Enable Bulk Edit of Admin Settings for Box Sync
My company is fully transitioning away from Box Sync and over to Box Drive. You can disable Box Sync from being used, but you can't perform a bulk edit on each person's account to uncheck Box Sync. Unless this is done, 'Synced' will still appear on the left hand side of a user's account. This will be a very time consuming administrative change when you have to manually uncheck this setting for hundreds, if not thousands of users.

Syncing files and having them download to devices automatically
Create a setting in Box Drive so that files, once updated, automatically sync and download to all devices for use offline. Now, we have to designate each folder for "use offline." Why not have a setting that allows us to make that the default (so it functions like Box Sync)? As it now stands, I'd have to know in advance which files I might use on a flight, if I'm traveling with a different computer. That's a pain.

Make the "Create New Collection" (+) button permanently visible
I would like to request a UI change for My Collections. Currently, the "+" button to create a new collection only appears when hovering over the "Collections" section. I request that this button be made permanently visible.
Reasoning:
Based on our user behavior analysis using Pendo, we have found a strong correlation between My Collection usage and Box AI adoption. Users who utilize My Collections tend to become more proficient and active with Box AI.To improve the employee experience and drive Box AI usage, we want to provide in-app training using Pendo guides. Would love to have files/folders in numbered order when more than 9
In some of my Box Drive folders I would like to number the sub folders/files for best structure. So the folder names would be something like: 1. Budget, 2. Production plan, 3. ...... 10. Casting, 11. Marketing, and so on.
But when I have more than 9 folders numbered like this they will not keep in the numbered order. 10 and 11 comes before 2 and so on. This drives me and my coworkers crazy. Is there any way to fix this so that they keep in the numbered order 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11 and so on?1 vote -

Drag and Drop with System Tray vs Windows Explorer
We are unable to drag drop files into an application when pulling content from the system tray but is able to do so from box drive in the windows explorer

Recommend an automated, timed backup onto a secure Duke folder for ToolKit folders/files to improve deleted file recovery options for a team. Now it appears that recovery of files that were deleted in a shared Duke Box Toolkit folder can only be recovered by the individual that deleted the file (not the co-owner or admin without the assistance of the individual that performed the deletion). For critical files this is a security risk to just store the files on the Box Drive because it severely limits identifying and recovering deleted files. Permanently mark a file as not malicious
We had a user (with Box Drive) who had a file marked as malicious. She apparently made a change to a local copy and added it back to her folder, causing it to be marked as malicious a second time. In fairness, the hash is different, since the file changed. When I looked at the first event, I ran the file through VT, and the results came back as all clean, so I marked it as not malicious. Web interface improvements - New Folder creation
Two things:
1) Within the Box Web App, allow for the creation of a New Folder and other features when you "right-click" within the view area. Google Drive already has this.2) After clicking the "New" > "Folder", to create a new folder, a pop-up window appears. Please have the cursor automatically highlight the "Folder Name" field, so that you don't have to click within the text field first to type a name.
These UI improvements will help with the overall experience. Thanks!

Ability to Disable or Choose email Notification when Inviting Collaborators
We would like to have the option to email or not email a collaborator when sharing a content in Box. Example use case is when cleaning up Box permissions (group vs individual) and the Admin needs to do that seamlessly without bombarding he whole organization with Box invites to files/folders hey already have access to. Specially required for Internal collaborators.
Providing access permissions does not always require an invite given the way Box works, the internal user will simply see the content when they access their Box Drive or he portal.1 vote -

Box Shutdowns down early during shutdown, so MS Word docs with changes can't be saved if shutdown aborted
This problem plagues me onace a week or so. When Windows 10 is shutting down, Box Drive shutdowns down early before Windows asks to save opened changed docs - so MS Word docs with changes can't be saved if shutdown aborted. I end up having to save locally, reboot, then put the file into Box, then shutdown a second time. Painful, especially at the end of the day.
Proposal - work with Microsoft on a way to delay the Box shutdown point - until after the cancel shutdown message occurs...1 vote -
Add the service name that locked file to the Lock property
There is a issue that Box Drive and other third party apps can open files that are being edited in Office Online.
When I am editing a file in Office Online, the user who is editing the file becomes me, so I can edit the file regardless of whether it is locked.
This issue can be solved if we know the name of the service that did the locking.
Therefore, please add the service ID/name that locked file to the Get File API response.1 vote -
Allow force download from web for red flagged files.
On occasion, a discrepancy may be found between your local copy and the one on the web. I recommend adding the ability to override your local copy with the web version as a Box drive local option.

Error notification of Box Drive should be restricted only be related to files which the user has accessed or edited before.
Or implement a new setting. Or implement a new setting to switch on/off to receive the error notifications.

Make MFO content searchable locally via spotlight/finder. With Box Sync locally downloaded content can be searched and accessed via Automator workflows. MFO in Box Drive should mirror Box Sync to truly be considered "Made Available Offline".

Allow authentication across multiple Box applications through one "passport"
There are many ways in which to authenticate to Box through Mobile, Sync, Drive, Web etc. Is it possible to have a single unified check wherein we could then open any end-point for Box to authenticate?

On PC's there are not many Colour Folder or File Options
Would love for a cross platform of identification of colour coding files and folders. On a Mac unless everything is operating from the same NAS we can see each other's marks. On a PC a lot of apps don't support colour coding for cloud based software which is grinding my gears.
I love that there is now commenting and various ways to communicate. Colour Coding would be a great addition if possible. I mainly use Box Sync/Drive though so this may be a lot more complicated but that would be SUPER APPRECIATED if there was such a feature

Report on Sync Incidents or Errors
A lot of the time, Sync errors are because of users. If you classify and identify these errors for our admin, it can help them use Sync better or identify a way to leverage Web App/Box Drive
