple times, for some users the process is smooth, others it always throws errors. I have tried removing and adding them again but doesn't work.

    I followed simple steps to use box application to share some business information with external stakeholder.

    box AI for meeting transcripts

    Will Box AI have capability to capture speech and write into Box Notes? We use Box Notes for all our internal meetings so having Box AI in Box Notes is great but could it also capture the meeting discussion and create a full transcript of the meeting? Maybe via Box Mobile or using Zoom integration with Box? Thinking similar to GONG call recordings.

13. Remember mobile number and county for box sign SMS authentication

    When using box sign we assign a signer based on searching for a signer as most of the time they have signed documents previously.

    For each signer we need to then manually enable SMS authentication, select the country and re-enter their mobile number.

    It would be fantastic if a mobile number and country were remembered for previous signers, prefilling these fields.

14. Shield Dashboard Enhancement Request - View detailed reports directly from dashboard graphs

    The Shield dashboard shows three different graphs about detected alerts, but in order to get the details, we have to output a separate user activity report.
    Since we want to see problems immediately on the spot, we would like to see improvements that would allow us to quickly see the details of alerts without having to leave the dashboard UI, such as being able to click on a graph to be taken to a page with more detailed information.

    問題があった場合はその場ですぐ確認したいので、ダッシュボードのUIから離れることなく、グラフをクリックすれば詳細情報が表示されるページに遷移するなど、クイックにアラートの詳細が確認できるような改善を希望します。

    We are experiencing an issue where the layout of PDF files is distorted on the preview screen. For example, issues such as line breaks being misaligned or fonts being changed from the original PDF file are occurring. We understand that your company's support site states that you cannot guarantee 100% reproducibility, but we have received strong requests for improvement from customers who have signed contracts with us and use Box, so we would appreciate it if you could proceed with the improvement.

16. Change the Send From Email

    Have the ability to send from another email, so instead of sending a contract from a specific user, i can send from a company email instead. Additionally we have multiple emails we send contracts from so i would like to select which email to send as.

    These are branded so its important its coming from the correct brand.

17. Placing the file on BOX folder.

    Currently, if anyone wants to upload a file from his local drive he can hold and drag the file to BOX folder in BOX UI.

    In addition to above, user should have feature of copying by Ctrl + Copy & then pasting that file by Ctrl + P in BOX UI as we normally have in other apps e.g. Microsoft Outlook.

18. HTML files should also be supported by Box AI

    Currently, HTML files are not supported by Box AI.
    As we move forward with the use of Box AI, we have a department that frequently uses HTML files, and that department requested that we use Box AI to obtain information from HTML files.
    As such, we would like you to improve this so that HTML files are also supported by Box AI.

20. Setting Folder Autodelete via API

    The automatic deletion date of a folder can be set from the web screen, but it seems that it cannot be set from the API.

    Could you please provide the ability to set this date from the API?

    We have a process that automatically creates thousands of folders using the API, but since it is not possible to set an automatic deletion date, a large number of past folders will continue to remain.
