1. The ability to copy collaboration information from one existing folder to another

   There are cases in which we wants to invite collaborators who are invited to one folder to another folder with the same permissions.

   If we have users with the same permissions, we can save time by inviting multiple users at once or creating a group.
   However, setting different permissions for each user takes man-hours and is prone to error if it is checked only checked visually.

   It would be useful to be able to the ability to set the collaborator permissions of an already created folder to another folder as is.

2. On Admin Console, provide ability to use wild card search for external users.

   On the Admin Console > Users & Groups > External Users, allow users to use a wild card for searches. Currently, the search only performs a "starts with" search on the email address and name. However, this is very limiting and restrictive, especially when we have thousands of external users, and the name field is variable (first last; last first; nicknames, etc.) The wild card feature or "contains" would give the user an option to search within the email address to filter users by email domain.

3. Additional Sorting Options for Managed Users in Users & Groups

   I would like to request the addition of more sorting options for Managed Users in the Users & Groups console.

   Currently, sorting is limited to Name, Email, and Storage Used.

   It would be extremely helpful to include the following:

   1. Sort by Last Activity
      Enables identification of users who have never accessed Box or who are inactive.
      Helps admins determine which accounts can potentially be cleaned up or require follow‑up.

   2. Sort by Status
      Allows quick visibility into which users are disabled in Box.
      Supports faster lifecycle management and removal of stale or unused accounts.

   While this information is available through reports, having it directly accessible in the admin console would streamline user management workflows and reduce reliance on report exports.

4. Request for improvement of behavior when posting a shared link of a Box folder in a Teams channel or chat

   When you post a Box shared link in a Teams channel or chat, you'll see a Grant Access card with the option to grant users additional permissions if the following conditions are true:

   　condition：If there are channel members or chat members who do not have access permissions to the shared folder or file.
   　　　　　　＊This includes channel members and chat members who are invited as a group but not directly invited as users.

   The support article states that when you grant access, the card will update and a content card with file details will be displayed.
   However, when you post a shared link for a folder and grant access, although it says "A response has been sent to the app,"
   the card does not update and the card for granting permissions continues to be displayed.

   After investigating, we received a response from your company (Box) stating that the content of the support article only applies to files and that this is currently the expected behavior.
   However, in addition to files, shared links to folders are sometimes posted, and the current behavior is confusing to users.
   For this reason, we would like to see this improved so that the behavior for folders is the same as for files.

5. Update removed the ability to view notifications on a single page. You have to scroll through them from the top tool bar. Please add back!

9. Filter unmanaged users who have not been collaborated in the user detail report.

   Currently, the user detail report cannot filter unmanaged users who have not been collaborated,
   and it is necessary to check while cross-referencing with the user list on the Users and Groups screen.

10. Admin view - Users and Groups

    the current filters don't let me choose just managed users, it includes appusers which I do not want to see. I also need to filter by the date added. The old UI design had this and it was very helpful, the new design is missing it.

12. Large Folder Operations dashboard with status, ETA, rollback, and reporting

    Requesting a centralized Large Folder Operations Dashboard in the Box Admin Console or via API to improve visibility and control over major content transfers.

    During a large folder ownership change, an unexpected behavior occurred where ownership polling and job sequencing did not reflect the actual state of completion. This led to a move propagating recursively from an empty child folder to an inherited, multi-million-object parent folder.

    A built-in dashboard would provide transparency into large operations and prevent this class of issue from occurring silently.

    Proposed Capabilities

    -Status Tracking — show all active or queued large folder transfers (ownership, move, or copy) across the enterprise.

    -Estimated Time Remaining (ETA) — progress percentage and item counts to completion.

    -Rollback / Reverse Option — controlled, reversible transfer to restore ownership or hierarchy state if initiated in error.

    -Reporting & Audit — exportable logs of who initiated the transfer, when, and what content was affected (including item counts and folder IDs).

    -Workaround report - For parent folders with lots of subfolders and objects at the transferred level, a Google Sheet or CSV export with the Box file name, Box path (and recursive level), as well as the Box URL would be helpful to send to stakeholders to utilize to maintain business as usual by navigating to the Box link directly.

    -Workaround permissions - A temporary Box Group can add the users at the parent level and be added to the destination owner's folder during the transfer to maintain permissions as an option before the transfer.

    -Prevents cascading, unintended ownership changes on large hierarchies.

    -Gives admins real-time insight into progress and impact of long-running operations.

    -Enables proactive response in case of accidental or malicious large-scale content moves.

    -Reduces reliance on Support escalation for backend job status checks.

    Example Use Case

    A content move initiated on a single folder propagated recursively to millions of objects due to inherited permissions and ownership promotion. A dashboard with visibility and rollback would have allowed early detection and controlled recovery without requiring Support intervention.

14. Collapsible folder tree/structure for Box Notes for Desktop

    As mentioned in other feedback, right now only having "Recent", "Favorites", and "Inbox" as filters makes organizing and looking through notes difficult.

    It would be interesting to either 1) integrate the user's folder tree in the Box Notes view or 2) have subfolders within "My Box Notes" show up as the structure.

15. Ability to view Box folders and files more clearly

    Currently, when we look at a list of folders or files, we feel that they are displayed in a cluttered way.
    This makes it difficult to find a particular item.
    We manage and respond to items by grouping them by tags.

    We believe that the following features will make Box even more convenient for us to use in the future

    ・Assign any colour to the folders in the box
    ・Assign any colour to the tags in the Box
    ・The order of the tags in the Box can be rearranged by dragging.

16. Improve the UX when editing filters for a saved report

    When editing the filters on a saved report, it is difficult to review the data in the "Users and Groups" field as it is very squashed.

    Can you consider making this section larger so it is easier to view any users or groups included in the report. Or maybe have a button to export the list to a text file for easier viewing and modification.

18. A list of users who have sent "email to all" in a report.

    The "Email All" function on the collaborator list screen on the folder screen allows you to check which user sent what message and when in the "User Activity Report", but it does not allow you to check which user the "Email All" was sent to.
    I understand that "Email to all" cannot be sent to users with pending invitations or when there are more than 500 collaborators,
    but when there are a large number of collaborators, it is difficult to know how many users are pending, and checking the "Collaboration Report" takes time.
    In addition, there may be cases where emails cannot be sent due to reasons other than those mentioned above, so I would like a function to be implemented that would make it easier to identify users who have not been able to send emails by clearly indicating in the "User Activity Report" whether emails have been sent to that user.

19. Auto-redirect to Box account after logging in once and typing in Box.com in the address bar

    One of our users does not like the fact that Box auto re-directs to his Box account after logging in to his browser once, then opening up a new tab and typing in Box.com.

    Example:

    1. Login to Corporate account
    2. Open new tab/window and type http://www.box.com and hit enter
    3. Page loads to corporate Box account and does not allow me to go to box.com public website

    It could be addressed by an intermediary page that offers both options, or it could be addressed by identifying that the user is logged in, still navigating to the path requested (e.g. Box.com) and then adding a Tab (due to logged in state) of My Box (or some equivalent name) that when selected takes the user to their Box account.

    The point is to provide functionality, not take it away because a specific group has other needs.

    This is a rare use case where a logged in Box user wants to see the public website.

    Given the relatively minor affected population, we will not introduce friction for our product to solve for this use case.

20. Multi-Factor Authentication for SSO required

    We would like to be able to issue Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in addition to SSO required and for specific groups like external collaborators, contractors, and remote employees

    The option to require 2FA for external collaborators has been delivered earlier this year. This feature, while independent from the SSO configuration should answer to the original ask.
