1. Ability to allow user to use one time upload widget.

   There are use cases where the user would want the customer / external partner to upload files to embed widget only once. When the upload is complete, it shall disable the widget to disallow further upload.

   DOX in Japan has this feature.

2. Co-admin permissions : report role has too many rights

   If a user has only the report co-admin role ("Run new reports and access existing reports") to let him create reports for him, he can see other things in the admin console :
   - Insights
   - Content
   - Reports (OK)
   - Platform (with the Create Sandbox button !)

   Is it possible to secure this, so he can only see the Reports part ?

3. Improve speed of reflection of latest data for reports less than 1 hour

   Reports other than the User detail report will take 24 hours to reflect the latest data. Only user detail report is live with 1 hour data freshness limit. It is very inconvenient that the latest data is not reflected immediately.

4. Box Drive specification improvement request

   Box Drive is downloading a large amount of event streams, which can overwhelm company's network bandwidth. Due to the network bandwidth pressure, the business other than Box has been affected, so please take measures.
   Here are the details:

   Box Drive is likely retrieving folder and file events that the logged-in user has access to, but is aware that there may be a large number of event downloads in the following cases, for example:.
   ・A specific user performs bulk operations on a folder in which many users are collaborating. (All events are downloaded to Box Drives of all collaboration users)

   In addition, Box Drive receives information on all events that occurred during the stoppage at the next startup of Box Drive, so if you stop your PC at the end of work, all events that occurred during the stoppage will be downloaded when your PC starts up (Box Drive starts up) the next morning.
   Because the start time is almost the same for all users, the communication load increases rapidly at that time, causing problems. Due to the problem of this Box Drive, business other than Box has been affected, so please urgently improve it.

5. Enable Bulk Import of User Activity Report Schedule Settings via CSV

   In our company, we create dedicated folders for each project to manage personal information.
   For each project folder, we export a User Activity Report related to file management and share it with the inspectors responsible for each project on site.
   Since this task needs to be performed regularly, we use the schedule feature of the report.

   Because the "Affected Folders and Files," "Invite as Viewer," and "Repeat Every" differ for each project, we have to manually configure the Schedule Report settings one by one for each case.
   Currently, with Box's reporting feature, it is not possible to batch configure these settings.
   As a result, a significant amount of effort is required to perform the initial setup of the report schedules.

   If a feature were implemented that allows importing the output conditions (filter settings) of the User Activity Report from a CSV file, we believe it would be possible to reduce this workload.
   The intended user experience is similar to the bulk addition of users.

6. Option to request access to a folder

   Request: If an external or internal user is forwarded a Box folder invite and they are not a current collaborator, they should have a mechanism to request the access and such request should automatically go to folder Owner/Co-owner for approval or decline. This should be done in a way that does not display or communicate the folder owners name.

   Rationale: We have many external users that are part of large teams. Adding all (and maintaining) in the team is not feasible. These external users often forward the folder invites.

   Support for fetching and modifying co-admin permissions.
   Currently, Box allows users to retrieve a user’s role as an attribute via the /users/{user_id} endpoint. The possible role values are “user,” “admin,” and “coadmin.” While permissions for the “user” role can be accessed through this endpoint, the permissions and privileges associated with the “coadmin” role cannot be retrieved or modified through the API. This functionality is, however, accessible through the admin console user interface.

8. Shared With Me - Folder Management for Collaboration Folders

   We would like to have a "Shared with Me" folder for any folders we have been collaborated into.

   We continually get feature requests for Box to allow a way to organize content shared with me. For example, I'd like to create a "Shared with me" folder that all the content shared with me could be organized into.
   I envision this could happen in one of a few ways and there would need to be some determination how much control the end user has....

   Option 1:
   - Allow end users to check a setting that would create a folder called "Shared With Me". This would also move all folders that someone shared with me into the "Shared With Me" folder.

   Option 2:
   - Allow end users to manually move folders shared with them into a folder structure of their own design. For example I may create folders such as "Shared from Jim", "Shared from Carol", or "Shared by Andrew

   We would like to have a "Shared with Me" folder for any folders we have been collaborated into.

   We continually get feature requests for Box to allow a way to organize content shared with me. For example, I'd like to create a "Shared with me" folder that all the content shared with me could be organized into.
   I envision this could happen in one of a few ways and there would need to be some determination how much control the end user has....

9. Auto Delegation of task

   Allow user to set OOO (Out of office) and pick someone to auto delegate the task during his/her absence. This should delegate only tasks assigned directly to the user or if every member of a group is assigned a task. If the task is assigned to a group and marked as "Only 1 member from group to finish", then auto delegation should not happen.

11. User activity on some days only (like saturday and sunday)

    Would it be possible to run the activity report and select some days in the week ?
    It could be interesting to see the activity during the week-end (saturday and sunday), so we can see if it's normal or not.

12. Enterprise setting for requiring authentication method by default (Box Login, SMS Authentication)

    Currently on a per document basis require a user to authenticate into Box before completing a Box Sign request. Similar to file request we would like to see this as an enterprise default option under admin > enterprise settings > box sign

13. Add support for Integrated Windows Authentication for Box Drive login flow

    Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) allows for the following login flow for the webapp:

    1. User logs into Windows
    2. User goes to Box and selects to use SSO to login
    3. When the user is redirected to their Identity Provider, the browser sends the user's OS credentials and the user does not need to enter credentials again
    4. User is logged into Box

    This would provide a more seamless experience for users. In our computer labs, users would sign into Windows, click one button in the Box Drive login window, and have access to their Box content natively in the OS.

15. Metadata Versioning History

    As we need to meet specific regulatory or compliance requirements, it's helpful to have a history of the metadata attributes that are applied to a folder or file.

    It would be ideal if this was versioned on files/folders in the UI or reportable via user reports.

    Although we do not plan to introduce this feature in the near term, we recognize its importance. We will certainly keep this in mind for future roadmap inclusion and we will keep the status of this request updated to accurately reflect our current position.

16. Operation history in box.com/folder/000000000/settings

    There isn't a way yet to see how and when the setting was changed. We're trying to know is who and when and how did the Collaboration and Privacy settings change on Admin Console User Activity reports.

18. Add option to cancel workflow

    Currently there is only delete option to stop the workflow.
    Workflows are stalled or stacked as in progress sometimes. We want to assign similar task manually or re-assign the same task to complete the workflow in time.
    But it will cause duplicated tasks assigned unexpectedly or file operation (move or copy etc.) is executed twice. This is very confusing.
    So we want to cancel the existing workflow before manual workaround.
