1. Upgraded my laptop, lost hundreds of files, Box support claiming files never properly synced

   Hi Box, I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed with your product. Your customer support team said I need to post the feedback here. I have been using Box Drive for the past four years and was using it to keep track of sensitive and important records and information related to my employer's financial statement audits. This included hundreds of workpapers and workbooks used to gather and compile information to send to our auditors for the company to pass our annual audit. I could view the files in Box Drive and in the online web browser, indicating that they had properly synced. I would copy and reuse these files each year. I got a new laptop and found that I couldn't access any of those files. I tried to look at my old laptop and the files are not there since my work turned off the access. I'm now having to try and recover the files from the old laptop, which Box support said never properly synced. This makes no sense to me. There was zero indication that files were not being properly synced. I feel that this is a huge misunderstanding on your part of what your customers need and I have lost all trust in your product and will be working on finding a replacement, such as Google Drive. Losing and missing files is absolutely unacceptable. I will never recommend your product and will discourage any other professionals from using your product.

3. Box Shield MIP Integration with GCC High

   For customers with GCC High environments (Microsoft), Purview is not currently able to be integrated using the Box Shield integration (as it can be with the commercial version of Purview) to map the MIP Sensitivity labels with Box Shield's classification labels. We would like to see Box Shield to be able to integrate with Purview when it lives in Microsoft's non-commercial environments, including GCC High and DOD.

   We do not plan to address Linux support for the Box CLI.

6. Update Notification in Box Hubs

   We currently have a limitation with Box Hubs, where there is no feature to notify users about updates to content placed within each Hub. Presently, we rely on traditional portal sites such as SharePoint to accomplish this task.

   To address this, it would be highly beneficial if the personnel responsible for uploading documents to each Hub could also post updates on a dedicated "Announcements Page." This page would be configured by administrators but managed by the respective Hub content owners, enabling employees to view the latest updates at the start of their workday. This could potentially replace the need for our traditional portal site entirely.

   Additionally, if Box Hubs could support widgets that integrate information currently hosted on our corporate portal, it would allow us to consolidate all internal communications within Box Hubs.

9. @'ing box groups in comments

   Is there a way to @mention a box user group in the comments section? We have executive team groups of 4-7 people that need tagged in the comments for notifications to approve and discussed projects, but when you are @'ing all 7 it looks a little messy as well as remembering all of those users. Since the email addresses are linked in the box group, would it be possible to @mention that unique group name in the comment and get the same result as @'ing a single user name?
   I look forward to hearing your thoughts/feedback.

   Thank you for your feedback! We believe this feature is important and can provide significant value to the Notes product experience. However, we cannot prioritize this feature in the near term. We will keep this under consideration for our future roadmap.

10. Box Sign requests default "my requests" folder

    Box Sign requests default to save into a "my requests" folder for all users. We don't always need the sign request saved into our regular Box folder structure and having a separate place for each user to send their requests to would be more beneficial.

    Box Relay Processing Delay

    Our client experienced significant delay in Box Relay Processing.
    This Relay assigns task to user after previous task was completed, but it took about 3 hous to do that after previous task was completed.
    Although Box Relay is not always processed in real time accourding to the article※1 below, 3 hours delay affects their work efficiency.
    We hope Box Relay be fixed and this problem will be improved.

12. Box Sign in Box for Oracle NetSuite

    It would be great if Box Sign was available in the Box Content tab for Box for Oracle NetSuite integration. That way documents in these folders can be easily sent for signatures as well.

14. Box Status site improvement

    1. Adding status of each region on Box Status site(https://status.box.com/) , because currently an outage impacting only users in a specific zone/region doesn’t appear on the status site. (e.g. customers who are in Asia region are unable to download/upload/preview.)

    2. Clarifying the definition of impact. "Incident Response and Communications" article (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697394-Our-Approach-to-Incident-Response-and-Communications) has the guideline of customer impact. However, definitions and examples of each category are not clear enough.

15. Box Sign - Checkbox review NOT required to complete Box Sign request.

    Today, I have some documents with 40+ checkboxes where in theory none of them have to be checked in order to sign the document. Today, even if I mark the checkbox as "not required," I still have to manually review every single checkbox or else the Box Sign user interface will not let me complete the Box Sign request.

    There should be three options:
    (1) Checkbox required to complete Box Sign request.
    (2) Checkbox review required to complete Box Sign request.
    (3) Checkbox review NOT required to complete Box Sign request.

    Please remove reviewing the checkbox field from being mandatory.

    Box Sign - Checkbox not required.

    Reviewing optional checkboxes is NOT required to complete a Sign request now.

    We will continue exploring and improving checkboxes behavior in the future, for example: saving the checkbox size when preparing a document for senders AND additional setting to require reviewing of optional checkboxes.

16. User dropdown for Box Forms

    In Box Forms it would be very convenient to have a User dropdown field.

    Many of our workflows have a user fill out a form, which is then rendered into a document and sent for approval - and often, approvers are not static (e.g. their manager).

    It would be very convenient if they could select another Box user with a similar experience to the collaboration dialog, or when you're adding to a Box Sign - a few characters from their name or email will show matching users. This field would then expose both the user's name and their email as variables in subsequent Relay steps.

    It would be even better if the selectable users could be limited to a predefined list - especially if that list could contain an existing Box group. That way, when we update our managers group all the associated forms would automatically update.

    Right now, our workaround is to add fields for both Approver Name and Approver Email, and have the user either type or select from a static dropdown, which means we have to update many forms when we have org changes - and it's on the end user to correctly match the email and name.

17. Using Box Relay on Mobile

    Box Relay's [manually initiated] workflow does not currently support mobile.
    We would like Box Relay to be able to use mobile even more effectively.

19. Survey Making Function on Box

    Hello, It would be great to be able to create surveys and receive survey results using Box. That could be through an integration with Google Forms. It would be helpful to be able to create a Google Form within Box and then be able to download the results of the survey into a Spreadsheet also created or saved on Box. Thanks!

    In the present Version, Box reporting provides only a minimum representation of what's happening. We are looking for a reporting dashboard view with the following details on the dashboard.
    1. Total No of Box Folder
    2. Shared Link counts
    3. Shared Links without password count
