Box for Office - Access to Collections
Now that we can organise our files in Box using Collections, it would be good to be able to access this functionality in the Office Apps. This is 'mainly' relevant to the Outlook Box add-in that comes as part of Box for Office for when you want to save to Box or insert from Box.
Excel/Word/PowerPoint - I would argue that the best experience is opening from Edge/Chrome using Box Edit.26 votes -

[Fix] Poor support for moving drive and recognizing existing content
I had to disconnect a drive and Box sync broke and has been a massive pain to get working again. When the drive was reconnected, Box couldn't reuse the old folder, and once it started a new folder, I didn't appear to have the option to change it.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Box sync so I could point it at the original directory it used with all the files still in place. It did not recognize any of the files. Instead, it renamed all the folders, downloaded duplicates of everything, and then ran out of space on my cloud storage…

reference point within box note
Option to insert anchor/reference point in a Box Note
Box Notes can be lengthy and would be great to be able to insert an anchor within the Box Note so that when directing someone to that spot, they aren't searching the entire Note to find the spot.26 votes -
Incorporate Box Sign in Box Relay
Including the ability to ask for signatures with Box Sign as an action on Relay would be useful, just as being able to assign a task which is available at the moment. This is vital especially in the case of approvals that need to be legally valid.

Box Notes and Collections
The Box Notes interface, at the moment, only works with Favourites. It'll be great if you could choose a collection to put your Box Note into, directly from the Box Notes interface, as opposed to having to navigate to the Box folder where the note is, then select the collection.

LocalSystem sees current user's Proxy settings during automatic Box Tools update
Box Tools Automatic Updates:"Box Edit Upgrade Service", please make sure that LocalSystem refers to the current user's Proxy settings as well as Box Drive automatic update.
If the logon of "Box Edit Upgrade Service" is LocalSystem, the automatic update of Box Tools will fail. By changing the logon of "Box Edit Upgrade Service" from LocalSystem to the current user, communication via Proxy will be possible and the update will be successful. Also, by setting the Proxy setting equivalent to the current user for LocalSystem with the following command, Box Tools will be updated automatically.

Unique domain name for Box Sign
To minimize Box Sign being blocked by customers who block app.box.com, Box Sign should have its own unique domain name. Example, sign.box.com.

Allow Box Relay functionality when access policies are applied in Box shield
There is an issue where Box Relay functionality is restricted when applying access policies in Box shield.
This is not the behavior that Box users expect and is very inconvenient, so please improve it.[Cases in which restrictions occur]

I would like the quickest and most efficient way to download all the box notes from all folders in our account onto PDF

Box Sign Watermarking
We need to be able to have documents sent out for signature using Box Sign be watermarked with the name of the recipient/signer. This currently prevents me from using Box Sign for approximately 80% of the documents for which I'd otherwise use Box Sign.

box for outlook
Box for Outlook needs to support moving multiple emails to a box folder. Right now, I can only file an email to box one at a time, and the button is greyed out when I have more than one selected. Also ability to show some box folders in Outlook and drag and drop to those folders.

box AI for meeting transcripts
Will Box AI have capability to capture speech and write into Box Notes? We use Box Notes for all our internal meetings so having Box AI in Box Notes is great but could it also capture the meeting discussion and create a full transcript of the meeting? Maybe via Box Mobile or using Zoom integration with Box? Thinking similar to GONG call recordings.

Native Finder-search (MacOS) is mandatory

Box Drive is not fit for purpose, since it forces every single file-search in the user's home directory to be executed twice:
- once in the home directory
- then again using Box spotlight search
- then put the 2 Finder windows side by side and do a manual inventory - unbelievable

Box Integartion with Power bi

We have a use case in which we are storing all our data in side the Box. For visualization purpose we are using PowerBi.Issue faced- Unable to perfrom PowerBI Integration with BOX Through web connector. Could you please provide connector or Any other alternative approach to accomplish this use case.

Install Box Sync on PC using existing Box Sync folder
You have a published workaround here:
This only describes how to download the Box Sync data all over again. I do not have high-speed internet, so this would take weeks to do.
All I did was change out my storage drive. All of the Box Sync data was copied exactly, so all 50GB of data is still there. Edit Box files directly in Teams
When files are stored directly inside of Teams, you can click on these files and “Edit in Teams” directly. If you click on files sourced from Box, however, you get an ugly preview of the file and have to navigate to Box in order to make edits, which is a clunky experience.
Doing this will require Box to inherit sharing rules as defined in Teams. In other words, I should be allowed to at least view if not edit files shared with me in Teams, even if I don't have access to the underlying folder in Box. Perhaps…

Ability to Pin Box note to the top of a box folder
I would like to be able to pin a box note to the top of the folder list within a box folder. (I set up folders for project teams and I generate a box note for the document and information management guidelines for the team. It would be good if it was at the top of the list (or pinned to the side).
