Couldn't see full group name
When collaborating, if the group name is long,
the part that doesn't fit in the UI gets truncated.
Is it possible to improve the UI so that the entire group name is displayed?
This happens both when collaborating and when viewing the collaboration list.ーーーーーーーーーーー

Ability to scope Malicious Content Rules by User/Group/Shield Lists
Currently malicious content rules apply to all users. To test moving from an audit/detection-only stance to enforcement, it would be useful to be able to create multiple rules that are scoped to specific users/groups/Shield Lists.
This will allow us to keep most users in an audit/detection-only rule, while we test enforcement with a pilot group in another rule.3 votes -
Group Creation Based on IdP Attributes
Please allow the automatic creation of groups in Box based on attributes being passed from the IpD. In my specific case I want to limit certain content to students and other content to faculty and staff. Having users automatically added to the group would help manage access to the correct resources.

Ability to manage access via a box group
We have several Enterprise Box folders that we want all Box users to have access to as default. It has been a challenge to manage a group of all Box users manually. Would it be possible to have a Box group that automatically updates and includes all Box users so that it can be used to grant access to enterprise wide data that needs to be available to all users.

Group permissions allowed using auto-start template with Box Relay
Our use case requires that group permissions be allowed when using auto-start template with Box Relay. As of right now it only allows for a direct permissions to a folder before publishing the workflow.
4 votesAll enhancements and new features will be considered as part of the all new Relay planned for GA on June 26, 2019.
New feature including group permissions will be evaluated post-GA.

Allow for one-off permissions changes to individuals in a group.
When inviting a group to a folder, we would like to have the ability to give a different permission to just a specific member within the group. Currently if a group is invited to a folder, all members will get the same permissions. Te only workaround is invite the indiv user separately. However, this is not an officially supported functionality of Box.

Create and add Team Collections via Box Security Group
We need the ability to create "Team Collections", essentially replicating the function of a Team Drive and provide this shortcut to Users on specific Teams. Given the nature of how Box files/folders are owned by a single User, it makes the function of a Team Drive almost impossible. I think of this as a Mapped Shared Drive in a File server.
If it were possible to assign Team Collections via Box Security Group, I would be able to provision these Team Collections by an AD Attribute or AD SecGroup, via IdP Rule which maps to a Box…

Allow users to have over 100 group associations.
Many of our users are a part of over 100 groups in their AD, but Box won't add these users to these groups because Box has a group membership limit of 100 groups per user.
2 votesWe would recommend you consider using an API-based integration to import Groups into Box rather than the SAML approach for a better user experience.

Allow choosing default Group permission setting for push groups
Currently all Box groups pushed from Okta are by default visible to anyone within the Company. We are starting to make extensive use of Box Group pushed from Okta and need those groups to be visible to Admins only to avoid Groups being invited by users to potentially large number of folders.

Allow/Disallow apps on a per role or user group basis.
Allow/Disallow apps on a per role or user/group basis. This could be for mobile apps, Box Drive, etc. Really make the control more granular than just all on/off for the Enterprise.

I want to change the icon of the Box group.
I want to change the icon of the Box group.
Currently, it is not possible to change the icon of a group.
However, for the following reasons, we would like to be able to change the icon so that we can identify the group in the collaboration list.・To identify special groups used by system administrators.
・In order to avoid confusion among users, it is necessary to be able to identify the system administrator at a glance.【
3 votes -
Ability to view reports as a group administrator
I would like to see a fix for the error that occurs when a group administrator displays a report.
If you try to view the report as a group administrator, you may get the error message [Unexpected error.] error may occur.
The current workaround is to run a report.
We use the report function when we need to take immediate action for recovery, but if we use [Run], which takes a long time to output, the action will be delayed, which is a problem for our business.
Therefore, we request that the function of displaying reports be migrated to the…3 votes -
Box Group Automation, Dynamic, Identity Manager Tie, or other Methods
Searching through Box pulse ideas, there are several different flavors of requests for Box Group automation (allowing for users to be auto assigned to a group based on some type of input, either being account information, data fed from an identity platform, etc).
This will be important for enterprise customers, as they transition from Microsoft file shares/products that have this functionality available.

To be able to run a report on folders that a group has access to
Collaboration Report on Groups to list all access to users added/removed and folders. This will likely help Box admins to track user groups, users and associated folders all in one. Currently, you need to go to the group in order to view the members of the group and what folders are currently given to the group.

Restrict Apps (such as Box Sync) to a Group
With the impending deprecation of Box Sync I was looking to see about removing the Box Sync app from the Box App Store. I only see an option to disable Sync which would remove the apps, but also cause any installed Box Sync clients to start throwing errors since the service had been disabled.
I was told by support that I could turn Sync off for specific users, but we have way too many to make the adjustments on. While we don't use groups now, if there was a way to make apps available or unavailable at the group…

Box for Teams Content Card Support for Group Invites
We have confirmed that when collaborating as a group rather than as a direct collaborator, the content card behaves differently than described in the article.
After investigating with your company (Box), we were told that content card behavior for group invitations is not currently supported.
Therefore, to avoid confusion for users, we would like you to take the following action.【Requests】:
1.The article should clearly state that the operation of content cards for group invitations is not currently supported.
2.In the future, we would like to see content cards for group invitations also be supported.【Target article】:

Ability to run relay workflows as a group
Relay workflows and approval tasks are started and sent as the user that created the relay. Ideally you want to get the box approval task that is sent to the users to approve to look like it is coming from the team that is requesting the approval.
Example: Invoice approval
When an invoice approval relay starts, pick dept. from metadata and start an approval process to the appropriate user as defined in the workflow. The user gets an email that says 'boxadmin' (in out case the user that created the relay) has sent you an approval task.It would be…

Notification of task / mention on content from folder-view.
Add an icon to a file (similar to the lock icon, or the shared link icon) when the associated user has an active task assigned to them or has been referenced in a comment but has not yet reviewed the document.

Create a Box group/alias or ability to select a different name to replace the workflow owner’s name.
I’ve created several Relay workflows across the business and the issue I found is that people are reaching out to me because my name is tied to a task that is assigned to them. Often times, I do not have any context to the workflow so it results in me having to reach out to the person who started/uploaded the document. We want to avoid approvers having to reach out to the workflow owner vs. the actual owner of the program. This process would not be sustainable if it were rolled out to a larger company.
Currently Example: Hayley creates…
