Ability to customize promotion settings
Please add a setting to not show the promotion that appears when users starts Box Drive.
That promotion can be confusing because it forces the user to see it even if the company does not allow that feature.1 vote -
Expand number of folders displayed in folder hierarchy
Our team works in incredibly deep folder structures and would appreciate the opportunity to view all subfolders in the folder hierarchy to more easily navigate through our folder structure. For example, if someone shares a file with me and it's in the "trailers" folder, it's very difficult for me to tell which project this is associated with unless I navigate many levels up in the folder structure to see a folder with the project name. Launch Zoom inside of Box
Launch a Zoom video from directly inside of Box web UI, Box Notes, etc.
The same way that you can launch a Google Meet video conference directly inside of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.

Upon folder upload via web or Drive, if any files fail due to file/path name limit, provide a list of those files
When a file path exceeds 255 characters, the file would in some circumstances (e.g on Windows), fail from upload. When an entire folder is moved, there is no way of knowing if or how many files may have failed to upload. This is due to OS limitation, but a Box notification or a report could at least allow a manual transfer or shortening the names of the impacted files.

Blocked Files: Allow Users Not to Be Prompted Every Time They Launch
We keep .qbw files in Box and we are aware that Drive does not support them. However, every user gets a Drive error every time they launch and it's confusing for end users.

Collections Page as My Homepage
So as designed, I think "My Collections page" is underutilized. Sure here is the only place you can edit/delete your collections and their titles...but this would be a wonderful place to drive users too as their homepage. Obviously, you all thought of that as well since it can be selected as "My Homepage" but right now I think a lot of folks won't want to because there isn't enough useful information on the basic page.
Please allow the user to better configure this page or at least have the collections unfurled/unnested. So that each time they go to this page…

Bring back home directory "mountpoint" on the mac
I don't know if it's just me, or some problem with the privacy etc settings that have been a moving target with OSX lately, but after my latest reboot on a fully updated MacBook I was greeted with a popup from Box Drive saying it is now fully MacOS 12 compatible, and lo and behold, my /Users/app/Box directory is gone. I can only access Box files from the Explorer, but not the command line. I never looked into what the Box drive was exactly, a link, a mountpoint, no idea, but I miss it badly.

Ability to edit shared link settings on Desktop
Currently, the only way to generate a shared link on Desktop is to generate the default style link (i.e. shared only within your company).
In order to get to the share settings window dialogue, you currently need to open the file on web.
It would be great to incorporate the share window dialogue natively in PC/Mac. This is a common feature currently available on OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive.

User logged in local value
Feature Request: A local value that can be read to determine if a user is logged into Box Drive.
This would be useful for launching custom workflows depending on if the user is logged in or not.

Box passwords user experience
Two issues I'd like to highlight that is significantly making the Box user experience for my users (and me) extremely frustrating.
1) Box Drive sign in experience
When my users try to sign into Box Drive and input incorrect passwords multiple times and keep trying, they get a captcha response requirement to continue trying. It's simply broken. It requires images to be selected but this process always gets stuck in an endless loop. I can confirm this from dealing with this on multiple systems running Box Drive and 100% of the time it got stuck in a loop. This captcha…1 vote -
Allow Device Trust to be able to specify drives/disks to include or exclude for the 'full disk encryption' setting.
Currently, if the setting is enabled, it applies to all disks/drives instead of allowing the ability to pick and choose drives to include.
Our company has multiple drives, and one particular drive doesn't need to be encrypted on their end and isn't, but they aren't able to access Box because the 'full disk encryption' setting is enabled in Device Trust, and there's no way to exclude this particular disk.

This is available to set up in a custom environment. However, we do not plan to create an in-product solution to address this need.

Downloading from websites.
There should be a direct way to download a webpage into Box. I can directly download into Google Drive but not Box. Box requires a 2-step process. First I need to download to my device and then I can upload to Box.

Unable to add URLs ( Internet Shortcuts) to Box Folders
Favorite URLs ( Internet Shortcuts) are unable to drag and drop on Box folders, while the same is available for local folders ( C Drive). I find this very frustrating and limiting our ability to use BOX. Please resolve this issue urgently.

Big Sur - File copy
Since updating to Big Sur when I drag a file from BOX drive to my desktop it MOVES the file, deleting it from BOX. In prior OS the file would be copied to my desktop, leaving the file on BOX as well. Please revert back to the previous behavior where dragging a file to the desktop makes a copy.
Also, I no longer have a BOX folder on my desktop. I found this helpful as well.

Two User accounts on same Windows 10 computer
There should be a possibility that two users on the same windows 10 computer, each user separately logging into his/her own windows account, could each log into his/her own box account and use box drive. BoxDrive is much more convenient that to go via the browser. This seems not possible now.
Additionally it is annoying that the the box drive shows up for login when the second user enters the windows account, and if startup of box is switched off for that user, then it is also switched off for the main user (the admin user who has made the…1 vote -
Ability to sync specific folder manually on Marking for Offline only if needed.
Ability to sync specific folder manually for Marking for Offline only if needed.
And, Drive should be added new icons for this.
When PC comes online, if the latest version is available, something icons on folders indicates you can get a new update on the folder.
it would be very helpful to notice them need to update on the folder.

CrowdStrike's ability to filter device protection by IP address
Box Shield allows you to protect your devices with CrowdStrike.
Once CrowdStrike is enabled, you will not be able to log in on devices that do not have Box Tools installed.
Therefore, if you have a device that cannot be installed on Box Tools, such as Linux, you will not be able to use CrowdStrike's protection of your device.
Only when calling from a specific IP address should CrowdStrike policies be applied.
There is a need to not want the policy to be applied to unmanaged devices, so we would like a function that allows us to narrow down…2 votes -
Service Accounts should be rate limited differently than user accounts
Currently, when you use a service account to access Box API's, in order to get access to content you need to use the As-User header "impersonate" users in order to access the files that are owned by then.
So if you are doing something like using a service account to crawl through all the files in a folder in box, you would need to use the As-User header in order to impersonate a user who owns/has access to each file while doing it.
But there is a huge problem here is that the rate limiting is done using the As-User…
