2. disable public links globally with exceptions

   We would like to disable public link sharing for all users, but enable a single folder public link sharing available where staff can put files that can be shared publicly. We don't want staff to accidentally share public links from other locations in Box, only from a single folder designated for public links. Otherwise, we need to move public link files to another provider, such as Google Drive.

3. Box AI agent - configuring response with username & Add custom suggested questions

   Scenario:
   We're setting up Box AI Agent for our HR team.

   Issues we ran into:

   Personalisation:
   We can't include usernames in the AI’s responses because account information isn’t part of the selected hub. Even when using custom instructions, this information isn’t accessible.

   Custom Questions:
   We aren’t able to add customised potential questions when setting up the AI Agent, which would help guide users and improve the experience.

   Why this matters to us:
   For HR, it’s important that people feel cared for and personally supported. Being able to personalise the AI’s responses and customise its questions would help us create a better, more human experience for our colleagues. We believe many organisations share this value and would benefit from having more flexibility in how the AI Agent can be configured.

5. Streamline CFR Part 11 Authentication for Multiple Signatures

   When signing a document that requires multiple signatures from the same user, Box Sign currently prompts for CFR Part 11 authentication for each individual signature. This can be inefficient and frustrating, especially for longer documents. We propose enhancing Box Sign to require authentication only once per signing request—while still maintaining regulatory compliance.

8. Register another group to the group

   Currently, in Box, groups can only be added by user.
   For example, a user who displays “BoxHubs” in the service menu is in Group A, and a user who has the “BoxAI for Hubs” privilege is in Group B. If we could add Group A to Group B, we would be able to add users who can create Hubs and use AI in Hubs, and users who can use AI in Hubs.
   If we can add Group A to Group B, we can have “users who can create Hubs and use AI in Hubs” and “users who can create Hubs but not use AI in Hubs” and “users who can create Hubs but not use AI in Hubs”.
   If we can add Group A to Group B, we can have “users who can create Hubs and use AI in the Hubs” and “users who cannot create Hubs but can use AI in the invited Hubs”, which will be easier for the administrator to manage

9. More Error Information - Specified Logins are deactivated or invalid

   I am adding a user to Box Relay or a similar app where I need to add a user. I get an Error that says "Specified login(s) are deactivated or otherwise invalid. Please remove them from the list before saving."

   Now I have to somehow know what user was deactivated???? If there is an error, tell me what user is having the issue or do not give me the error. When the user is removed, it will go away.

   Very frustrating to have to go through a list of random users to add a user.

10. Disable automatic in-domain creation of Managed User account

    Currently, Box allows an unmanaged user to become a paid Managed user "automatically" if someone within the domain invites another email within the same domain. Only Co-Admins and Primary Admins should be able to authorize a paid seat. Or there should be an option in settings to turn that on ability on or off.

11. Shuttle

    If we use the Box Shuttle feature to migrate data, the update timestamp will be recorded as the time the data was uploaded. We would prefer to manage the timestamp according to the last modified date of the files before migration rather than the upload date. Is it possible to switch the timestamp display setting?

12. Enterprise Advanced plan accounts cannot purchase seats directly in-app

    After recently upgrading to Enterprise Advanced we can no longer add seat licenses as we previously could. It is REALLY frustrating to do a contract ammendment each time we need to add a batch of users to a growing organization.

13. Issue signature without creating a copy of the document

    The Amazon Gift Cards team is using a Relay workflow to review feedback with vendors and record approvals. Some vendors request that they record a signature once the final design is approved by both parties. If they initiate the signature via Box Sign, it creates a new copy of the document, which does not preserve the comments and annotations from the original file, nor the approval status. It would be ideal for their workflow if they could issue a signature and it would just update the original document, rather than creating a separate, signed copy of the file.

15. I would like to see an option to not send provisioning emails

    You are using Okta's SCIM to automatically create an account for Box.
    The process of creating a Box account is completed immediately, and a welcome message is sent to the email address of the user who created it.
    However, it takes about an hour to create an M365 account, and you won't be able to receive emails until you finish creating your M365 account.

    If a welcome message is sent before the mailbox creation is complete, it will be added to the Suppression List as an invalid email address.

    If you have a small number of accounts to create, you can stagger the start time of the process.
    However, if you have a large number of accounts to be created at once, you will not be able to do the same.
    (It takes about 3 days to handle 7,000 people)
    Therefore, create an option not to send provisioning emails.

16. Viewer cannot copy the contents of a file.

    Viewer can copy the file itself, but not the contents of the file.

    If the file itself can be copied, then the contents of the file should also be copied. This is more intuitive and easier to understand.

    Can we get a report that lists all the metadata values entered into a template for a folder or file. I have users that need reports of the values entered in their metadata templates to validate files and folders have the correct metadata.

19. Ability to act on search results

    Using filters, users are able to achieve granular search results for the files they need. Currently, the only action available on search results is to open 1 document at a time. Users need a way to select all search results and add to a collection, tag, move to folder, export, and other related actions.

20. Get metadata information values from the Relay DocGen menu
