Tenant-level shared link restrictions for Box Hubs
We strictly manage folders and files on Box,
but the ability to select "People with the link" in Box Hubs poses a serious risk of data leakage.
To ensure secure usage,
we request the addition of a tenant-level setting that disables the "People with the link" option for Box Hubs shared links.Without this restriction, it will be difficult to allow users to utilize Box Hubs safely within our organization
7 votesWe have released a feature that allows to block Hubs from being shared publicly via “anyone with the link”:
- Admins can set a global default in Hubs Global Presets to prevent public shared links for all new Hubs.
- Co‑owners can also restrict public shared links at the individual Hub level, as long as the admin hasn’t locked that setting.

Ability to customize promotion settings
Please add a setting to not show the promotion that appears when users starts Box Drive.

excel online previewer for Box Platform
We want to user the Excel online previewer for Box Platform as well.
We are able to open excel files with Excel online previewer when we access from Box.com.

Box Sign is not certified by the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan
＜In order to use Box Sign for registration applications, certification from the Legal Department must be obtained.＞
We usually use Box Sign to conduct our business.
We are considering using Box Sign to approve and sign minutes of board of directors meetings, etc., and to submit the minutes signed with Box Sign as an attachment when registering with the Legal Affairs Bureau.

Box Notes - Ability to collapse/expand sections
Sometimes collaborative Box Notes can get VERY long. It would be great to have a little carat next to each level of heading that would allow you to compress/fold down the sections you're not working on.

Show full filename in Box Search
Box Search cuts off long file names. If the file name is prefaced with the date or other info, the information one actually needs from the file name may be hidden from the user.
This can be solved by making the Box Search window larger, making it as large as the longest filename, or by showing the filename when a user mouses over the filename or file icon, or when a user uses the arrow keys to select (but not yet open) a file in the Box Search results.

I want to open Box Notes in view-only mode
Currently, in Box Notes, it is possible to switch to view-only mode by changing "/notes/" in the URL to "/file/", but this method is not intuitive for users.
Because it is not easy to open notes in view-only mode, users often accidentally edit the notes. We would like to prevent this from happening.
We would like an option to select view-only mode when opening Box Notes from the beginning. It would also be more convenient if it were possible to bookmark Box Notes in view-only mode.

Additional security to Box Sign links in "completed" emails
Box Sign sends an email to a signer (subject "Completed: [name of document]") after all the documents have been signed. This link gives anyone with the link access to the document in question with no additional authentication (e.g. MFA, password, Box login) needed. This link skips folder or Box Shield settings restricting the use of shared links and cannot be manually removed or expired. Email, without any additional protections, is not considered secure enough for transmittal of certain types of protected information (e.g. patient health information under HIPAA). Support the SheetView when using Excel Online by Box Edit
When filtering an excel file on Box by Excel Online, the filter does reflect to the other users. We would like an option to have the independent filter between users. For Microsoft environment, the Sheet View is now generally available so we want the same functionality on Box as well.

Box Sign Template Edit Underlying Document
My customers who use DocuSign today are accustomed to applying a Signature template to a document. For example, I have a contract I am going to make edits to the language of the contract, the date, the dollar amount, etc. and then apply a signature template and send it off.
In Box today, I've found that you can either use a template (but the underlying document cannot be changed) or you can utilize template tags via API (which are handy, but I imagine my less tech savvy clients would find them challenging to set up).45 votesWe've recently released multi-docs support, which as part of it provides the option to replace the underlying document within a signature request / template while keeping the existing field placeholders in place

Search Box Community Help articles from the question mark menu in Box Web
Users should be able to search for help with basic Box concepts right from the Web App.
We suggest adding an input field to the Help (question mark) menu in Box Web.
Users can type phrases like "shared link" or "permissions" and get lead to relevant Box community Help articles.4 votes -
Warning or reminder on unsuccessful transfers
Box Drive should present a pop up when a new unsuccessful transfer occurs, or there's pending transfers that need to be remediated. As of right now, if a user creates a folder or drag and drop folders and files in a location they're not supposed to (no permission, for example), no warning or error message is given to the user.
The files and folders are then listed in "Unsuccessful Transfer" section on Box Drive, but no reminder is given to the user or any warning that their files are in limbo. They could be working for months without knowing…

Microsoft Teams iOS app does not open the specific Box folder.
We're having an issue with Microsoft Teams app on iPhone - Box files plug-in within More tab. It is very possible that this Box Files button in Teams is not designed to link to the specific channel Box folder we have chosen, and instead is designed to redirect us to the All Files page "https://account.box.com/folder/0". On Windows PC, Teams app opens the the specific channel Box folder we have chosen.

Box Note "Active Shared Link" indicator on Sidebar Box
The only way currently to know if a Box Note has an Active Shared Link is to go to the folder which contains it (in the regular Box.com UI, not the Box Notes UI), and look for the "Active Shared Link" icon on the row for the .boxnote file.
I suggest adding this same icon to the sidebar box for the note in the Box Notes UI (i.e. the box you click to load the note in the main right-hand pane).

Notification(s) for Box Notes
In the "Inbox" of Box Notes, any Note that gets updated by someone is conveniently displayed at the top. While this feature is helpful, it can also be bothersome because Notes that I no longer need to see keep appearing at the top of my screen every time someone opens them. Additionally, I’d like to be able to turn off unread notifications for Notes that aren’t relevant to me.
It would be helpful to have a setting that allows users to turn update/unread notifications ON or OFF for each Note individually.
Box Notesの「Inbox」で表示されるBox Notesは、誰かに更新されるたびに分かりやすく一番上に更新されたNoteが表示されます。この機能は便利ですが、もう見る必要がないNoteも誰かが開くたび、自分の画面のトップに表示され続けるため煩わしいです。また、未読通知も自分にとって必要ないものはOFFにしたいです。
ユーザー自身でNoteごとに更新通知/未読通知をON/OFFできる設定があると便利です。
