1. Additional Relay Approval options beyond Go to Outcome 1 and End the flow

   When using an approval task and sending a notification you are given two options, End the flow and Go to outcome 1. I'd like to be able to advise it to go to Outcome 2 or Outcome 3 of the workflow so things are more flexible in more complex workflows.

2. Ability to send BOX email notifications from own domain using M365

   Hello, this post applies to both regular BOX notifications and BOX sign. Many of our send requests and notifications are getting caught in spam and quarantine filters. This is happening both externally and internally, especially for BOX sign requests. We want to be able to integrate our O365 or GSuite domains into BOX so that all of these notifications (internal and external) are sent from our domain and show in our O365 history. This would dramatically speed up the adoption of BOX sign and we want the audit ability. Thank you!

3. Add "FOLDER.TRASHED" event trigger to Webhooks v2

   The existing event trigger "FOLDER.DELETED" only triggers a notification when a folder is permanently removed (deleted from Trash). Currently, there is no option to receive a webhook notification if a folder is sent to the trash. "FOLDER.MOVE" does not capture this action either.

4. Privileged delete

   This notion exists with legacy storage or RM systems. From a business perspective, this is something we would need in case of business divestiture.

   Then, content under retention related to the divested branch/subsidiary/activity would have to be transferred to its new owner.

5. Identify locally any failed uploads

   Hi, we have had users send entire folders with dozens if not hundreds of subfolders up to Box via Box Drive. In some cases, since they aren't reviewing all of the content they are uploading, there are some failures (inappropriate file or folders names, unsupported file types, etc). Box Drive names the failed uploads but offers no way to identify them in the Box Drive folder structure on the local machine. There are no icon changes that might identify those containing folders which have the failed uploads within them. A simple right click in the notification to show the offending file in Explorer or Finder would do wonders.

6. Toggle the Activity bar or Side by Side off and On when using an IPAD.

   This is regarding the newest version of the IOS APP on an IPAD . When a user is using their IPAD as a laptop or in Landscape mode, the default is to have the Side by Side on. This shows a Blank Activities Pane. It would be great to only show the activities Pane if there are any notes. However the user should have the ability to toggle the bar, and regain the screen real estate.

7. Make all notifications visible at-a-glance again. This functionality was just removed.

   As of today, employees in our company are noticing that the full Notifications page is no longer available in Box Web, and notifications have been moved to a small drop-down menu in the corner. A chat with a member of Box support confirmed that this is a product-wide change.

   The problem with this drop-down menu is that comments cannot be read in full anymore, as they are being truncated to fit in the small pane.

   Can either 1) the full Notifications page be made available again for users/organizations who wish to keep it, or 2) the new drop-down menu have a control to expand it and show notifications in full?

8. Turn off Collaborator email notifications on Version updates

   Many of our collaborators have complained that they don't need to receive the numerous email updates every time minor document versions/revisions occur. Administrators and Owners of a Folder should be able to turn User Alerts both On and Off, when they want to alert recipients that an item's revisions are significant. It is unrealistic and impractical to tell our Executives that they personally have to drill down in their settings and turn off email notifications as an end user on their own device - that should be an Admin Console function.

   Admins and Owners should be able to adjust the email notifications for all end users based on their determination of whether it is worth notifying authorized Viewers of such changes.

    The current Admin console defaults to the below columns with no way to customize for better productivity:
    Name
    Email
    User ID
    Role
    Status
    Storage Used

    This request would allow the Main admin account to customize which columns are displayed while looking at your Users and Groups page. These custom column choices can be chosen from the custom Tags (which are already a feature). Allowing important information to be seen at a glance rather than having to go into each user to get additional pertinent information.

14. Box Legal Hold Export API

    The current Box Legal Hold Exports function becomes difficult to manage at scale. The export process itself generates "batch" zip files that need to be manually downloaded via the user interface. Because the zip files are limited to 5,000 files or aprox 16 GB, I have one user to export who has over 500 "batch" zip files to download. The API does not support directly downloading these batch files. A way to bulk download or programmatically download these batch files is essential when exporting a very large (either in pure storage size or in number of files) user hold.

15. Help Microsoft to Fix Entra SSO Auto-Provisioning

    We have confirmed with Microsoft a bug in Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO Auto-Provisioning, where an update of any user attribute also updates the user's Allocated Storage (a.k.a. space_amount) to Unlimited (a.k.a. a very high number). Since Microsoft offers the integration as an Enterprise Application, they need to fix this.

    In the meantime, Box should document the situation, do whatever they can to offer a workaround, and assist Microsoft to expedite the fix.

16. Augment existing collaborator permissions in inherited subfolders

    Scenario:

    Folder A is shared with User X with Viewer permission
    Folder B is a subfolder of Folder A, on which User X requires Editor permission

    According to support, the only way to accomplish this in the web UI is to first remove User X as a collaborator on Folder A, add them as an Editor on Folder B, and then re-add them as a Viewer on Folder A

    This is clunky, annoying, and results in a lot of extra notifications.

    Clearly this is supported by the underlying file system because you can do it directly with the Box CLI:

    box collaborations:create <folder ID> folder --role editor --group-id <group ID> --no-notify --as-user <user ID>

    This results in the correct assignment. However while trying to do this in the web UI, an inheritance warning prompt appears and will change the collaborators permission at the parent level too, which is not desired.

    This seems to be a very common use case and I'm shocked at the app behaving this way. Please fix this! We need to be able to augment inherited permission on subfolders from the web UI.

    I need a solution for preventing files downloaded from the web from being saved directly to my device. This puts sensitive client information on the device and requires me to delete the file after uploading it to Box, and hackers can still find information on a hard drive that has been "deleted". It would be much more secure if I could select Box as the browser's location where all downloads are stored. It seems this should be possible with Box's browser extension.

    Box Drive is not an acceptable solution for this since it is just as accessible as all the other storage locations on my computer should my computer be compromised.

20. GDPR- PII Detection

    Increase PII detection templates from just three Social Security no, Credit card and Custom text to more as offered by other DLP products in the marketplace.

    In addition to real-time detection, also allow discovery of the legacy data utilizing the same templates. Notification on detection could include an on-screen warning/ policy tip in addition to email and file quarantine options etc.
