1. When building a hub, it would be beneficial to be able to add files and folders in which you have less than owner, co-owner or editor access

   Being able to add folders to view and upload files to a hub without higher (owner, co-owner, editor) access would allow much more functionality to the product.

3. Introduce a "Collaboration-Only" Account to Prevent Shadow IT／コラボレーション専用アカウントの導入

   The Problem:
   When we invite an external partner from a domain that does not use Box, they are forced to sign up for a free, individual account to accept the collaboration. This creates a significant data governance risk and "Shadow IT" for our partners' organizations. Their IT departments have no visibility or control over these new accounts, and their employees might start using the personal storage for business data, bypassing company policy.

   Proposed Solution:
   We propose the creation of a new type of account, specifically for external collaboration. This "Collaboration-Only" or "Storage-less" account would have the following characteristics:

   • It would have no private storage space.
   • Its sole purpose would be to allow a user to authenticate and access the specific folders and files they have been invited to.
   • It would not function as a standalone, personal Box account.

   The Benefit:
   This feature would make Box a much safer and more enterprise-friendly platform for cross-company collaboration. It would allow our partners to access shared data without creating a data governance risk for their own company. This would eliminate a major barrier to collaborating on Box with new partners.

5. I want Preview on hover in list views to support Box Notes and Box Canvas

6. Add expiration date to collaboration list CSV of folder insight

   The CSV file output by the Folder Insights feature does not have an expiration column, but the collaboration report in the Admin console does.
   I want the expiration date to be output to the CSV file of the folder insight function.
   This is necessary for the department folder administrator to accurately manage collaborators.

7. I would like to be able to choose whether to display or hide the new menu.

   In the future, if there are any new additions to the menus that Box users can see,
   I would like them to be hidden by default, with administrators and co-administrators able to set whether they are visible or not.
   The reason for this is that, as part of company operations, functions that have been verified to work by the operator are deployed to end users along with manuals,
   and if end users were able to operate new menus, this could lead to an increase in unnecessary inquiries about operations and confusion.

8. Unable to load Box content in Firefox web browser

   I use Firefox as my default web browser and it has been working fine until today, no content loads and any shared content simply displays 'Oops! We can't seem to find the page you're looking for.'

   Loading the link into Google Chrome web browser works as expected.

9. Optional Main folder/sub folder view

   If we have a standardized sub folder structure, would it be possible to create a view where all files in a main folder are displayed. This would be very useful for dealing with some folders with ~dozen files as opposed to larger main folders with hundreds of files in subfolders.

10. Hubs - Guest pinning or favourites

    When Guests (certainly with a free account) are invited to Hubs, there is no easy access point for them to be able to go back to the hub. (its not in the left-hand navigation and/or does not show in recent and you can't add to favourites)

    We are integrating a SaaS called Photruction（https://www.photoruction.com/） with Box. When a Box folder is created via Photruction, a corresponding group is also created to manage access permissions. Since Photruction generates a large number of Box folders, the "Groups" section in the admin console becomes cluttered with many groups created by Photruction, making management complicated.

    If a hierarchical structure were supported, these groups could be organized under a dedicated Photruction group folder, which would help streamline the interface. This approach could be effective not only for Photruction, but also in any environment where a large number of groups need to be managed.

12. We would like to have the ability to receive a notification after uploading a file from a file request link to confirm that the file was upl

    After uploading from the file request link, "File successfully submitted" is displayed, but it is not possible to check which folder the file was uploaded to and when, so it is not possible to determine if the file was actually uploaded correctly.
    Since uploading from a file request link can be done by non-accounted users, it is not practical to check the destination folder, but we would like to see the feature implemented, since receiving a notification would provide evidence that the file was uploaded correctly, as well as the date and time of the upload.

13. Splitting up who has editor permissions and who can publish in Box Hubs.

    When operating Box Hubs, there is a need for a system in place where after multiple people edit a hub, the edits are not immediately made public, but rather are checked by an appropriate authority before being made public.
    This is currently possible in SharePoint, but not in Box Hubs.
    Hopefully, by further dividing up the roles of those with authority, it will become possible to carry out the above operations.

16. Prevent unintended sharing for Box Hub sharing links

    We have set the "Default access for shared links" in [Admin Console > Enterprise Settings > Content and Sharing], but when I issue a shared link in Box Hubs, a shared link is issued for "people in your company."
    This is because Hubs' own shared link default settings (people in your company) are applied. "Invited peple only" would be used when shared link is not allowed for company usres in Enterprise settings.
    When issuing shared links for Box Hubs, administrators will also need to set "Default access for shared links."
    The aim is to prevent people from accidentally sharing a shared link with others without realizing that it has been issued with unintended permissions.

17. Automatically generate a password for the shared link

    I would like to request the addition of a feature that generates a random password meeting the password requirements on the screen where users create an open sharing link and are prompted to set a password.
    When there is a requirement to set a password, manually creating a password each time can be burdensome.

19. Feature request to increase (or remove) the Box Graph Connector user limit

    I would like to see the Box Graph Connector user limit increased to 50,000.
    Or I would like to see the cap on the number of users removed.
    The user limit has been raised, but it's not enough for us.
    Please increase the limit on the number of users to 50,000 or remove the limit.

20. Provide a way to get a list of DevicePins for a specific Box User using the Box API

    Currently if you want to delete all device pins for a user, you must

    • pull the complete list of device pins for your enterprise
    • seach through the results for a specific user
    • for each device pin found, destroy it.

    It would really help to be able to call
    /enterprises/{enterpriseid}/devicepinners/{userboxid}
    and get the device pins for that user.

    This feature is already available in the GUI.
