Allow Bluegroups for centrally managing membership across various box folders for teams.
Every team has multiple Box folders that they use for various purposes. It could be great if BOX could connect with Bluegroups. That way the membership can be added or deleted in one Bluegroup rather than across multiple box folders.

Box Sign - Ability to send templates from All Files
The "Sign - Templates" section in Box used to send templates has a lack of folders and filtering which leads to no ability for us to organize or filter our templates. However the "All Files - (Saved templates folder)" already has the ability to create folders, organize templates and see templates (the blue icon). We would love to be able to send templates with the fields in the document (like in the sign - templates section) from the "All files" folder.

"Request for Mandatory Password Protection on Shared Links to Enhance Security in Movie Script Sharing"
Customer would like to be able to force people to set passwords on shared links. The customer said this would be a great feature at the global or folder level. His company often shares movie scripts during the production process via shared links and he considers it a security risk that he can't force password protection

Set default file view and sort options by folder (and all sub folders for that folder)
Ideally, let an owner or editor of a folder set the default view (list or grid) and sort order of the files.
The system default appears to be by date the file was updated which is rarely (if ever) what our users want.
Re: view options: For photos especially, the list view is rarely the preferred view.
Additionally, with the grid view, allow the size of the image also be set as a default.
This may not be an admin console enhancement. I think it needs to be a under More when you’re looking a a folder.

Create a view of files or folders with unsupported names
Currently: If a file has an unsupported name, it will be listed in Box Drive or Box Sync without their path name. Users will have to manually search for the file which is not feasible if they have thousands of files with unsupported names.
Desired: Create a view of files or folders with unsupported search names in the Box web app to make it easy to rename and removes the process of having to manually search for them.
Nice to Have: Have a button, when clicked, expands to reveal the full path of files or folders with unsupported names

Downloading from a Shared Link has a confusing UX message (Modal)
The "Download in Progress" modal window displays only a "Signup" and "Log In" buttons when downloading files from a shared link. Those buttons and the fact that the modal window must be manually closed even after the download is complete is poor UX and confuses users into thinking they must create an account to successfully download images.
Our IT department receives multiple tickets from confused users.

Scope of Access Policy Application
We request Shield Access Policy Settings to be applied in the external tenant.

I want to search for folders by tag prefixes.
Could you provide an API endpoint that allows searching for folders by tag prefixes? This would streamline the process by eliminating the need to manually retrieve all folders and filter them based on tags.

Collaborators Page - Add 'Common Folders' Column Back to Page
In Legacy, the Collaborators page had a column called "Common Folders" that told me (as a user) which folders I was collaborating in with the given user.
In Amsterdam, this column was removed, meaning the page only tells me WHO I'm collaborating with, but not WHERE I'm collaborating with them (aka in which folders)...which makes the page FAR less useful.
REQUEST: Add the 'Common Folders' (or something similar) column back to the Collaborators page so that the page can tell me both
1. Who I'm collaborating with across my entire account

Linked Files and Folders in Box Drive
I'd like to be able to have a folder linked to other folders with the same file so the file can be updated from either location.
For example, there are Client 1 and Client 2 folders each having the same Folder A within them. In Folder A would be File B and if you update File B by going through Client 1 folder, it would be updated the same as if you went through Client 2 folder.

Set a password for the "People in Company" shared link.
"People with the link" shared links can be set a password.
We want to use this for "People in Company" as well.Some companies also require you to set a password when sharing items to company users.
We believe that this feature will allow us to utilize Box even more.「リンクを知っている全員」の共有リンクには、パスワードを設定できます。

Governance, Retention policy for folders with no content
hen a retention policy removes files, it's possible to end up in a situation where there is a very long list of folders without any files. It would be helpful if there was a way to remove these folders quickly.

Overview of Synced Folders
It would be useful to be able to see all the folders you’ve synced to your hard drive.
I often have to make large graphics files available offline so I can work on them. I’m typically working across 40+ projects with other people picking things up at various points, so it’s easy to lose track of what’s still active. As such, hard drive space fills up.
Currently, managing files requires hunting through massive directory trees for anything that has a little green tick. Or the less labour intensive but equally daunting option of ‘going nuclear’ and unsyncing everything and starting…

About the expiration time of shared links
I would like shared links to be processed at tenant set times.

Perform full file and folder inventory for users that includes the folders/files which they can access
Requesting to perform full file and folder inventory for users that includes the folders/files they have access to, not just the ones they own. Include fields like – date modified, created date, and any other file attributes normally included in the file and folder report.
The File and Folder reporting mechanism but it’s lacking features to perform an inventory across hundreds of specific folders (in an environment where a lot of folders have the same name).
The content manager, only reports on files that users own and they don’t own files in our taxonomy. The initial view looks good…

Dragging files or folders out of BOX makes a copy
With the recent update to BOX Drive, when you move something from BOX to your computer it removes it from BOX. It used to make a copy by default. We use BOX as a shared file server and this change allows for accidental deletion.
Can you please add the ability to make this copy rather than move the file, only when moving out of BOX onto the computer or an outside volume?

Select multiple folders as the location filter for Views in Box Apps
I would like the ability to select multiple folders as the location filter for Views in Box Apps. For example, I may have a project folder with a metadata template cascading to all subfolders, but I only want to see content from 2 out of the 3 subfolders in the View.

Google Workspace - Add Collaborators/Check for Collaborators
The Google Workspace add-on only allows you to create a Shared Link to share files/folders, you cannot add/remove collaborators. It would be great to have the ability to add folks as collaborators, rather than just choosing from Shared Link settings. Additionally, it would be great if when sharing the file it could be recognized that recipients on the email and/or calendar invite do not have existing permissions to the file/folder (similar to what Google does.)
