Please add Linux to the support for Box.
【Background】
As we use many Linux servers, the total size of the log files is also large.
Please add Linux as supported, as we want to save the log files stored on the Linux server to the Box.【Request】
Box does not support Linux.
In the past it was possible to access the Box via WebDAV, but this is no longer supported.
Please add Linux to the support for Box.
It would be preferable if it could be mounted like WebDav.
If the folder on the Box can be mounted on Linux, the application can simply change the…21 votes -
Edit a Box note without a box account
There should be a way to edit a Box note for people that do not have a box account. When I work with folks from older generations, they are often overwhelmed with creating new accounts. I don't want them to need to create a box account to be able to edit Box notes. If the note has a shared link, anyone with the link should be able to edit the note - without needing to be signed in to their box account.

Allow System Administrators to download pkgs/msi's for all OS without being redirected on your site.
Hello!
I am unable to download the regular box drive pkg on my m1 mac. I am a system administrator who needs to download all pkgs/msi in order to support the business. I shouldn't have to use an intel based m1 mac just to download a pkg to upload to jamf.https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696254-Large-Scale-Deployments-Box-Drive
My suggestion would be to put direct links to the intel mac pkg on this page and the m1 pkg as well.

Box for Office integration with Mac OSX
We would like Box for Office desktop integration w/Mac OSX. Some use the web apps for o365. Some use Office 2016 for mac that connects into o365.
38 votesThe Box for Office integration is not available on Mac due to technical limitations, but we do already support a native Mac Outlook integration with Box: https://community.box.com/t5/Box-for-Outlook/Installing-Enabling-and-Disabling-Box-for-Outlook/ta-p/66374

Invited folders cannot be consolidated by collaborator
I am invited to view individual accounts by an outside company. I would like to be able to move these folders into a “company A” folder so that they are not at the top level of my box drive.

the folder tree display/tree operations
I would like the folder tree display/tree operations implemented in Content Manager to be implemented on the normal screen as well.
This will improve usability for people who are accustomed to Windows Explorer.
It will make it easier to transition from Box Drive to Box Web.1 vote -
Multi-tenant support for Box Graph Connector
It is a very common configuration to have a single Microsoft 365 tenant and a multi-tenant Box, but the Box Graph Connector is only available for one Box tenant.
Box Graph Connector should be supported even if Microsoft 365 is single-tenant and Box is multi-tenant.8 votes -

BUG in the move operation: it takes 1000x longer on desktop than on website
on any desktop moving a file is instant
on an iphone moving a photo to an album is instant
therefore we expect instant effect of moving operation
in box that is not the case : move takes considerable time
for example I tried to move 200GB on a box drive where all items were online only, first the window appeared trying to enumerate the files, which kept climbing, as if it was doing the move one file at a time
then, as nothing was happening i stopped the operation
to test if move was a copy+delete like on dropbox…1 vote -
Insert a photo in Box Note within Box Mobile
I would like to be able to (easily) insert a PHOTO into Box Notes from the MOBILE platform.
I know we can do this in the browser (https://community.box.com/t5/Creating-and-Editing-Box-Notes/Inserting-Images-in-Box-Notes/ta-p/46192) but it is more likely that I would take a photo of an object and have a discussion with my team about it within Box. If I am exclusively using Box mobile while at remote sites, it keeps me from easaily communicating with the team real time if I can't uplaod photos. (We currently use texting to resolve this, but then the conversation…4 votes -
Enable Box AI API for Specific Users or Groups
Currently, the Box AI API can only be enabled or disabled for "all users" at once. To allow custom applications to use Box AI, we have to enable the API for every user in our tenant.
However, it is difficult to estimate how many additional API Units we need to purchase, since we cannot predict how much each user will use the Box AI API. We are also concerned about users utilizing the AI API without proper authorization or oversight.
Just like Box AI for Notes and Box AI for Hubs, we would like to be able to enable or…

Box AI for Hubs - Address # of files in Hub
The Hub functionality works regardless of the number of files available to be viewed from the link(s) listed on the hub page. However, Box AI for Hubs has a restriction of 10,000 files that can be indexed, which includes files that may be nested under the link shown in the hub. Given this, it would be helpful if we could manually disable Box AI for Hubs on specific hubs that we know are indexed for over 10K files so that users do not get an error message on those hubs when they try to use Box AI. (Possibly hiding the …

Box AI does not recognize text in image-based PDFs
Thank you for releasing Box AI for free.
I am currently using Box AI with the feature enabled. It successfully recognizes text in document PDFs and image files (PNG, JPG, etc.), but it does not recognize text in image-based PDFs.
When I take a screenshot of the content in an image PDF and save it as an image file (PNG, JPG, etc.), Box AI is able to recognize the text. This suggests that the issue may be related to the file format.
If Box AI could also recognize text within image-based PDFs, it would greatly improve usability. I would appreciate…

Box sign automation with relay
After a Box Signer completes a document(i.e NDA), using relay having automation to add that signer as a collaborator to a folder. This would be a tremendous enhancement for anyone who uses Box as a data room or would like automation with Box Sign and Relay.

Make Workflows Shareable Among Users (Box Relay and Box Relay Lite)
In Box Relay, we can check the progress of workflows in the [Tracking] function.
Currently, only the owner of the workflow, and Admins who are granted to access to workflows can see this [Tracking].However, the progress of workflows within the enterprise should be visible to other users as well.
(e.g. Users who have tasks assigned in the workflow, or Co-Owners of the folder where the workflow is triggered.)It would be useful if the owners could share their workflows to other users.

When dragging files to your desktop from BOX it should be a default of COPY, instead the default is MOVE. Unfortunately when user MOVES the
After upgrading to Monterey, Box Drive has made a significant change in behavior where dragging a file from Box Drive to the local filesystem moves the file, rather than the previous behavior of copying the file. It will still copy if you're dragging the file to removable media, but not the local Mac drive.
Anyone know of a way to alter this behavior back to the previous?
It causes three fairly significant issues.
One, if someone needs a local copy of a file for travel, offline, whatever, now it's removed from Box and no one else can access it…
