Reflect Power Point page number settings in Box preview
When page numbers are inserted in Power Point starting from the slide following the cover page and the slide start number is set to 0, there is a difference in the page numbers when viewed from the Power Point desktop application and when previewed in Box.
In the Power Point app, the slide on the page following the cover page has a page number of 1, but in the Box preview screen it is 2.There is no workaround for users invited with previewer or shared via a view-only shared link, as they cannot edit or download.

External references between Excel files saved in Box by URL.
In Excel saved in SharePoint, the URL can be used to refer to the value of a cell in the other Excel file.
We would like a similar functionality in Box.
For example, if the file ID is "1234567890" and we want to refer to cell A1 of "sheet1", do the following.

Are you kindly considering adding a feature to skip / ignore certain paths (directories, files) stored on local machine from syncing? Some examples of situations where inability to exclude files from backup causes undesired issues: 1) There are programs which store temporary files among synced folders. These temporary files frequently change and are deleted on program exit, which results into frequent unnecessary synchronization and deletion of files in cloud, therefore waste of computing resources and bandwidth. 2) Specific program creates empty file "running" to indicate it's in running state. Add notifications to Box for EMM
In the Box Web browser, I can confirm that the new mention is on the left side menu "notifications" with red ● when new notifications appear. We'd like to have those notifications within Box for EMM too.

Box Note Table Functions
We want to be able to use equations/functions in Box Notes Tables similar to Excel or Google Sheets functionality. For example, typing AVERAGE = (B2:B4) into cell B5 would find the average of cells B2 through B4.
This would be a very helpful update.

Box Drive uses all upload bandwidth when sync
Set an option to limit the upload (optional and the download) bandwidth when sync is in progress or upload large files, because when devices are connected to slow internet lines, it consumes the entire bandwidth and cannot work properly.

Merge PDFs generated when uploading with Box Sign
Every time you upload a file to Box Sign, a PDF file is generated, which can make the data cluttered.
Is it possible to make it so that only the final combined data is generated as a PDF file?

Would like to have a customizable box that an end user could check that they have read when first using Box AI - this box could point to our AI governance and terms. Ideally, they check that they've read the disclaimer and can then us Box AI against their files.

Box Relay - ability to share a folder to a group
In Box Relay it would be nice to be able to share a folder to a group and not only to users.
Entering all the members of the group one by one can be time consuming and over time the members of a group evolve, which means that the Box Relay settings have to be changed.12 votes -

Use Box Group as a Signer of Box Sign and only one user from it needs to sign
I would like to use Box Group as a signer of Box Sign.
In addition, I only need one user from that group to sign it.The use case we have is when someone from a specific department needs to approve the document but it can be approved by anyone from that department.

Box-Netsuite Bundle
For the Netsuite/Box bundle, it would be better to not require the user to choose whether to create a Box folder or use the default on each folder. This should be a setting that the administrator can choose.

Prevent modals (Box AI and New Collection) from closing when clicking outside
We would like to request a change to the behavior of modal windows, specifically for Box AI and the "Create New Collection" screen. Currently, these modals close automatically if a user clicks anywhere outside the modal area. I request that they remain open unless the "Close" or "Cancel" button is explicitly clicked.
Reasoning:

- Currently, the size of PDF files obtained when we scan a document via the Box mobile app, is very large.
