Version history - ability to see what has changed since the last version
Ability to see what has changed since the previous version on Box web - highlighting key differences or changes to the document. Also the ability to compare 2 specific versions side by side as you can in SharePoint to see what has changed.

Consolidate and replace
Edge case failure! :
1) Upload testXMovie.mp4
2) Upload testYMovie.mp4
3) UPDATE testYMovie.mp4 by uploading testXMovie.mp4 againUpload fails without solution or description.
Better: "The file you are uploading TestXmovie.mp4 already exists in this folder. Would you like to replace both files with this one? (or cancel)"

Tags
I am tagging all my documents for easy filing and searching. It would be great if
1) i could save tag searches for future use
2) be able to see a list of the tags i have created so I can edit, add, delete whatever tag(s) i want.1 vote -
Request for enlargement ratio when browsing files
- Thin line in a file disappear, when we reduce file's rate of magnification and display whole file on screen. So, we would like you to consider measures.
- When the rate of magnification bar and title bar overlie on the file,we can’t see the characters and figures in the file. So, we need a function to erase these bars temporarily.
- The default file's rate of magnification is 200%, when we browse a file. The file's rate of magnification can change in 25% increments now. But our customer would like to change more finely.(in 1% increments,if it’s possible.)

Ability to moderate/pre-validate comments
Some files in Box have a very wide diffusion (All the company so about 1,5/2K people).
We would like to moderate the comments.
The function we want is a folder parameter stating that all comments on any file in this folder would be validated by the owner ou co-owner of the folder.1 vote -
Improve UI for folder structure drop-downs
I find it visually confusing that the drop-down carat for my Folders is the same size, color, and thin-stroked icon as the "X" which deletes my folders. I can't tell you how many times I've inadvertently deleted a Favorite because my brain is expecting a 2nd drop-down menu. Some differentiation in color, size, position, treatment, etc. might help.

Allow Device Trust full disk encryption to specify software encryption (ie. FileVault)
Presently, when creating a Device Trust Policy that requires full disk encryption for Mac, there is no option to require FileVault as an additional requirement for full disk encryption. As a result, existing hardware encryption using Apple Silicon or a T2 chip satisfies the encryption requirement. It would be helpful to add this functionality so we can enforce FileVault as part of our device trust requirements.

the search option is so messed up now. I am spending so much time looking for the exact folder and files I need to locate
The search option prior to 2 weeks ago was perfect. I am not sure what changed but My whole team is pending countless time on each search. please reset it to that prior setting. Or tell us how to do that. Why does all that other stuff show up before the folder with just what I am looking for?

Specific Access to subfolders in the same Folder
Is it possible to give to users view permission only to specific subfolders within a folder? Example: I want to upload to a master folder 5 subfolders to our daughter company partners and I want to make sure that the 3 subfolders out of the 5 of them will be viewed only from their bosses. This flexibility helps you to avoid creating 2 different folders for the same Task-Subject.

Box drive's system extension update
I am running BoxDrive version 2.23.422
After I upgrade my Mac (for example, from BigSur 11.5 -> 11.6), I get an error dialog the first time I try to open Box Drive. It says "Box Drive's system extension failed to load. Please make sure it has been enabled in System Preferences > Security & Privacy and then restart your computer. ....".
Reinstalling Box Drive and restarting the computer doesn't fix it. I found a workaround at https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360051323454-Box-Drive-s-system-extension-failed-to-load which fixes it, but I have to apply that workaround each time I upgrade my computer. Context : Allow box subscription tenants to leverage the External Identity providers like OKTA to securely access the Box API’s.
Use case: Tenants like us want to centralize the access to the APIs to our external vendors partners and internal teams. It is always beneficial to centralize the access using OKTA like OAUTH 2.0 providers and move to zero trust.

Interval in metadata trigger
Hi! Would it be possible to add the ability in Box Relay for the flow to be dependent on the interval between 2 values of numeric metadata?
Now we only have options like "less than", "greater than", but it would be great if we could set the trigger dependance "from...to" like in the search filter1 vote -
Mirror files in one location to another
Add the ability to mirror files from one location to another. If we have /Investment/Deals/financialReport.xlsx we want to have the option to mirror it to another location such as /Investment/Investor Profiles/Axel Pina/financialreport.xlsx.
The feature should include the file's versions. If the file is edited in location one, it should be reflected on location 2.

Allow option to restrict offline data by file type
Allow us the option to prevent some files from downloading when a folder is made available offline based on file type.
For instance, when traveling I may need access to PDFs for a job, but not need access or have space to sync a 2.5GB video file.
Please allow us to restrict what files are synced by file type.

Scenario for Request Link via API: 1) Ticketing system support case requires the openee to upload files to the ticket 2) Use app to collect case number, authenticate user, create folder with case number 3) Set File upload link "Title", "Add Instructions" and "require users to provide email" 4) Get file upload link from API for pasting into the support ticket

Using Box with FTPS and MFA
We would like to use automated scripts to upload files to Box using FTPS. We would also like MFA enabled for our internal users. Box has advised that:
1. They do not provide service accounts to facilitate this
2. They do not allow per-user control over MFA settings
3. The process to login when MFA is enabled is manual and cannot be automated.
4. FTPS only works with SMS MFAWe would like the following product enhancements:

Make it easier to share with Box App Service Accounts or App Users
It'd be nice to allow users to be able to share with Service Accounts and App Users via the Service Account's application name and the App User's user name like how it works with other users rather than having to directly input the email addresses like "AutomationUser1234567aBC12DeF3g@boxdevedition.com" or "AppUser12345671aB2CDEfgh@boxdevedition.com"

Make source.parent.name to include all of path
source.parent.name show just folder name.
For example, if the collaborator folder is A and it lcates “All files/A”. the customer get api.box.com/2.0/events?streamtype=adminlo..,
source/parent/name just show A. This behavior make the user not to find the folder easily.

Product Support - I need phone support and remote desktop control.
I have a small business with 6 employees and we all share using box drive. I have spent about 3-5 hours over the past 2 weeks in the "chat" and email support world trying to solve a problem. I need phone support. and I need box to remotely control my desktop to solve problems. I do not have an IT department.
