1. Retrieve logs of users who uploaded files via the file request link

   The file request link is extremely useful in our daily operations. It is a great feature that allows users without a Box account to upload files to Box. However, under the current specifications, if logging in to Box is not required in the settings, no information about the person who uploaded the file via the file request link is recorded in the logs. This poses a significant problem from an audit and compliance perspective.

   For example, if a user enters their email address in the email field at the time of upload, it would be very helpful if that email address could also be displayed in the “details” field of the User Activity Report. This would allow administrators to keep logs of who uploaded files and make the feature much more useful.

2. Displaying Tag Suggestions to Collaborators

   When performing a tag-based search, content owners see tag suggestions automatically populated in the search view as they type the first few characters.

   However, users who are not the content owner do not see any suggested terms, so they must already know the exact tags that have been registered.

   Because there are many types of tags applied to content across the organization, it is difficult for users to always know all tags accurately.

   Even for content they do not own, we would like users to see suggested tag terms during tag search for any tags that are used on content they are collaborating on.

3. Need for User Self-Removal from the Suppression List

   Currently, only Box administrators or co-admins can remove email addresses that have been added to the Suppression List.

   Furthermore, users cannot tell whether they are on the Suppression List and have no choice but to contact an administrator.

   To reduce the burden on administrators, it is desirable that users be able to remove themselves from the Suppression List.

4. Global filter

   Box APPs would benefit from a global filter (a filter on the APP's main page). This filter would allow to see the dashboard in context:

   • Projects. The app displays all projects, but allows you to drill into individual projects.

   • Manufacturing: see an overview of all machines and a global status, but allowing to dive into any machine.

   • HR: getting an overview of how your hiring is doing globally, while also being able to look at individual countries / cities (multiple fields).

   The way APPs is organised right now we have to create an APP for each of these views, making it hard to actually keep an overview and introducing a lot of issues when we need to update the dashboards.

6. Audit log for changes to Hub settings.

   I would like changes to the “Hubs Global Presets” or “Hub Settings” to be recorded in the security log.
   Even if we apply restrictions on collaboration and shared links, there is currently no way to trace what happened when those restrictions are somehow removed. From a security and compliance standpoint, not being able to review an audit trail of these operations poses a significant risk.

   Description:
   Today in Box Forms, checkbox and radio button inputs are not natively mapped to Boolean metadata fields (true/false or yes/no), which limits the ability to trigger workflows or create metadata-driven views based on user responses.

   Feature Request:
   Allow checkboxes and radio buttons in Box Forms to map directly to Boolean metadata fields:

   If a checkbox is checked, metadata should reflect “true”; if unchecked, “false.”

   For yes/no radio button questions, allow mapping directly to true/false metadata fields.

   Impact & Value:

   Streamlines workflow automation with Box Relay (e.g., trigger based on form input).

   Enables metadata-driven views (e.g., show only records where “Sensitive Data” = true).

8. Automate: Request for Copy Feature for Approval Tasks

   When defining Outcomes in Box Automate, the copy function is useful for cases where similar outcomes need to be set up repeatedly within the same flow, for example when creating a flow that requires multiple rounds of approval, where there is likely to be considerable demand for this capability.
   Currently, however, this option is not available for Approval Tasks, as the copy icon does not appear when the outcome type is an Approval Task.
   It would be helpful if Approval Tasks could also support the same copy functionality as other outcome types.

9. We want to apply classification labels using Automate without granting Editors permission to change labels

   In Relay, we had a workflow where users would manually trigger a workflow, assign an approval task, and upon approval, automatically change or assign a classification label. This was done to assign a label indicating that the content is ready for public release, enabling external sharing.

   However, this cannot be achieved with Automate workflows. Upon checking the specifications, we found that unless the Admin Console allows Editors to modify classification labels, Automate workflows cannot assign labels. In our organization, we have only permitted Co-owners and Owners to change labels. If we allow Editors to change labels, general employees would be able to change labels freely, which we want to avoid.
   Since this was achievable in Relay, please make Automate have the same specifications as Relay.

10. Dynamic approving

    Customer has a workflow which requires 2 out of 3 stakeholders to approve a document before it progresses. Asking the product team to provide dynamic approval so, for example, when one stakeholder approves a document, the the workflow progresses to require one of the remaining assignees to approve the document.

    We have this feature in Beta and plan to GA it by the end of this month.

12. Want to allow users with 0byte allocated storage to save Box AI Home responses.

    We understand that Box AI Home answers cannot be saved when "Allocated Storage" is set to 0 bytes or insufficient — by design.
    However, our company requires end users to have 0 bytes of allocated storage, which prevents them from saving AI Home answers. We request that this limitation be removed to improve usability.

    We would like to request enhanced flexibility in report output management.
    Specifically:

    1.The ability to assign arbitrary names to report output files
    2.Support for adding dynamic variables (e.g., date) to file names

15. Request for Customizable Example Prompts in Box AI Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot

    In Box AI Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot, example prompts are displayed below the chat input field.

    This feature is useful, but we would like the ability to customize these examples.

    When rolling out the feature to users, it would be even more convenient if we could display prompts configured by our own company so that users can make better use of the tool.

16. Movable preview screen toolbar

    When the preview screen is opened, a toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen showing the zoom factor and page number, but since it is fixed at the bottom of the page, the preview screen is partially hidden in some documents, making it difficult to see.
    If this toolbar could be temporarily hidden or moved, it would make the preview screen easier to see.

17. Ability to log and review user-entered prompts in Box AI

    After deploying Box AI to users, it would be very helpful to have the ability to log and review the prompts that users enter.
    This would support security and compliance needs, such as detecting potential malicious usage and enabling proper auditing when required.

    Since Box is a platform where sensitive and confidential information is often stored, having this capability is important for safely leveraging AI features.

19. The ability to search by creator when searching workflows in the “Relay” section of the management console

    The administrator will check whether there are any problems with the workflow settings owned by each user, and if there are any problems, they may discuss with the user what needs to be corrected.
    Currently, workflows can be searched by name, but users cannot view a list of workflows they individually maintain, which lacks convenience.
    Searching by workflow creator improves work efficiency.

20. Past password changes included in the report.

    Currently, it is possible to check the date and time of the last password change, but we have confirmed that past password change history is not included in the report.
    Being able to check how frequently passwords are changed will also help improve security.
