2. Box AI support for all spreadsheet tabs

   Currently, Box AI only reads the first sheet of an Excel file. We would appreciate it if this could be expanded to cover the entire workbook (all tabs).

3. Automatic Box Canvas Creation Based on Instructions to Box AI

   Currently, Box Canvas provides templates, but users still need to create the content themselves each time, which can be burdensome.

   To further reduce user workload, I would like to request a feature that allows Box AI to automatically generate a Box Canvas output based on user instructions.

4. Add co-admin roles or templates

   Add co-admin roles or templates. We have multiple groups who need co-admin access. Would be very helpful to have a role that is used to give permissions to an entire team. If a new permission is added, just update the main role\template and the entire team gets updated. Currently I have to go through each individual to change a permission for an entire team.

5. Restore Folder Insights graphs and activity metrics for folder owners and co-owners.

   Folder Insights previously provided quick, at-a-glance visibility into who accessed or downloaded files. This information is valuable for teams responsible for monitoring confidential or sensitive content.

   While similar information is available through reports, generating and downloading a report requires additional time and steps. Restoring Folder Insights would provide immediate visibility into file activity and help teams maintain appropriate oversight of sensitive information.

   I would like a feature that can automatically aggregate the number of views and downloads for specific files and folders in Box on a daily or monthly basis.

   Currently, I have to manually open and review Folder Insights or Content Insights from the folder or file menu. I would like to streamline this process and improve efficiency by automating the collection and aggregation of these statistics.

8. Implementation of a Feature to Enable Preview and Co-Editing of Encrypted Files in Box

   Files encrypted with solutions such as InfoCage FileShell cannot currently be previewed or collaboratively edited on the Box web interface. We would like these functionalities to be supported for encrypted files as well.

9. Developer Console: Add App Deletion Safeguards & Contextual Delete Separation to Prevent Accidental App Deletion

   In the Box Developer Console (app.box.com/developers/console), deleting a custom application is an irreversible action that permanently revokes the Client ID and breaks all active client/vendor installations with no self-service or support recovery path.

   Currently, two UX gaps lead to catastrophic accidental deletions:

   Ambiguous Button Scope Across Tabs: The global "Delete App" option is present in the navigation/footer across individual configuration tabs (such as Integrations, Webhooks, Configuration). Developers frequently mistake "Delete" for deleting the specific integration or webhook they are currently configuring, rather than the entire Box application.
   Insufficient Deletion Friction for High-Impact Action: Because app deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, standard one-click modal confirmations are easily bypassed under the mistaken assumption of scoped deletion.
   Business Impact / Use Case:
   When an enterprise production app (e.g., integrated across hundreds of enterprise users, external vendors, and printing partners) is accidentally deleted:

   All existing OAuth tokens and client installations immediately stop functioning.
   The customer is forced to recreate a new app with a new Client ID/Secret, re-submit for publication review, re-allowlist across multiple external enterprises, and coordinate manual reinstallation across all vendors.
   This results in critical business workflow downtime and high support escalation overhead.
   Proposed Enhancements / Solutions:
   Contextual UI Separation:

   Remove the global "Delete App" button from sub-feature tabs (Integrations, Webhooks, Authorization, etc.).
   Move "Delete Application" into a dedicated, distinct Danger Zone under an Advanced Settings / General tab at the bottom of the page.
   Clearly distinguish between "Remove Integration / Webhook" and "Delete Entire Application".
   Multi-Step Deletion Safeguards:

   Explicit Name Confirmation: Require the developer to manually type the full Application Name or Client ID to enable the delete confirmation button.
   Require "Disabled / Offline" State First: Require all integrations/endpoints to be toggled to Offline or Disabled before the app can be deleted.
   Optional Email / Admin Verification: For published or enterprise-authorized apps, send a confirmation link to the app owner / primary admin before deletion is executed.
   Soft-Delete / Grace Period (Optional/Future):

   Introduce a 7-day to 14-day "Soft Deleted / Deactivated" state where the app is disabled but can be restored with its original Client ID by the owner or Box Support before permanent purging.

10. Export transparent images using Box Canvas

    When exporting Box Canvas as an image, I want to be able to make the background transparent.
    Currently, when exporting Box Canvas as an image, the background appears white. Since there are cases where it's more convenient to have no background color when pasting into another medium, I would like the option to export only the elements drawn on the Box Canvas as an image, with the background set to transparent.

11. Request for a function that can determine whether an email address is registered in the Suppression List

    If a welcome message is sent before the mailbox creation is complete, it will be added to the Suppression List as an invalid email address.

12. MFA setup as part of initial new account setup if new account is triggered by invite that requires MFA to access.

    We're having an repeating issue with external users where they sign up for Box then, to access our content, they setup MFA. After MFA is setup, they are returned to the dashboard, but the link they clicked to start the MFA setup was to our shared folder. They then upload documents to their own personal space thinking that it is the shared folder.

    MFA setup that is triggered by clicking into a shared folder that requires MFA should redirect BACK to the shared folder once complete. If new user setup is triggered by following an email that requires MFA, setting up MFA should be part of the new user setup.

13. Silent and Instant Copying of Shared Links in Box Drive

    When using Box Drive via desktop sync (Mac=Finder, Windows=Explorer), selecting "Copy shared link" used to silently and instantaneously create a shared link and copy it to the user's clipboard. Since this was updated, a pop-up dialog opens in a new window and takes a few seconds to enable shared links and copy it to the clipboard. If the user navigates away from this window too quickly, the process does not complete, requiring them to start the process over. Then, upon completion, the user has to close the pop-up window.

    This has also created hurdles when using Claude to compile a spreadsheet of public links, as the AI can't create public links itself and requires the user to manually enable shared links for every file.

    Please restore the instant silent link-copying feature for a better user experience, or at the very least, allow users to enable shared links at the parent-folder level so users can quickly copy links for all the individual files within the folder. This will be a better experience and allow for faster batch sharing.

14. leave a note area to take note for each version of the upload

    we will update one file with different versions, found there's nowhere to leave a note for each version, what part is changed. think that is necessary to identify the change quickly between each versions based on own notes
    I can leave some notes below the version, so myself or other users can notice what is changed based on communication.

    When a workflow is created and saved in Box Automate, a service account is created (e.g., InternalPlatformUser1234567ABCDEFGHIJ@boxdevedition.com).
    However, at present, it is difficult to determine whether this account was created as part of using Box Automate, making it hard to distinguish it from a suspicious user that may have been created maliciously.
    Therefore, we would like the service account (e.g., InternalPlatformUser1234567ABCDEFGHIJ@boxdevedition.com) to be made more easily identifiable as an account created for the use of Box Automate.
    For example, after a workflow is created in Box Automate, we would like a pop-up to be displayed indicating that a service account for workflow execution (e.g., InternalPlatformUser1234567ABCDEFGHIJ@boxdevedition.com) has been created.

18. Bring back "Open Containing Folder" to the top of the Box Note menu (or allow customization)

    Hi Box Team,

    I would like to share some feedback regarding the user interface of Box Notes.

    Previously, the option to open the folder containing the current Box Note was located right at the top of the hamburger menu. This was incredibly convenient. However, with recent updates, this option has been pushed further and further down the list.

    To be honest, actions like viewing comments or inserting images are rarely used in my daily workflow compared to navigating back to the source folder. Having to scroll down every single time just to open the folder has made the user experience quite frustrating.

    I would highly appreciate it if you could consider one of the following improvements:

    Restore the original layout: Move the "Open Containing Folder" option back to the top of the menu.

    Add customization: Allow users to reorder or customize the menu items based on their workflow.

    Add a shortcut: Implement a dedicated shortcut button (or hotkey) on the main interface to open the parent folder directly.

19. Probelm: my academic papers are being flagged as HIPPA violations

    Not really sure where to put this... I am a paleontology researcher so I put a lot of academic research articles on Box to keep them handy. Today, Box has started flagging these articles as containing confidential patient health information. These are research articles that have nothing to do with human subjects. I would like to report this as an inappropriate automatic tagging by Box's tools and have it removed so that I can access and download my files as normal.
