Take action on user based on Threat Detection Shield Rule
Extending threat detection ALERTS to take action on a user's access would be very valuable. I've heard lots of customers request having a user's account deactivated if they access Box from a suspicious location. Right now, there is not a way to do this through the core Box application, it has to be done through custom scripting or with another tool.

Report on who has Box Sync enabled from User Permissions
Admins can enable Box Sync per individual user under the Permissions in the Users&Groups tab in the Admin Console. I would like a report that can pull which users has Box Sync enabled.

Box new user interface option that mimics the Admin Console Content Manager user experience
Box new user interface option that mimics the Admin Console Content Manager user experience… REALLY valuable for people who are forced to use Box Drive, even though they would prefer the web app.

Allow users to share built workflows
Allow workflow builders to share their workflows with each other. Currently workflows need to be rebuilt by each user whereas it would save a lot of time to be able to share these workflows that have already been built.

Include all services that triggered actions in User Activity Reports
For User Activity Reports, include all services that triggered actions, since some actions (Download, Undelete, and Trash) do not always include the service involved in the report.

Download event is not recorded in User Activity Report
When a user downloads a signed PDF from the Sign Inbox page, the "Download" event is not recorded in the User Activity Report. Instead, a "Content Access" event is logged.
However, when downloading a signature log from the same page, the "Download" event is correctly recorded. We would like to ensure that the correct event is logged in all cases to accurately track user activities.

Notify user immediately when a file is updated or uploaded.
We would like the functions or API commands to notify user immediately when a file on the Box is updated or uploaded.
We would like to be able to trigger the next process on file updates, so we would like the ability to be notified each time an update is made, rather than a periodic notification.4 votes -
Print transactions should also be captured as an audit in the user event stream
Print transactions should also be captured as an audit in the user event stream. Preview is a partial audit. We know that the user viewed the content, but not that it was allowed to be printed from the system. This is an inconsistent audit experience as downloads maintain their own audit event.

Box Shield: Suspicious Location Alerts - Add details about content within 'User Activities'
As part of triage for Box Shield Suspicious Location alerts, it would be beneficial to have details added about the content which shows up in 'User Activities'.
For example:
- The User ID/Email of the user who owns the folder/file interacted with
- The File/Folder ID interacted with
- Links to the Files, or their listings within Admin Console Content Manager, when hovering over their names. Also, being able to export this information would be beneficial.

File request custom theme transparent logo suggestion tooltip
When putting themes for file request, using logos with existing color backgrounds does not look as clean. It would be great to add a tooltip suggestion to use a transparent logo for the user designing the theme.

Set values for "external_app_user_id" of Managed Users
We are developing a tool to extract user data from AD, Azure and other IDMs and provision them to Box via API.
We want to use the user IDs on the IDM as a user external key for Box so that we can track the associated Box account when the email address changes on the IDM side.
However, the current attribute "externalappuser_id" of Box users has the following limitationsOnly the App User can be set as the value.
Only some privileged users, such as service accounts for JWT-authenticated applications, can access this item.

File request - Allow only Manage Users from an EID to upload via File Request
In file request, have the ability to state that only a managed user in the EID or an external user that has been invited to the folder can upload, no one else. By doing this, it prevents a file request link from being randomly guessed or found on the internet AND prevents a random user from uploading bad or malware/virus infected content. The current state of requiring the user to login is too generic and doesn't meet the requirement of keeping the file request locked down. Using the collaboration role for upload is not what is needed. The File Request…

Add second Box user name filed
There is First and Last name filed available now when Admin create Box user. When customer integrated with SSO in Japanese, active directory name will be used. However, some Box user will communicate with oversea members, they like to use English name, not Japanese name which synced with Active Directory. So, please add additional filed for user name.

Edit Locked files when Co-Authoring is turned on by the user trying to edit
Our workflow uses both coauthoring and often requires locking files to prevent others from editing while in use. The new coauthoring with Office locks out the user that is trying to edit the file. It would be nice to be able to use both when needed. Now, if a user tries to lock a file to prevent access to it while editing, that same user that locked the file is prevented from editing it. Or maybe add an additional option to edit and lock.

Box passwords user experience
Two issues I'd like to highlight that is significantly making the Box user experience for my users (and me) extremely frustrating.
1) Box Drive sign in experience
When my users try to sign into Box Drive and input incorrect passwords multiple times and keep trying, they get a captcha response requirement to continue trying. It's simply broken. It requires images to be selected but this process always gets stuck in an endless loop. I can confirm this from dealing with this on multiple systems running Box Drive and 100% of the time it got stuck in a loop.…1 vote -
User activity report - for file move/ copy event, display full path to show where the files are originated from
For file move/ copy activity on User Activity report. "Detail" tab would show the name of the parent folder on where the file is from. "Parent Folder" tab would show the full path of destination.
If parent folder could also display in full path, intuitively it is easier for the admin to understand where the files are moved from and to.

Share Box Sign templates
Ability to share Box Sign Templates. This is not an existing feature. If a user has created a Sign Template, and that person (Owner) is unavailable, we need other team members to have the ability to modify the Sign Template.
This is not the same as copying the Sign Template to a folder and then sharing the folder. This simply allows others to "use" the template but they can't modify the template. Thank you.

Provide functionality to extend the 30 day time limit on user acceptance when enabling External User TOS
Currently, the documentation states that when enabling external user TOS, if the user does not accept the TOS within 30 days then they have all access to collaborated content revoked. This is problematic as we have external users that need occasional access but may not heed the warning to accept the TOS. I would like a mechanism to manage this time frame, either extending to 90 days or reset the time for users/groups.
Link to documentation: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044192733-Using-Custom-Terms-Of-Service
If any external collaborators do not accept the ToS within 30 days, they will be removed as a collaborator from the…
