1. Regarding the display correction of "Inbox" in Box Notes

   In Box Notes' "Inbox," the title, timestamp/last editor, and storage folder name are displayed for each item, but once the timestamp/last editor reaches the second line, the storage folder is hidden.
   It is possible to access the destination folder by searching for the file name, but if there are multiple files with the same name, it may be difficult to distinguish them, which could result in lost time.
   If the title is long, it will be displayed as "….." and you can check the full name by hovering the cursor over it, so I would like the timestamp/last editor to be changed to the same specifications.
   By changing the specifications for displaying timestamps/last editors, the names of the storage folders will no longer be hidden, making it easier to access the folders.

2. Add group members to new group by combining existing groups

   I created a new group that will have all the people in 2 existing groups as members. This will be over 70 users in total. Currently I have to enter every single user, but I would like to simply add all members of group A and all members of group B to create the membership of the new group.

3. Direct link creating and reporting for an entire folder. Custom Direct LInks

   Ability to create for an entire folders contents the Direct Links and a report listing those links so they can be uploaded to the app needing the direct links. Currently you have to touch each and every file you want a direct link too. Phase 2 would be allow custom URL for part of the direct links.

4. Folder tree order up side down when move/copy

   In folder view on Web Application, upper folder tree view is shown when working with deep folders.(left corner)
   The display order of this tree view and the tree view displayed when you "move/copy" a file are up side down.
   (where[...]mouse hober over)
   (Folder hierarchy ascending/descending order)
   So, when moving files, there is a possibility of causing a mistake in the destination.

   Normal folder view: 1st>2nd>3rd>4th>5th

   View on Move/Copy: 5th>4th>3rd>2nd>1st

   It's happy to be if it is a same display order.

   Most of users remain on Box Drive/explorer, for a transformation, we would like to recommend Box web application for users.
   But those difference of gimmick of the order will sometimes make confuse a user.
   If this will be fixed, a user easier to recommend Web Application
   （and can graduate Box Drive.)

5. Salesforce integration default permissions

   Currently the Box for Salesforce integration only allows for 2 collaborator levels; Editor & Viewer. Our users require higher collaboration permissions in order to manage the folders. It would be ideal that you could use some sort of admin console on the Salesforce side to manage the integration. Of course, that access wouldn't only be for the user acting for the Box Service account.

6. BOX should give us more options to work with subfolder access

   When you give the Viewer access to a group of people in the root of a structure, you could work with subfolders by 1) removing some people from access specific subfolders or 2) changing the type of access specific person would have. For example,
   1) I have specific content that should be restricted but need to manage it in a single place. If I try to remove a person from a subfolder, it will remove this person from the whole structure.
   2) I can create a root folder called "Teams" and give everyone the viewer access to it (since the content has to be shared) but then, I would like the leader of Marketing team having editor access to his/her folder since this person will be in charge to feed the content. I'm not able just to change his/her access from Viewer to Editor in that specific folder rather than I send him/her a new invitation. It would be simpler if I just change the type of access in that folder.

7. Add ability to batch rename multiple files

   I'd like to be able to select all contents of a folder (ex. images taken by a particular photographer at an event) and standardize all file names (ex. EventPhotographer Name (1), EventPhotographer Name (2),...)
   This is simple to do in Windows Explorer, but I really do not want to download and then re-upload for something so minor!

8. Jira Integration - 'Attach from Box'

   Work with Jira to provide a Box integration allowing Box files to be easily 'attached' to Jira issues. Currently, users can choose from content locally stored on their computer when attaching files to issues, but this request is for:

   1. An integration that would allow the user to 'attach from Box'
   2. Once a Box file is 'attached' to an issue, Jira would then keep that content in sync between Box and Jira (just like Slack does)

9. Change prompt message for shared-folder deletion

   Currently the message is "Are you sure you want to delete this item",
   but when it is shared by other people, in most cases users are not aware that other collaborators will not be able to access that folder and all included files.

   Suggest the message to be specific and please also add additional prompt like "Are you sure? This folder has XX items in it." since we have experienced few times that root folders are deleted and 1-2 days are needed to restore.

10. permanently purge file version history

    Hello,

    We have a use case that we use box as a temporary storage location in a workflow. But once the workflow is finished, we would like to purge the information but "keep" the same boxfileid. We thought by deleting the version history, we would have achieved this. But it turns out the deleted version history is restorable.

    I am wondering if it is possible to
    (1) optionally make a file "not" able to store version history
    (2) or optionally permanently delete a version

11. Ability to see owned vs. collaborated content

    From content manager, we would like the ability to filter the content by only showing content the user is 1) an owner of and/or 2) is a co-owner of, and/or 3) is collaborated on.

    When a user leaves the organization, we will disable the account for a few months. Before it is deleted, we would like to have the possibility to easily see the impact for other users if/when the content is deleted. If needed, we would then assign new owners for content collaborated on before that content is deleted.

    In Teams V2 integration, when you add a Box app to a team from the left menu, Apps >Box> Add to Team > Select the team you created > Set Tab, you may see "Boxファイル" and "Box Files" tabs created.
    Please improve the functionality so that only one of the tabs is created, as users may be confused as to which tab to use.

13. Reports to track Box Relay creation

    We need a reporting feature that tracks the status of Box Relay creation.

    Reasons：

    1.When a workflow template is duplicated, it is possible to use it without changing its name, which leads to the existence of multiple workflows with the same name.

    2.The only way to monitor usage is through user activity logs, which do not provide information on frequency of use or usage status.

    3.If workflows created by employees on leave remain unused or incorrectly configured, the transfer process could be omitted.

15. Increase maximum image size for branding a Box Sign to above 1 MB

    Upload limit for Box Sign Company Logo Branding is only 1 MB. This is too small when the average file size of a smartphone mobile phone camera picture is about 3MB, LinkedIn allows 8 MB and Google allows 5 MB.

    Today, if I want to invite 3 people to approve a task, but I only need 2/3 to approve it, then this is not an option. Similarly, if I want to invite 10 people to approve a task, but I only need 6/10 to approve it, then this is not an option.

    I only have the option for one person to approve it or for everybody to approve it.

18. Ready-Sign Links: Ability to make signers optional

    Currently, ready-sign links require all signers to be assigned (i.e. I must enter an email address for signer 1 and signer 2). This means that one can't create a ready-sign link when multiple signers might be (but aren't always) needed.

    Examples:

    • A registration form for an event where all attendees in the party need to sign. If there is only one attendee, there are no additional signers (and those fields would be left blank)

    • A form that must also be signed by a parent if the primary signer is a minor. If the primary signer is NOT a minor, no additional signature is needed.

    Currently, ready-sign links require all signers to be assigned (i.e. I must enter an email address for signer 1 and signer 2). This means that one can't create a ready-sign link when multiple signers might be (but aren't always) needed.

19. Move "Log in" green banner when viewing shared link while not signed into Box

    If you view a shared link while you're not signed into Box, you'll see a green banner at the top: "Log in to Box to securely share, edit, and collaborate on files in real-time with other people." The banner blocks the "Download" button on the right. While there is an X to close the banner, there are two issues:

    1) Less tech-savvy people don't know to close the banner and can't figure out how to download
    2) Others may think you need a Box account in order to access the content

    It would be helpful to either move the banner or maybe add some clearer messaging around the fact that you can still access the content without signing in.

    If you view a shared link while you're not signed into Box, you'll see a green banner at the top: "Log in to Box to securely share, edit, and collaborate on files in real-time with other people." 20. Shared Link vs Shared Folder Collaborator Options

    I would like to grant Previewer collaborator option when creating a shared link on a file.

    1. When using the Shared Link for a file, only available collaborator options are Editor and Viewer.
    2. When using the Shared Link for a folder, available collaborator options: Uploader, Previewer, Viewer, Previewer Uploader, Viewer Uploader, Editor, Co-Owner.

    When granting access at the folder level opens a security hole where later files can be viewed as well, when only one file needs to be shared.
