Ability to turn off optional message field on shared link email and add collaborator dialogs
Many customers in regulated industries do NOT like the fact that some email notifications from Box have the ability to enter an optional message that will be included as part of the notification. Because this email bypass the customer email gateway they don't have visibility into what that message is. This feature is a compliance issue and should have the ability to turn it off.
The Box Compliance Email Archive is not sufficient for some customers and that is why one way to solve this would be disabling the feature.

Sender info in Relay
I would like you to add a setting for "who" went to the BoxRelay event.
For example, when managing files for the same task in the same folder, if the person in charge (uploader) and the confirmer (notification recipient) are different for each file, it would be convenient to be able to set different notification recipients according to the uploader.Thank you for your consideration.

Ability to control and mute email notifications that comes from tasks
Whenever a task is assigned via an automation, that task is assigned by the main admin, who will also receive email notifications regarding the task.
Because this is done through automations, the admin will get flooded with emails about the task, which is not desirable in a large organization.

Mass enable notifications under Account Settings --> Sharing - General Email and Notification
We want to encourage people to rely on messages in Box as well as via email if more appropriate. Currently, the default is that the email notifications are turned off. We would like to be able to choose to default ON with individuals deselecting if they prefer.

Box for Slack integration does not trigger a notification for uploads
Box for Slack integration currently does not notify when files are uploaded to a folder. Please add this functionality to allow users to be notified whenever a file is uploaded.

Include types of virus for Virus alert email
Include which type of virus contained in virus notification alert email. If types of virus includes in alert, admin is able to identify that alert email was accurate.

box sync ignore files
Are you kindly considering adding a feature to skip / ignore certain paths (directories, files) stored on local machine from syncing? Some examples of situations where inability to exclude files from backup causes undesired issues: 1) There are programs which store temporary files among synced folders. These temporary files frequently change and are deleted on program exit, which results into frequent unnecessary synchronization and deletion of files in cloud, therefore waste of computing resources and bandwidth. 2) Specific program creates empty file "running" to indicate it's in running state. Request for addition of a function to change the display unit of the storage size of insights in the management console
Currently, the display units for the overall size and the detailed size are different, and I would like to convert the units depending on whether I want to see a rough view or see more details, but it would be a hassle to convert each.

Instead of stalling/killing workflow when file to be moved is still open, pause and send notifications to close file
Workflows currently stall (=die) if a file is meant to be moved following a task assignment, where the assignee edits the file and "Marks as complete" without having closed the file's tab. This can happen quite commonly: a user is asked to input edits into a file, so they open the file in the relevant Office online app (eg Excel online), and when they're done editing, if they forget to close the Excel online tab in their browser before going back to the BOX preview tab where they click on "Mark as Complete", then the workflow stalls. Customize frequency of task email notifications
Currently there are 3 emails when assigning a task.
-First email is when the task is assigned
-Second email is a reminder that the task is due (one day before)
-Third email is a reminder that the task is past due (one day after)I'd like to have the ability in the admin console to customize the frequency of these notifications. Expired Shared Link Notification to Owner
Today, if I click on an expired shared link I cannot access the file. Ideally, I'd like the content owner to be notified if I click on the expired shared link so that they know that I'm trying to access it/can make it available to me.

Security Report: Include Changes to Any Setting from Enterprise Settings
Currently, the Security Report doesn't appear to capture quite a few settings changes that happen in Enterprise Settings in the Admin console, which is bad.
For example, if an admin is wanting to know who changed the 'save files to device' setting on the Admin Console -> Enterprise Settings -> Mobile tab, there's no in-product way currently to identify that. Also,

Ability to CC a non-signer on a sign request, or to change the sender email
Ability to CC a non-signer on a sign request. Sometimes the client doesn't recognize the admin person sending the sign request and refuses to sign. It would help to be able to CC their sales rep so the request looks more legitimate.
Alternatively, I'd like the ability to change who the Box Sign email comes from, so the email notification requesting signature can appear to come from the client's sales rep instead of the admin setting up the signature.

(Android) Usage of Android App Bundles
This would reduce the installation size of Box by a significant amount on Android devices. I personally suffer from inadequate storage space, so this would be extremely useful for users like me.

As an admin, I should be able to designate a folders zone (not restricted by the user).
In a closed environment where you have a single user designated as the owner, you are currently unable to utilize multiline tenancy. In an instance where UK HR Files need to have a zone of UK and US HR Files need to be in the US zone, I would need to create a separate service account to own each set of files.
Ideally you would be able to designate anything containing PII/PIA/IP to a root folder with a designated zone based on data storage compliance. Allowing multiple users to access without worrying about the need for unnecessary service accounts which…

offline files and selective sync
I would like to see the ability to mark files and folders for local or offline storage. Currently box drive allows for only the folder to be marked offline or downloaded locally. When I don't need to have a file downloaded anymore there is not a way for me to mark them offline. I have tried marking the folder offline but that doesn't work to make the files I want offline. Additionally, this would cause all files that I do want locally to become offline. Dropbox currently has the ability to selectively sync the files and or folders that…

Relay Workflow to follow messages/ notifications to activities
It would be super helpful if you could use Box Relay to let a notification follow an activity. I know that you can generate tasks, but in that case I just want to let a certain group of users know that there is new content in a folder. A notification would be the best way to do this.

Ability to Dismiss Error Messages Not Just Retry
Error messages show up every morning and there is no way to clear them other than to Retry them. They are legitimate errors where the solution was to do something different, which I did, and my initial issue was resolved. However, these error messages persist, and retrying them will always produce the same error. There is no “dismiss” option. Since retrying them will will always produce the same error, there is no way to get rid of these errors.
Box Support documentation gives no other option but to Retry. There is nothing listed about clearing messages that cannot be resolved…

Allow Web-Sorting by Author’s Last Date Modified
Ours are legal documents and their Last Date Modified (by us, or by an author. NOT the date uploaded to Box) is a critical date. Some dates are many years old, created long before being uploaded to Box.
It's used in locating a single file among thousands. Do you seriously propose that our collaborators open the Properties of each file (among many hundreds) to see the Properties of each so as to locate the one file they need? What a terrible waste of Users’ time.
